Definitely worthy of the Pro moniker
I love how this device doesn't completely replace the Xperia Pro, but rather meets other needs for Professional photography. The Xperia Pro and the Xperia Pro-I are made for very different use cases. I really like the direction Sony is taking moving forward with their mobile division. We need less cookie cutter smartphones and more of those options that break the mold to meet specific needs for a more focused demographic, and Sony is one of those companies making that happen.

I'll be ordering 4 of this Pro I soon @ BH is going for $1910 kit with freebies . We do live sports streaming for fan cam. Right now we're using the Pro.
I think a lot of people will be able to use this phone for various content creation.

@@OmarSS87 we use to appreciate the shadow in art school lol. It was fun and games in 2015 when phone cameras were bad and any feature was considered great. Now it's played out and a gimmick...I hate night modes on camera

Say thanks to god its a sony the add-on prices are in hundreds while apple sells its 2inch dia wheels for desktop at USD 1000.

@@MuhammadKharismawanExactly as i said add ons are in $100s, the bluetooth remote stand is USD100,. So you get the stand and monitor in USD 300.

Plz Do Full Camera Review Of Sony Xperia Pro 1
I recently bought the Sony aSiii camera and a lens. I'm holding a 5ii phone in my hand and love it. I'm getting into content creation. Do you think it's worth my money to get the Pro-I? Or can i use my 5ii phone as a monitor on my aSiii camera? I love that handle option.
5:55 I wonder what it would be like to use the Bluetooth Zoom features of the Xperia Pro-I with the auto A.I. tracking features of the Hohem iSteady M6? While the subject walks away from the M6 tripod, while holding the Sony Shooting Grip, the user could zoom in.....
Never mind, as I said that mid sentence I realized what I was expecting would need to be developed by a third party, since I believe the functions of each device are specific to each accessory. I just unboxed both so if my findings are positive, I'll probably do a review of it since there doesn't seem to be much chatter in regards to the Xperia Pro-I paired up with the iSteady M6. The combination alone, would be a game changer.

Did you have any overheating issues? I placed an order and now I see a few complaints.
How do you set up the grip with the Xperia ? I tried touching photo and T on the grip but nothing happens. Not even the light turns on. The Xperia doesn't do anything either.
Great video. Would anyone know if the experia pro I would function as a monotor with the old Sony a7 mark 1? The imaging edge mobile app does not allow phones to be used as a monotor with the original a7 but the old app did before they discontinued it.
Apparently there is an app on the phone that lets you use it as a monitor. I had also read that you could upload footage from your camera to the internet through your phone. I'm not sure if that is confirmed yet or not.
I ordered it, so I will have to wait a month to find out.

The video quality of the phone is odd. Something is not OK with the video quality, like something is moving all over the grass(my monitor is OK, so it is not about that).

hey why dont you relay to the sony guys to work on the software processing for the auto mode. I mean seriously how hard could it be when even xiaomi's auto performance is better than sony's, and oh yeah. the 8 mb front camera is shambolic man with the same 1/4 inch sensor for the past 5 years
Other just use hdr as default, sony does not.
Nothing else.
those are just filters that was set automatic lol....thats why low budget phones picture quality is not that far off flagship phones, now its becoming generic...i rather have this phone camera app...im tired of useless over processed pictures...its not 2015 anymore...
@@The-Heart-Will-Testify then maybe they should provide the option when u first launch the camera app. "do you like colorful images or bland images" i am pretty sure dxomark doesn't just give any phone good rating. they do a lot of testings. sony's image processing sucks. simple as that
