It was just an experiment, i am not a chemist so you can say i scrubbed it clean.

Last week I tried to use same mixture to clean up some mold in my bathroom and I got same failure. backing soda clogged the sprayer head :)

The mix is 2 TBSP Baking Soda to 1 cup vinegar.

Can I do without the baking soda? Just straight vinegar? Or vinegar diluted in water?

Hello, I did check my original videos, it is about 15minutes for the total video time i filmed. (mutiple files)

I don't know, just tested it on these polished alu wheels.

I don't know, I think so.
Will this work for rusted brake calipers?
I don't think so. I just remove the rust with an metal brush and then paint them again with paint that can be used for hot temperatures
@@KimboEK4 What do you use for formulation for heavy rust on wheels. I have some iron dust from the brakes that is baked on the wheels.
@@albowrx Hello, i just can't say what's best. After this 4 wheels i didn't tested some other things on wheels. Just searched on youtube, there are a lot of ways but i think you must look for that way you think is best to try with the products you have or will buy to test.
I earlier tested wheel cleaner with bloody effect, but i was not impressed, it smells chemical and the paint near the brakes did not like it.
Hi, how long have you not washed the rims? It seems to me that you haven't been to a car wash for some time and I don't mean a professional car wash. I think that the version with vinegar and baking soda can be made unless you have another option. Your rims were not dirty enough for this video !!!
These rims haven't been washed for 6 months on the inside, the outside are super easy to clean. I tryde it on the outside also to hopefully get mote shine on the rims.

@@laszlozoltan5021it was just a test if these products work to clean dirty wheels. I am not a professional wheel cleaner with wheel polishing and things like that 😉

All this proves is that baking soda and distilled vinegar basically does a similar job as off the shelf alloy wheel cleaner and that alloy wheel cleaner will actually spray through a mist spray bottle.

Or some other discount store.
I also have seen other people with the same issue, but a better sprayer (cheap or expensive) can do the trick.

You are aware that mixing the vinegar and soda neutralize each other. I’m not sure what you accomplished?

These are Original Audi S8 polished aluminum wheels. Bought them cheap for the winter days. Also not really my taste that's why I used these wheels to test this cleaning experiment 😉
