Caustic is opposite of acidic. Baking soda is caustic, when you put it on battery terminals it neutralizes the acid. Bleach and sodium hydroxide are caustic too. To neutralize any caustic cleaners, you can use any vinegar which is acidic to neutralize. Some examples. Thanks for vid!
I bought the same product, worked out pretty well, I kinda just sprayed everything including brake pad, caliper, and the hoses and stuff behind, also I got some of it on the paint of the car, I got scared and I washed it off, nothing really happened so... It got most of the brake dust off of the brake caliper and the wheel was looking sharp. No dmg to the tire.
That seems to work pretty well, we had some lads cleaning cars on our garage front, they used an acid spay (possibly autoglem) it worked very quickly but I think it took the shine off my van wheels. I was given a can of wheel protector that you spay on new or clean wheels that stops the brake dust sticking, excellent stuff really works well and protects the wheels for months, looks and smells like welding anti splatter spray, could be another test video!
Try hand sanitiser with a tooth brush you will be surprised I taught myself this idea I tried it and works amazing on light switches around your taps and stove handles and your wheels try it...
Hi mate, looking to try this. Did the shine of the rims got affected? Mine got a clear coat of varnish which i don't want to scratch or damage using oven cleaner or rubbing with a kitchen sponge
Hi, it didn’t affect mine, but my wheels are a bit of a state anyway. I’d maybe not recommend using an abrasive sponge though if you have a fresh new coat on yours. All the best 👍

Great video Tony !
I cleaned some old chromed wire-wheels with it. I needed a scrub brush for the best results.
Tried this on my previous rims…Completely Removed the clear coat on the rims and Destroyed Them… Wouldn’t do again EVER!
Good to know. Clearly worth trialling on hidden areas first. All the best 👍
