- P3S Pandæmonium Savage -- A quick vid showing how to execute the Tank+Ranged / Melee+Healer spread for Flames of Asphodelos and resolving tornados in P3S.
⚠️ Many PFs are being lazy and running Melee/Ranged groups for all the mechs in this encounter. This causes people to yolo/scramble for spots during FOA spreads... leading to damage lost or getting each other killed.
💖 Use TR/MH groups for FOA.
Tanks South / Melees North. Since the boss will be facing South this whole phase, the Melee will be able to get positionals if they are at North.
🐔 This also includes alternate Tornado/Myta positions that goes with the TR/MH groupings. I recommend using this instead of the standard Myta setup!

Member of my static linked this to research since we are going in, up until now, you guides have been very helpful and even first timer raiders can use and pick up with ease, and i really appreciate it.
This one though? Too much info to be useful for people going in for the first time, it doesn't break things down as well as your other vids.
Appreciate it being there none the less. ty.
Woo!
I didn’t realize you made this, and I do realize that I’m not the only one who asked for you to change the original.. but this definitely makes it easier to refer people to your work w/o having to add caveats.
Showing the reasoning for the strat is a nice touch too!
Typical super high quality guide that combines condensed information + footage. Great work and please keep it up
Shiva spread survivors know the deal.
Thanks man, amazing as always!
This is what we've found works best for our group, but for the tornado cones we found it easier to have ranged dps bait se and sw cones with a healer baiting the cone N and a healer/2 melee stack baiting ne/nw, this helps us because they're already very near those spots after dodging the first bowtie stack/spread
Tank South Myta is something I never seen before... but it do make sense.
Since Melee North can grab that sweet 45 Angle Positionals.
It's also easier for Elmo users to change their ways.
It also gives tanks a very clear visual marker to stand on (the front arrow of the boss's hitbox). Things can be chaotic when they're running around to grab tethers.
@@AoyagiMei I just stand on 3.
Just to reiterate: For the knockbacks, stand on the small yellow squares on the ground for the ideal knockback.
This is very helpful. Thank you!
SHEEEEEEEEESH
Great strat. Group is going to be doing this as our parse strat from here on out.
FYI: Group had me go out to where one of the healers spots is (next to a nado). I parsed 97 percentile in this fight last night w/out the 605 weapon and missing 2 crit pieces of gear. All I can say is that you maybe miss 1 gcd by doing that. It is not the end of the world and you can still parse with the best of them.
naisu
@@rithli it is very naisu! BTW ty for the guides you make. Some of the simplest+best out there.
Thank you for the tank and healer grps, now I can say JOONBOB NADO'S in PF!
hopefully people will watch this video myta or elmo is fine, but the fact that TTMM is even a fuckin thing dissapoints me so much
Hell yeah
big thanksssssss
The gloryplume spread is always what massacres the entire pf, every time. It's either that the aoe is too big or the people have a really hard time practicing social distance. And that far into the fight, it can be very demoralising to die to that.
The real issue is how everything is delayed on everyone's screen. If FF14 ran in real time, this mechanic wouldn't be an issue.
@@psyonicpanda, more cast bars addresses that issue so you know when mechanics are landing
THANK YOU!
Where can I get a playlist for all this great music you have in these guides ?
already killed it i don't care about the strat i was just curious which BANGER you were going to use and i'm not disappointed
I love your guides normal but there is no way in fuck pf is gonna go for this shit and it’s just gonna be one more divisive thing people won’t even read, then they’ll say some shit like “I’ve never seen anyone do it that way.” So glad I got my loot out of this one because I started skipping it every week
"I started skipping it every week"
yeah that's helping lol
question - sometimes, a 3-1 dodge will push you out of your assigned half, if the first AOE is on the left of your half and the third is on the right (and vice versa). do you think fixed spots are still practical there? one of the ranged players in each half has a long way to return to their spot...
there's more than enough time move into your spots after the dodges
Your assigned half is indicated by the 1, not the 3. This is an unspoken pain point in PF that no one wants to acknowledge because it's only super deadly one sixth of the time (3 and 1 split halves -> stack). However, from my experience in PF, I believe it's more accepted that you should *end* in your assigned half, not necessarily start there.
@@curiouserthing Yeah I can see the logic there, that does make the fixed positions easier too.
my group are more or less settled on using the axis of the first AOE as an 'adjusted' N/S and basing our spread spots on that, but is something to bear in mind in PF!
Yo where's the one for spread non-foa
I hope this picks up in pf groups, because elmo and ttmm/hhrr for all spread/stacks is just dumb.
This is how European PF has been doing it for aeons.
@@Dharengo NA is allergic to anything that gives proper uptime even when it's safer. It's extremely stupid and frustrating. And then the same people forcing the awful strats complain about pf missing the dps check.
@@Qazqi That sounds frustrating because this method doesn't just give uptime, but also safety.
Music name ?
can it always be a 3-1? I sometimes do 3-2.
can always do 3-1 and make it to your spot in time but if you can manage 3-2 that's completely fine
joonbob more like joongod
These diagrams look like an almost perfect copy / paste of the same strats shared on toolbox a week or more ago by various people but with some cosmetic upgrades and a soundtrack... at least the information might get spread around to more people, but quite a few people were already doing this outside PF, or hoping that PF players would catch on to why it makes sense in the first place.
Idk about US but Europe has been doing it like this for weeks.
@@Dharengo In statics, this strat is pretty normal (and makes total sense obvs) but in PF 99.9% of the groups want TTMM / HHRR even for recelears. Suddenly the trend changed course the same day this video came out though... gotta be at least grateful for that I guess. People really HATE trying anything new or innovative once they learn it a certain way.
@@IM-jv8mw Really? Must be a US thing. Europe has been doing it like this for weeks.
it seems joonbob doesn't play caster :(
Sorry but this is too hard for the average FFXIV player. Im skipping P3S at this point, people just are unable to do it.
Sage from Aether here.
Thanks for ruining PF for us. Now nobody can do P3S properly.
