Intro script
Borderlands 2 has been out for over 10 years but still has an active community thanks to challenge runs of the game, Allegiance runs, weapon restricted runs, a gunless run even, and whatever you call what gasmask does, but all of these challenge runs center around one thing, and it isn’t guns, it’s experience it's levels baby, the higher the level the stronger you are. Getting early game levels in BL2 is pretty common, with the DLC’s being the source of XP, now most people get to level 7 and some even to 10 and then stop, but I ask can I, and not should I? So this is how I hit the max level before killing the first boss. At least max level for normal mode
In Normal Mode the max level is 50, you can technically push it farther but XP gain decreases exponentially after hitting 50, so for this video max level is 50
The only rules for the run are No BAR and no returning to claptrap's place once I left until I was at level 50. This challenge was also done completely vanilla with no mods on. Also I didn’t do any read only farming for the run because I never got access to the stash anyways.

This video is one of my favorites I've made because it's a super unique idea in challenge done in Borderlands 2 because so many challenges have been done in that game, and yet I've done something first pretty cool. Also 12 hours of editing a day for 4 days straight made me a husk of a man never doing that again - Ігри

@@dalekin3177 Lol, I don't know if you know how the exp system works, but you most certainly could not get to level 50 by killing the first enemies over and over.
@@crayfishfuture You can but it'd take an inordinately long amount of time.
The funniest thing is that if you think about it, from the enemy's perspective when the actual game play started, You had a Skull next to your name the entire time.

the easiest way without that level up is just staying inside the tunnel thing and shooting while inside

Not a huge accomplishment in all fairness just playing the DLC and a little grinding, can be done in 1 session.
I mean, BL3 is so shit that people had to back to 2
I mean this isn't really a challenge. It's just playing the game normally except you skip the starting area by using the fast travel.

@@DrQuagmire1not really k6, joltz has a greater following as well as more content that is eye catching and deemed a bit more entertaining keeping the borderlands community alive. Joltz has at least kept the bl2 community alive, where k6 might be keeping the bl3 community still there

I was worried this would be one of those calculate experience from the enemies pre Knuckle rather than actually do the dlcs in a more extreme way of the free levels
the thing is that reached a certain point one cannot receive experience if too overleveled
@@fulltimeslackerii8229 again, its impossible to reach level 50 with only the enemies before knuckledragger because in a certain level you stop to get experience, so its not bad the method he used here
In normal mode enemies level does not scale with the player, only in true vault hunter mode

2 days and this has blown past any of your other videos. Very nice.
Just reinstalled BL2 and started fresh. Played Zer0 to TVHM on a normal playthrough and wanted a second Character. Never played with another besides Zer0. Had no motivation to train Salvador the normal way. Found your Video and now im havin so much fun. Its a nice challenge. Just killed piston at lvl 24 and now I need to get to lvl 25 and do the next step. Inventory space and lack of Ammo are quite challenging though because all my drops are abbysmal... my best weapon is a stiff injector pistol and a green vladof caustic sniper lol... Thank you for the video❤
