I was there. Was there for all Winery shows. Too bad they don't do that venue anymore. Nonetheless, this song is signature TJ/Doobs. Rock on guys! RDS the Vet
@@ghawk78 You haven't heard the other sax players the TOP has had, one guy in particular was just unreal live. Perfect pitch and amature with the high notes within his range, no shrilling.
@@austinteutsch Haha...I've heard them all....from Skip Mesquite, to Lenny Pickett to Tom Politzer. You're the one who didn't know Marc was in T.O.P. at one time. Regardless, Marc Russo is one of the best and most respected alto players on the planet. Fact.
GOTTA have 2 drummers in the Doobs, but he got the job done.....This is only half of the band I remember. At least the front line guys are still with us (and glad I'm still here to listen ;-) )
Loved this song when I was in my teens. Brings back good memories.
Bruce had a whole lot to do with the success of this band. Without him, we would never have this amazing band to love. Thank you Mr. Bruce Cohn!
Partly true. Like almost all bandmanagers, he took the money and ran ...
Folk rock at its best personified by this band🤩
glad to be still alive
Tiran PORTER should be back to where he belongs to...
The Doobie deserve a BAD ASS BASS PLAYER!
Best Doobies song of all....(all the great ones were Johnston songs...)

God damn, this is great. That sax solo was so good
That guy in the red t-shirt and black hat hasn't changed in all the years the Doobies have been around, lol!!!
That's Patrick Simmons, man!
So good....
See ya fathers day!!!
I didn't realize Ron Swanson sang lead for the Doobies.
The Doobie Brothers started out with 2 drummers.Call me of fashioned/school if you will cause the beat was very big back in the 1970's also as well.
John Hartman was the sole drummer on the first album. Michael Hossack joined them on the second album "Toulouse Street."
No doubt. TJ, king of gettin' it. GH the vet.
I agree the drums were solid but very mechanical and lacking that swing/ groove that made the doobs special
This would really kick with Marcus Miller sitting in on bass!
No way. Tiran Porter, the original.
You be you and let Tower Of Power be TOP cause that sax boy is good, but he ain't there.
That's Marc Russo...former TOP saxophonist.
@@ghawk78 TOP has had many sax changes since I first saw them in 1972 backing CCR in San Antonio. So maybe he was having a bad day. It happens.
@@austinteutsch I, as a sax player, will take "bad days" like that every day.

Man I love the doobies and this song but that drummer is bland af....no charisma whatsoever!!...jmho

How can you kill, that which has no life?
How gay is that mustache...
