I think it's a good idea. Gets people to be more interactive with making suggestions. A more community feel. The more suggestions the better, so people can choose what might work for them because everybody is different.

    Count me in.as always
One thing,if you can't afford coffee creamer, try milk instead.
Meat eaters, buy the bigger packs of meat on sale, break it into single portions, food saver them,or. Wrap well in cling wrap and foil, put into Ziploc bags, label, freeze.
Prep produce as soon as you get home.
Make double or triple batches of food and break it in single portions and freeze.labelled,of course.

I'm using instant coffee for my third cup of the day. Less caffeine, and I bought the jar last year. Use up old stuff!

I am looking forward to the new series. Two years ago, we gave up our OU football season tickets due to my knee problems, I was no longer able to walk across campus as well as up and down stairs several times during the game. Now we watch games at home in our comfortable recliners in a climate-controlled environment. It's not the same as being there in person but a good alternative. We save at least $3,000 per year now since we no longer have the expense of season tickets, gasoline, meals, water and snacks during the game.

Dawn, thank you for your ideas. One of my saving tips is to always try and catch rainwater. Pails, buckets, whatever you have. Use this on your garden, flowers, house plants.

Combine cleverness with reality. You might control car insurance by learning that some cars are less costly to insure based on the color..the kind of car..the year-of course...Control the size of your home...lower your ceilings to conserve utilities-especially if you have vaulted ceings..live in less of your home We rent out a room for someone to store things...NOT live there..no evictions-just agreement to change the lock for non-payment. Ultimately sell/auction the stuff after 60 days...

I found those fake brand color street nails the kind that are like stickers. I found them at the dollar store. If you put them on your toes and then you blow dry them on it looks like you have a pedicure and they only cost me $1.25.

If using the oven, load it up,and bake multiple things at once.
Use Laundromat if able instead of the washer and dryer at home
Vacuum the back of the fridge
    Clean lint trap well.
Use a shop vacuum to get all of it.
    Use off peak hours.
    Line dry items,if able
Grow your own produce,if able,or join a community garden co op.
    Shop loss leaders only
Detailed inventory of what you have on hand.

On many refrigerators, your condensing coils are UNDER the refrigerator, not on the back. But yes, cleaning the coils with a vacuum helps immensely.

Great oven use idea. The area laundromat now costs $12..front load instead of top.load. I am.better off using the counter washing machines that you can buy..wash as much as possible by hand..wear 2 thin pairs of slacks to keep warm..easy to hand wash I work ftom home..not required work wardrobe.

I gave up on pedicures, haircuts, coloring my hair.
I stopped buying "new" clothes except for personal items.
I stopped buying bakery items and red meat.
I stopped sending the pups to the groomer for baths. I give the beagles baths in the bathtub.
I cut the cable cord 5 years ago and have ROKU and live stream
I stopped exchanges of Christmas cards and gifts. I give to my kids and grandkids a monetary gift. That's it
I stopped eating out, definitely no fast food.
I had to stop the guy who cut my grass. I have a lot of property but do it myself
I stopped buying annual flowers and have perennials in the yard, low maintenance and I'm not buying flowers at large prices anymore. I trade roots sometimes with neighbors for new plants 😊
Bidenomics has caused major changes for me
I'm 65 and caregiving for my son who has Autism so he can live semi independent. Healthcare premiums soared.
Again, sacrifices but gratitude and contentment.
I'm not a slave to all these deductions but chose the silver lining of saving money and putting it into accounts

I'm sorry things are so much harder for you, but glad you've found creative ways to enjoy your flowers and tv streaming. Bless you for caring for your son at home. My mother is caring for my two brothers at home. She'll be 91 soon and once said she thought God was keeping her alive to be useful to my brothers.

I have three dogs and my groomer kept raising the prices. My alternative was to groom the dogs myself by investing in a good set of grooming, shears, and scissors. The dogs don’t look as good as the professional groomer, but not bad at all and I feel like we’ll only improve with time.

Dawn my husband just completed a health risk virtual health call. For a few minutes of time he will get a 100 dollar walmart gift card and 25.00 in cash. If you have seniors who are struggling and have a medicare plan they could check and see if their insurance has this option and get paid for it. Also another savings tip is State Farm has a driving app product that lowerd your insurance rate.

If you have teaching colleges and tech schools in your area, you can often get services at drastically reduced rates and the students are monitored by their instructors. Dental is a big one, especially if you need something major such as braces. Beauty schools, some automotive repairs and even getting your income taxes done. We had a beauty school in our are for many years and you could get pretty much anything done for much cheaper there. Automotive services is another area where you can save a lot. Consider the fact that even if you don't need anything done that's a big expense, if it's something you do pretty regularly, such as getting haircuts or having your hair dyed, over the course of time you will save a lot.
