  • A Wullie Campbell song, follow up to “I See The Rain” recorded in ’67… when “psychedelia and baroque pop ruled”..
The intro and repeated bridge recorded “backwards” … I asked Keith Mansfield to score string quartet and 2 french horns as we fumbled around, young boys, experimenting, desperately trying to keep up with the fab 4 … I sung the verse vocal on this…… it stiffed totally … last chance saloon for us at CBS.. then Mike Smith persuaded us to record mainstream pop “Loving Things”

Loved your self-penned songs around this time, it was obviously the safe options that could make the money though. Similar direction that Graham Nash was taking the Hollies. Time is a great lens for seeing how innovative brilliant young writers can be!
