Hi @brokenchurchgirl720! I do have one other OBS video on how I dual record my screen and webcam at the same time: ua-cam.com/video/F3MCo2AELEE/v-deo.html Currently, I only have these 2 OBS videos, but they have gotten good response so I will plan to make more. Stay tuned!
Thank you! This was very helpful. Every time I tried to use OBS I had a terrible time with it. After watching this tutorial, I discovered that I was doing almost everything backward.
Hi @darz_k. , thanks for watching! I don't have a video on exactly what you are looking for. But I did make a video on how I record my desktop + webcam at the same time and then split them up in the editing process. It may give you some ideas for how to approach your problem: ua-cam.com/video/F3MCo2AELEE/v-deo.html Hope it helps!
Trent, I loved the tutorial and was ready to try the information you shared on setting it up. When it came to identifying Affinity, I could not find the source. Are you using the .exe installer or the .msi installer? How are you identifying Affinity Photo for OBS?
Thanks,@@TechnicallyTrent. I'm guessing that you simply use the Windows option as the source to show your whole screen. That is doable. By the way, I hope to see your visit to Affinity Photo Creatives with Rens van Daalen. I am one of his moderators and many of us there have been fans of yours for a long time. Thanks again.
obs is not displaying camera and capture card at the same time ( was working perfectly on windows 10 but when updating to windows 11 thats when the problem started)
Hi @Itz_Greeny_, sorry to hear it is not working. I haven't experienced that exact problem, but sometimes things like that happen when upgrading the operating system or OBS itself. Let us know if you find a solution!
Thanks! I havent used OBS in years so this was helpful!
Thank you for this tutorial. Do you think you will do anymore? I loved your breakdown and step by step. Looking forward to more of your work.

Can you please point me in the direction of recording multiple camera sources to individual files, while using vdo ninja?

Hi @BigDaddyZhandt, I think I had this problem, too. Now I just record my whole screen with Affinity on it. Hope this helps!

No problem, Geoff!
i need a darn video on setting up audio so its synced with your camera when you talking. lol
Hi Amy! I find that for me, it is synced by default. Are you recording the audio and video at the same time through OBS?

OBS frustrated me so much the 1st month, 3 months later I'm doing a lot better.
