Hi @PAndrew002, When using the Gradient Tool with the bitmap, on the top menu bar, is the "Extend" option set to "Wrap"? That is the only thing that I can think of without seeing what is happening. Let me know how it goes.

Glad to hear it worked! What was the trouble with removing the girl? Was the Inpainting tool not doing anything? Or was it just giving a bad result? The layer does need to be "rasterized" for it to work, but usually it will pop-up a message telling you that needs to be done when you use the tool.

@@TechnicallyTrent User error, wrong layer. I think I got it figured out, the pixel layer is like a piece of glass between the background and the character. I shared your video to my FB and X pages. I posted a few up coming covers at the post on X

@@BreezzersGaming Exactly, the pixel layer is blank at first, and then you add the new "inpainting" content into it. It isn't required to do it this way - you can inpaint directly on the bottom layer you want to change - but I like to use a new pixel layer in case I want to make changes later. True, some devices and screens will display thumbnails bigger. But I like to prepare for the worst case scenario :)

@@TechnicallyTrent What doesn't every one have a 42" 4K OLED. 3' from their face and using readers for the small print. LOL I looks pretty good on my Iphone 15 Max also, but when you start scrolling the playlists gets very small.

Hi @richardc8129, I have never tried it, but according to the Affinity Forums (from 2018), on Windows, they are stored in: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Photo\1.0\user\adjustments.propcol Reference: forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/55084-a-photo-lut-presets-file-folder/ If that doesn't work, you can try asking on the forums again. Hi @BreezzersGaming, For Vibrance, I use one of the Adjustments. It is one of those icons at the bottom of the Layers panel, next to the FX. Do you see that option?

Hi @marcososa1986, When you select the Gradient Tool, at the top of the screen there is an option for "Context". It is set to Fill by default, but you can change it to Stroke. Hope this helps!

Hi @Flemishe, if you open the file by itself, do you see a white line on the edge? That means you'll need to fix it in Canva (or whatever editing program you use). Something in your file is not exactly aligned with the edge.

@@TechnicallyTrent it’s the edges of each square. I put one square image in photopea and when I click repeat, the white lines are throughout the pattern wherever new squares were made. So basically every square has a white line around it. I wouldn’t think it would be Canva because I am just starting with a square prior to trying to make it seamless.

@@Flemishe Are you saving the file as a JPG? The compression on the edges may be causing an issue. Can you try saving your file from Canva as a PNG and then see if it works? When you view the file by itself, does it have white lines on the edges? It may be hard to see this in Photopea if the background is already white.

Hi Bob! Looks like JPG XL is a new addition to the JPEG standard. It seems to be backwards compatible, so I think anyone can start using it if they like without problems. But I haven't heard much talk about it or used it myself yet.

@@TechnicallyTrent Exports a *.jxl file which does not appear to be recognized by standard applications other than Affinity. It is smaller and better looking for a tiny size than regular jpgs. It is an improved version. Hopefully it becomes standard but that could take years if ever.

It's definitely something you can try. I used Google Slides a lot to make presentations. I've never tried it for art or designs, but it does have some basic functionality that should work. Let me know how it goes!

I’m looking to switch to Affinity Designer 2, so that’s why I searched for a tutorial on the software.

@@DesirousCrown84 I like Affinity Designer 2 a lot, but it really depends on your needs. One really nice thing is that Affinity now offers a 6 MONTH free trial for their software. Plus, it is really affordable even if you do buy it. My recommendation is to download the trial and give it a go for a few months :)

Hi @Arff02, both would work, but probably Affinity Designer is going to be better. It has more tools related to shapes and vectors, which are used a lot in advertising and branding. It also has raster (jpg, png) tools if you need to do basic photo touch ups.

Hi @terispro6428, are you asking about keyboard shortcuts? Yes, many of the functions have keyboard shortcuts. If you go to Edit -> Settings -> Shortcuts you can see the current shortcuts and also change them.

Hi @Golemofstone, yes, I think looking at older items would be the best way to avoid AI content if that is what you want to do. There aren't many advanced time-filtering options, but you can sort the search results by "Oldest First." Hope this helps!

Hi @AstroShadeOfficial, which program and OS are you using? And which version of the software? I checked on Windows and Mac with version 2.5 and it is there. I'm not sure where it would be on iPad.
