The reason that everyone is in different frames is because of COVID - this was all filmed at different locations and then edited together and they did this for the last year and a half just to keep all of us Home Fries filled with their wonderful music. And yes, you have now become a member of the Home Fries.
“Blue Ain’t Your Color”, done Motown style with choreography! The quarantine edition is a great bunch of songs they were doing when they couldn’t get together, this was one of them, but there’s plenty more: Diamond Dreams, Meet in the Middle, Moonshine, The Gambler, to name a few. The editing by Jimmy Bates was fantastic to put them all together.
Yes! Meet in the middle is a masterpiece in eddeding! And think about they was not together at all so how to record on their phones and that tight schedule how to record all different clips is fantastic and i don't know how they all pulled it off. 🤪😵🥴🙈🙉🙊🤯🤩😁👍

Adam's beatboxing is outstanding especially when you hear the castanets. Austin has a degree in music theater and brought it out in full display with this video
"All About that Bass" with the outtakes video! So much fun! Butts Remix is great fun, and my personal favorite is "Hillbilly Bone." I'll check to see what you've already done so far!
Hillbilly Bone is a good one as well as well as Love Train. You really can't go wrong with any of their songs. Some are serious songs but most of them they just love to have a good time and fun with the songs.
The guy in the T-Shirt with a Whale on it is Chance. He's the member who has tattoo's (right and left arm minimum). Not everyone has access to costumes where they are allowing for pandemic limits. Chance and Sami live in LA so normally not an issue but there are pretty severe limits in place so they may not have had time or location to get stuff. He also wore the red toque so there's that (don't go there). Of all of them Tim and Austin tend to go all out for costumes / makeup. Never Gonna Give You Up they both did as well. Part of it could also be the whole "I can laugh at myself" attitude. We know all the guys are "funny" but some may be a bit more "personally conservative" in their humour. Great vid as always Adam. Have a great one all.
Chance is dressed as the guy who first started the Sea Shanty craze on TikTok. The whale shirt was delayed but they needed to do another take of part of the video, so then he got to wear it. That's why two different shirts.
What blows me away, ever since I thought about the realities of the Quarantine videos, is that they were each able to do their parts PERFECTLY, without being able to hear the others, to practice in person, or to have a music soundtrack going in their ears. How in the **** did they do that!! It simply blows me away!!
I recommend sliding over to watch Oogie Boogie's Song or The Little Mermaid Medley by VoicePlay. They are equally as talented, and good friends with Home Free
I loved your reaction...I love watching you enjoy it as much as we do! This is just such a catchy tune...you can't help but dance to it! Did you notice that Tim didn't do a lot of movements....he's standing in a small boat in his brothers-in-laws back yard! Austin's brought out his musical theater side for this one! Congrats on 9k subs....you so deserve it!
So, that was six popular sea shanties, but as always, when Home Free does a medley, the songs run so seamlessly into each other it's difficult to tell if you don't know the individual songs. Thank you for you HF enthusiasm. You may also wish to cover their mashup of Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud & Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On. Cheers!
Great acapella groups are rare. Basically you have Home Free, Voiceplay and of course Pentatonix. I suggest you check out each group. Pentatonix is probably and arguably the best mix of individuals and talent. I suggest you check out 'Hallelujah', 'Mad World' and 'Amazing Grace' to start. Home Free, I suggest 'Folsom Prison Blues',. 'Butts Remix' and just about anything else.
Voiceplay is fun. They do a lot of collaborations. Take a look at their Just Sing video; make sure captions are on to see all the other artists' names. You will recognize one of the Home Free Guys in that one. Home Free has done multiple collabs with Peter Hollens and also with The Hound + The Fox, a married couple who also work in video production on some of Home Free's covers. Peter has done collabs with the big Bass triad...Geoff, Tim and Avi. Geoff-Christmas Movie medley, Tim-Misty Mountains and Avi-Black is the Color of My True Love's Hair.
Great reaction!!!! You should really react to Home Frees cover of Cosby Stills and Nash song Helplessly Hoping no beat boxing just them singing it's mind blowing.
OH... and if you are a Lord of the Rings/Hobbit Fan, Tim Foust does a great song with Peter Hollens. Also there are several collabs with Peter Hollen and Home Free as well as others. He is another Acapella singer that is great.
Hey Adam! New subscriber here. Have really enjoyed all your reactions! You are great. Home Free first got recognition from the contest show in the US called the "Sing Off" it was a contest among a cappella groups and they won the season they were on. They have been together for about 7 years. After reading a number of the comments on your page I am surprised that no one has mentioned Pentatonix. They are another a cappella group who won their season on the Sing Off show. They almost single handedly brought a cappella back. They too do covers and many originals. They have won 3 Grammys and have been together for over 10 yrs. They are incredible. One request would be Bohemian Rhapsody or Hallalujah . They also have 5 members but one is a woman (she's gorgeous}. Please chec Them out!!! You wll be blown away I promise.
