Tim Foust is actually a 5-6 octave, he can sing super low bass, that sounds super natural, and then switch to a fairly high tenor. He is one of the few in recent years to have that much control over his voice. Once you start down the rabbit hole of Home Free, us home fries come out :D

@@YBPlaysMusic If you enjoyed this one, you should most definitely listen to Mayday... BUT...there's a caveat!! You have to listen to about half a dozen or so other Home Free songs, and once you fully think you understand each guy's part and range, then and ONLY then should you allow yourself the eargasm that is Mayday. To get you started, Ring of Fire with Avi Kaplan is a good jump off, since you're already familiar with Pentatonix. After that, listen to Man of Constant Sorrow, When a Man Loves a Woman, and a few others that people suggest for you. Trust me, wait a little and be patient for Mayday, you won't regret it!!
Just an FYI on the Beatboxer of Home Free, Adam "The Freak of Nature" Rupp ... he was twice voted best All-Around Beatboxer by his peers at the World A Capella Expo in Austria
Home Free won the ‘Sing Off’ the year after Pentatonix; the ‘Sing Off’ was an a capella competition. While I am a huge Pentatonix fan, I truly enjoy Home Free as well - they are extremely talented and all have a great sense of humor that they frequently showcase in their videos. Loved the reaction - you are blessed with some great, funny and talented friends!
I can indeed imagine their humor through their videos! This one at least also had some silly moments in it with some of the members and it's a lot of fun to see them having fun too! :p
You might be too young to fully appreciate this (sorry if I’m being ageist) but Home Free totally Rick-rolled all of us on April 1st this year with three different intro videos that resulted in a completely hilarious version of Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ .
@@lauriedaiken4426 Sounds funny though :p Well, I might appreciate it if I had seen it already but I haven't, so maybe I will at some point :p thx Laurie!
@@tangemclemore4116 His reaction, he decides. We have the choice to not watch it. Personally I'm here to hear and see the reactions to the song and the video, which I have already watched so if I need to hear or watch it uninterrupted I just do Home Free the favour of going to the actual video.
The video format was done on purpose to emulate the TikTok format and also using the HF to look like the Tik Tok logo. Btw, Home Free and Pentatonix are the two top A Capella bands. Home Free does more country songs but also does all other genres as well. You might check out their cover of Man of Constant Sorrow which was made famous in the movie, O Brother Where Art Thou.
Am I correct in assuming the tap on his chest is not actually the sound in the recording? It sounds more like a clap than a tap :p Thx for the suggestion, Ted!
• Tim Foust (Jack Sparrow) is the bass. • Austin Brown (Sinbad, with a sword) is the high tenor. Used to work for Disney and has a music degree. • Rob Lundquist (Beard with checkered shirt) is the tenor. • Adam Chance (beanie and t-shirt) is the baritone and can switch out for bass with Tim. • Adam Rupp (Prince Eric with the blue sash and white shirt) is the beatboxer.
This group is an all-vocal group, with no instruments similar to what Pentatonix does. They have a beatboxer (Adam) that sounds like an actual drum kit and in the last song here was making castanet sounds. The super low bass (Tim) is the Captain Jack Sparrow, then they have a baritone/bass (Chance) who started this song off, and a high tenor who was the dramatic pirate (Austin) and the one with glasses and bigger beard (Rob) is their lower tenor for the group.
@@YBPlaysMusic When they do live shows they have to have a segment dedicated to Adam doing a literal drum solo to prove it is all vocal and live he well deserves the title freak of nature.
You would be amazed at the range all of these guys have. They purposely set it up to look like Tik Tok since that's where this craze started. The logo is HF for Home Free.
We love our Home Free guys, their catalog is large and really great! This video was released during our quarantine, so individually. They wanted it to resemble tiktok . For the bass, try Misty Mountains with Peter Hollens and Tim Foust.
They were all in separate locations for this due to the pandemic. Tim (Jack Sparrow) is the bass, and he was standing in a very unstable boat in a yard. All of Home Free have a great time doing their videos, and their live concerts are very entertaining
@@YBPlaysMusic There are tons of live videos and they are fun. They do have 2 different live vids of Mayday, but many suggest to wait on listening to that one. I wouldn’t be able to wait. Castle on The Hill live is a cool one. They use a looper on it which they rarely do.
Great reaction! New subscriber! Came for Homefree. You will discover that these are 5 of the most talented guys you will ever find. They do more than one genre. Country like their cover of Johnny Cashs "Ring of Fire featuring Avi Kaplan from Pentatonix, R&B like their cover of Boys 2 Mens "End of the road ", Pop " Cant stop the feeling" . So much great songs to choose from. And none will disappoint. And if you think this bass was low, check out their bass singer Tim Foust in Misty Mountains from the Hobbit by Peter Hollens featuring Tim Foust. It will rattle your bones. Enjoy your Homefree journey! Thank you for this reaction!
Home Free is one of the best vocal groups out there. The have Over 100 video's This is one of their many quareenteen videos they put out. Jack Sparrow is the bass you hear and Adam their beat boxer is about the best there is.
I love Home Free!!! Hopefully you check out more of their stuff! All acapella so it’s all just vocals and beatboxing! I suggest watching their version of “Can’t Stop the Feeling “! And definitely bring Yourin along!
I just subscribed to your channel and I'm what you would call a 'home fry which is what home free fans are called. I've been a home fry for a few years. I've been to 2 concerts and I've watched I think all their videos. They throw their humor in a lot of their songs.
Thx Lesli, for the support and for the info! Probably more Home Free in the future! And yes, I've been informed about the Home Fries as their fanbase ;) awesome!
Home Free is really talented & amazingly GOOD. They lean towards American Country music but they do all genre's of music, React to them & we "Home Fries" (Home Free fans) will flock to your channel. If I may suggest to react next to them, check out their cover of "Man of Constant Sorrow", also check out "When a man loves a women"
Thx so much for the suggestions Kevin! There will be more Home Free in the future, probably, so stay tuned! Meanwhile, there will be other reactions of course as well! :p
Thought you might want to know that the guys are still in quarenteen, so this was done in 5 different places . They have a number of guaranteen songs, such as Meet in the Middle, Diamond Dreams, Down to the Honky Tonk Moonshine, and a number of others. All done from their homes.
Yeah, artist really have to be creative and innovative these days, to keep their popularity up, as there are no concerts yet at the moment. And that's a good option indeed. Although for them probably a lot more for fun to get together to record something.
The song "Meet in the middle" is a master art in eddeding (spelling? I'm not English native and Google translate isn't nice to me today.) I have seen the song several times and when I watch other reactions on UA-cam the comments on other things I have missed. So have your friend with you when (if) you do a reaction video of that song, its much to discover and discussing. 🙂👍
New to the home free rabbit hole, I assume? Allow me to give you a somewhat brief introduction/overview of the group: Adam Rupp - main founder and vocal percussionist/beatboxer phenom. And he really is a phenom. Lives somewhere in Minnesota. Tim Foust - main bass guy, has a five octave range, can sing tenor from time to time, and the guy dressed up as jack sparrow in the sea shanty video. Originally from Beaumont, Texas. Austin Brown - main tenor of the group, has a beard kinda similar to Adam Chance's, can sing falsetto at times (example of that is "when a man loves a woman"). Originally from Tifton, Georgia, but currently lives in Nashville. Rob Lundquist - backup tenor, guy with the big beard and glasses, another Minnesota man, knows a lot about the music industry (went to college for a degree in that). Adam Chance - mainly baritone, but he does sing bass whenever Tim has the lead of a song/cover they do (example of that is "my church"), new-ish member, has been with the group for just over four years. Born in Alabama, but lives in L.A.
The group was founded in Mankato, Minnesota, southwest of Minneapolis, and they (not including chance) were on a tv series called the sing-off. Pentatonix was a featured group on there as well.
There are 2 guys that do Bass in this Group! Chance, the main singer in this medley of songs and "Captain Jack Sparrow"! These 2 Singers have a 4 Octave Range and a 5 Octave Range. More information to follow!
Welcome to Home Free... This done so kool.... Home Free is the wolds all male country vocal group... They do so much more than country though.. Love everything they do..
Thx for watching and for the suggestion Poetic! ;) I'll see which one will be next! Can't tell exactly when, but in time, I'll definitely do more of Home Free! ;)
They did this from their homes, too, so the editing is incredible! Well, except Tim, the bass, who's singing from his brother-in-law's back yard while standing in a boat.
Well, the voice recording is probably done separately and afterwards they probably each recorded their own video to put together. But yeah still, each in a different environment.
(Adam) Chance, the first singer talked the guys into doing a sea shanty medley as its his 'thing' . I think their video was deliberately shot to be similar to tic toc as that was the rage at the time including the Home Free logo to match. It's also shot at various different locations across USA because of the pandemic and rather expertly put together probably by Darren Rust, their producer & arranger extraordinaire & definite 6th member of HF. They have so many songs on UA-cam and haven't disappointed yet. They've provided us with more songs fortnightly over the pandemic and have all learnt new skills so they could record remotely so as not to let their fans down. If you do more HF the Homefries will come. Glad you enjoyed it.
This video was made to be reminiscent of TikTok because that's what made the Wellerman famous. I'm sure you have seen by now that they have incredible videography in other videos. It was also filmed at each of their homes during quarantine, across the US
@@YBPlaysMusic yes it is recorded in 3 different states they have been brilliant over the last 14 months keeping us all entertained during lockdowns, there’s too many goods songs to check out they can sing the phone book and make it sound great.
Home Free is amazing. They filmed it like that on purpose to put it on TikTok. They are also filming all their latest videos this past year separately due to Covid. So they film themselves and sing by themselves. You’re right Jack Sparrow is the bass known as Tim Foust. He has a 5 octave range so he can go super low and go high as well. The beatboxer, Adam Rupp, is amazing. Did you hear him do castanets in the last song? He does drums and harmonica and lots of other sounds as well. Rob Lundquist is a tenor and wore the glasses. Adam Chance started out the song and is the baritone/bass. Austin Brown (in red with sword) is the high tenor. They won the NBC show the Sing Off in 2013 the year after Pentatonix won. They have amazing harmonies if you’re interested in listening to them. Try Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Country Roads. If you like bass try Folsom Prison Blues, I Can’t Outrun You. Good reaction.
Please make reaction to Diana Ankudinova - the most unique young talented singer. One of my favourite things to find and enjoy is music that gives me chills and goosebumps. I was cruising UA-cam recently and discovered a Russian talent show contestant that did just that, with one of the best, most unique voices I've heard in many years. Her delivery was nothing short of magical and I searched out more and more and more, and...more chills. I was stunned to find that the first performance I heard was when she was 14!!!! She's now 17 and still developing. She sings in Russian, French, English and Arabic. The covers she performed on that show are very popular on UA-cam. Many UA-camrs publish reactions on these performances, which include the ethnic song "River" (in a new musical arrangement), "Blizzard", "Wicked Game", "Human", "Derniere Danse", "Take On Me" and others. Please react to one of Diana's songs and I promise she will surprise you.
Yes! More Home Free! They are classified as Country A Capella, but they have done so many genres in their unique style! They can be funny, serious, inspirational, and socially relevant, too. I enjoyed your reaction to the Sea Shanty Medley! You were right about the Jack Sparrow guy being the bass! Tim Foust is his name and he has a 5+ octave range. The first guy is Adam Chance, who is bass/baritone. The beatboxer is one of the co-founders, and his name is Adam Rupp. The bearded guy is their 2nd tenor, Rob Lundquist. The guy with the sword, Austin Brown, and he is their leader tenor. Maybe check out/react to their cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Castle On the Hill”!
Some Home Free recommendations; "End of the Road" for something not country "When a Man Loves a Woman" for a little romance (Quarantine) "Folsom Prison Blues" for a different take on a country song and some great bass (Quarantine) "How Great Thou Art" for inspiration and some beautiful video "The Butts Remix" or "Country Fried Pop Medley" for humor "Mayday" but don't listen to this until after you get to know these guys "Blue Ain't Your Color", "In the Blood", "My Church", "Ring of Fire", "Man of Constant Sorrow" because they are just fricking great songs.
This was filmed in their respective homes during the quarantine so taking that into consideration it was a surprise just how good the video was. Thanks to their producer Darren for the hard it had have taken to sync all of these videos together as well as the sound. Great job to all that worked on their quarantine videos.
I was glad to finally find your first reaction to Home Free. I don't know if you realized it at the time, but this was done with everyone in a different location due to Covid. It was mixed at a later date. I won't talk about who they all are because I know that you know them all now. I believe by now you are a Home Frie.
I don't know how many songs you have reacted to of Home Free, but this group is very versatile, here is a break down: the collective abilities of this group. -- 5 lead singers -- 5 tenors -- 3 baritones -- 2 bass -- 1 basso profundo -- 5 beat boxers/vocal percussionists -- 1 EXCEPTIONAL beatboxer/drum kit/ vocal percussionist -- 5 proficiency for genres: (Pop/Country/R&B/Rock/Gospel/Rap/Blues/Musical theater/Comedy/Holiday/Doo Wop/dancers-in- training 😉 )
Home Free is their band name and the logo is the band initials HF. And yes it looks like the tiktok logo. They also won the Sing Off the year after PTX.
Home Free was also won the season of The Sing Off like PTX. I have seen Home Free 2 times in concert and Tim Foust the bass can go soooo low that you can feel the vibration all through your body. Check out their version of Ring of Fire, the sing off version and the one featuring Avi when he was still in PTX. The Home Free guys love to have fun check out the Butts Remix.
Thank you two for the reaction to Home Free. So many people have all ready given you information on the guys so I will leave that to them. Not sure if they mentioned Chris Rupp he was the founder of Home Free with his brother Adam Rupp the beatboxer while in college. You will see Chris some in the videos usually wearing a cowboy hat. He left to go out on his own and is doing pretty well. Anyway there is that. The song choices below are great also. You will have fun with Home Free. They are amazing and do funny, sad, and meaningful songs. Liked and subscribed. Thanks again and hope you decide to go down the rabbit hole..
I just subscribed!! Welcome to HOME FREE HOME FREE is a county A Capella band that does more than country. Tim Foust, the bass, Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, Adam Chance (Chance) is the baritone/bass, since 2016, he took over for Chris Rupp (one of the founders of the group), Rob Lundquist, tenor and Austin Browm high tenor make up the voices of angels. PLEASE listen to more.. If I know my Home Free family well, they have already given you suggestions of music. LOL Thanks for the reaction
More Home Free please! The Jack Sparrow is the bass Tim Foust. Home Free is an A Capella (all vocal) band. All of the sounds made are beat boxer Adam Rupp, the mustache & glasses guy is Rob Lundquist, the guitar thumper is Adam Chance (nick name Chance), and the sword guy is Austin Brown. These guys are the best…check out “The Butts Medley” is a good one, “Man of Constant Sorrow,” “Ring of Fire,” to get you started. I like both of you guys in this reaction…keep ‘em coming.
Rob lundquist is opera trained. He did classical singing in college. He has not sung opera in fifteen years. Listen to two cowboys try to sing opera. You’re in for a treat.
Home Free is: Earlier Years Chris Rupp (usually wearing a Cowboy Hat & always smiling) and Adam Rupp, the Beatboxer founded the Group. Chris went Solo in 2016 with which he is doing Very Well! Adam Chance who goes by Chance was brought in to replace Chris! Chance is the Baritone that has a 4 Octave Range. He can replace Tim, the Group's Bassist when needed as Chance was the Bassist in his previous Group before Home Free. Back to Adam Rupp, he's the incredibly talented Beatboxer and can sing well too! His Beatboxing is above and beyond any other Beatboxer that I have seen! He's also won several Beatboxing Championships to boot!😁😁 Now to Tim, the Group's Bassist has a 5 Octave Range so he can Lead the Group as a Bassist or a Tenor or something in between! He's Phenomenal and he's also taught some other Bassists from other Acapella Group's to be able to do certain things that allow them to get Lower and hit Notes they weren't able to before now. The Bearded Singer is the Group's Tenor and he is Awesome! Such a Creamy Tone and at times his Range is incredible too! To end the Group's Members is Austin the Group's High Tenor. This man is unbelievable! He can hit the highest of the highest of notes and he still can do Low Notes almost Baritone standards! Now hopefully you can get caught up with the Group's Members!
Tim Foust, Geoff Castellucci, and Avi Kaplan: the Trifecta of Bass Boomers! We need to get these guys in the same room, socially distanced, of course, but acoustically sound like a church or some large auditorium, and let them record an album. Please, that's all I want for my birthday, which is in five days. If the universe is kind, this WILL HAPPEN.
Oh, also, the first song you guys don't recognize--Leave Her, Johnny, Leave Her--is featured on the video game Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, you know, cause it's a pirate era section of the game timeline.
Great reaction! Home Free is great! Hope you will react to more of their songs! Can't stop the feeling, diamond dreams, how great thou art or flowers on the wall are great songs to listen to! Subscribed btw!
Home Free is probably the second of the three best acapella groups in the us. This video is a take on the Tik Tok rage of doing sea shanties. They are quite good and love to make funny videos. Where Pentatonix does pop or Christmas genre, HF is more country. They do have covers of fun pop songs like their latest Rick Astley "never gonna give you up" which is hilarious! "Man of Constant Sorrow" is a great one to react to. Their fans are called Home fries. For a really good bass feature, watch "Ring of Fire" featuring Avi Kaplan.
Another great A Capella group that did a Sea Shanty lately did a Viking one (it has been on Viking and Assassin's Creed apparently) called My Mother Told Me and it will get stuck in your head. Oh, almost forgot the group - Voiceplay.
You should check out another acappella group called VoicePlay as well, superstition is a really great song they covered, they also did a nice version of carry on my wayward son.
Thx for the suggestion Amanda! I don't think I've heard anything from VoicePlay yet. A long time ago (probably 15 years or more), there was an a cappella group called VoiceMail, the name reminded me of that :p but they probably don't have any connection at all :p haha
@@YBPlaysMusic that’s Awsome!!!!! I love watching people discover Tim and home free for the first time. Don’t get me wrong Geoff castelucci avi Kaplan tomi p there’s a lot of good bass guys out there but when you listen through headphones or speakers that accurately reproduce bass notes you can tell he just simply has an edge on them in my opinion. Don’t forget to check out Tim’s collabs with other artists such as Peter hollens and former band mate Chris rupp.
Love yall reactions to Home Free these guys are awesome try WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN. CANT STOP THIS FEELING. ONE MAN BAND. MY CHURCH so many good ones enjoy
all the sea shanties I know are from Pirates of the Caribbean or playing Assassin Creed games. I am from Australia our 2 big music guy royalty is John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes which the did song together the bane of the song was called When Something Is Wrong With My Baby if you ever want check out.
You are getting closer to reacting to their cover of Mayday.... you think you have the bass figured out with Tim which is correct........ but a surprise arises with this cover...... you will find as you journey down this rabbit hole with Home Free the range by all of the singers. End of the Road cover by Boys to Men show some other surprises. They are the most diverse of genre selections with a cappella. Enjoy......... and thanks for reacting to them.
Definitely more Home Free Reactions! You will have the Home Fries show up in droves! They are Home Free Fans! Go React to (if you haven't already): Start with "Ring Of Fire" Featuring Avi Kaplan formerly of Pentatonix! Then: "Some Girls Do" "Castle On The Hill" "Cover Me Up" "Blue Ain't Your Colour" "Colder Weather" "Die A Happy Man" "What's The World Coming To" "In The Blood" "Winter Song" "The Gambler" "Take Me Home Country Roads" "Folsom Prison Blues" "Down To The Honky Tonk" "Dive Bar Saints" "I Can't Outrun You" "Helplessly Hoping" "American Pie" Featuring Don McLean
Did you hear the castanets in Santiana? Tim Foust has a five octave range. Adam Rupp is a two time world champion beat boxer. You need to go onto the squirrel nest (full of nuts). It is recommended that you wait till you know the members before you hit Mayday, but you won't go wrong on any of their songs. Most people do either Ring of Fire or Man of Constant Sorrow first.
Going to see if you realized what you got hold of here with this group ... getting ready to look up other reactions you did regarding Home Free. They're having fun with this one, they are world class -- both in singing AND in their video work. I never watch them on Tik Tok, even though I'm a Home Fry.
Filmed in each of their home state i the U.S.A, do to covid. They also did Folsom Prison, a Cash cover, as well as When a Man Loves a Woman and a few more. My favorite (a must see video) their Butt Medley.
Tim Foust is the very low bass, in the Jack Sparrow outfit. But what's weird is he can also sing a good low tenor (but not in this song). During such times, Chance (baritone) covers bass rather well.
Haha thx for the suggestion White Fang! Yeah I sure do, but I want to see so many of their stuff😛 I have to have a lot of patience until I can cover all the suggestions of everybody haha😛 but I’ll keep it in mind! Definitely more Home Free to come!
If you really like the bass, as I do, listen to Misty Mountains, by Peter Hollens, featuring Tim Foust (Jack Sparrow!). He goes basement-level low!!! Great reaction, guys. My first time seeing you, and I, too hope you do much more Home Free!!!
The quality of the video was intensional they did this from each of their homes across the US.. they have done lots like this.. it recorded on special mics.. all their work is as professional as anyone.. they are as good as or better than any acapella band.. they have a comical side to them but you seem to miss that..
Hm, I think I addressed it when Austin (I think, the guy in the red cloths?) did a few comical moves in the video :p but to be fair, it was my first introduction to them, so I guess I'll notice more of their comical side in future videos :p And yeah, that's also what I assumed with the way they recorded the video and adapted the logo to look like tiktok's logo :p
Thx for the suggestion, Korbin! I've seen them being mentioned a couple of times already. I plan on doing a reaction to them as well, in one of my future videos ;)
They use No instruments...only mouths. Their Beat Boxer is incredible !!! Their Bass (Jack Sparrow”....has a 5+ Octave range...pretty Awesome !!! They have 139+ videos here on UA-cam!!!! All genres of music!!! Now, do “MAN OF CONSTANT SORROW”, “END OF THE ROAD” (cover of BOYZ II Men), “THINKING OUT LOUD”, “THE BUTTS REMIX MEDELY”......”WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN”! !!!
ua-cam.com/video/bYOiN1FlE3g/v-deo.html, this is a link to The Hound and The Fox channel, it is The Wellerman ft. Adam Chance if you'd care to react to it. Adam Chance is the Baritone/ Bass for Home Free. They are an a cappella group considered country, but they can and do all different genres of music. I call myself a PentaFry because I love PTX and Home Free much the same. Adam Rupp the beat boxer is a twice World Class winner for beat boxing voted in by his peers. It's amazing what he can sound like. Austin, the crazy looking one with sword has one of the sweetest voices I've ever heard. Robert, beard and mustache is a tenor and sounds like liquid gold, and then there is Tim, long and lanky with the beer mug is a bass that can make your teeth vibrate. Thank you for reacting to this, I loved your confusion at first, but you can't go wrong with reacting to anything they do. Again thank you, you guys made me smile. Had to add, If you haven't heard them, The Hound And The Fox are a couple that do covers and their own original songs, a lot is acoustical and/or just them. Saw all the guitars and think you would like them. 🎵🎶

The super low bass (Tim) is the Captain Jack Sparrow, then they have a baritone/bass (Chance) who started this song off, and a high tenor who was the dramatic pirate (Austin) and the one with glasses and bigger beard (Rob) is their lower tenor for the group.
Thx for the info Belinda! And yes indeed, so good I didn't notice it being his voice instead of a real drum set!
@@YBPlaysMusic When they do live shows they have to have a segment dedicated to Adam doing a literal drum solo to prove it is all vocal and live he well deserves the title freak of nature.
There are several fan recordings of Adam Rupp doing drum/beat box solos that are amazing to watch!
That sounds awesome! :p Yeah I'm sure he does deserve it! :p
Yes, please. More Home Free. The Home Fries will come flocking to your channel.
Thx Carla, yes I've noticed haha!
You would be amazed at the range all of these guys have.
They purposely set it up to look like Tik Tok since that's where this craze started. The logo is HF for Home Free.
I can imagine, only saw the range for the bass singer being like 5 octaves. That's crazy!
We love our Home Free guys, their catalog is large and really great!
This video was released during our quarantine, so individually. They wanted it to resemble tiktok . For the bass, try Misty Mountains with Peter Hollens and Tim Foust.
Thx for the suggestion Cheri! And they definitely did a good job with the resemblance to tiktok :p
I love Home Free!!! Do more from them because they are legend.
Clearly they are, thx for the support ;)
They were all in separate locations for this due to the pandemic. Tim (Jack Sparrow) is the bass, and he was standing in a very unstable boat in a yard. All of Home Free have a great time doing their videos, and their live concerts are very entertaining
Curious about their live performances as well! Probably for a future video perhaps :p
Oh, didn't know Avi joined them for a song! That's interesting! Thx for the suggestions Carla! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Home Free is one of the best vocal groups out there. The have Over 100 video's
This is one of their many quareenteen videos they put out.
Jack Sparrow is the bass you hear and Adam their beat boxer is about the best there is.
Haha well you must indeed be a huge fan to have watched over 100 videos of them! I really like them as well! But yeah, only 1 video in. though haha.
You're entering an awesome rabbit hole if great songs! Enjoy the ride! I haven't been disappointed yet and I've watched A LOT!!
Tim Foust has a 5 octave range in his voice. If you want to hear him singer higher I recommend Mayday.
@@helgatornkvizt5412 5 octaves?? Wauw! That's pretty impressive! :p thx for the suggestion! And yes I can Imagine :p
@@helgatornkvizt5412 No! Don't ask them to watch Mayday until they've seen some of the others. The surprise is so much more fun if you wait!
I love Home Free!!! Hopefully you check out more of their stuff! All acapella so it’s all just vocals and beatboxing! I suggest watching their version of “Can’t Stop the Feeling “! And definitely bring Yourin along!
Good chance we'll do more of them indeed!
Haha you probably mean my friend Jorim? :p Thx for the suggestion!
@@YBPlaysMusic when you hear more of them, you'll understand why they have such a loyal following !
@@miamidolphinsfan Haha, perhaps, but I can already kinda see why :p
Allow me to give you a somewhat brief introduction/overview of the group:
Adam Rupp - main founder and vocal percussionist/beatboxer phenom.
They (home free) have all kinds of covers and originals, as well as their own record label.
Thx so much for al the info Seth! Always nice to learn about separate members of a group!
@@YBPlaysMusic anytime. :)
There are 2 guys that do Bass in this Group! Chance, the main singer in this medley of songs and "Captain Jack Sparrow"! These 2 Singers have a 4 Octave Range and a 5 Octave Range. More information to follow!
Just subbed - looking for more Home Free reactions! Ring of Fire, Man of Constant Sorrows, American Pie with Don McClean - and SO MANY MORE!!!!

Welcome to Home Free... This done so kool.... Home Free is the wolds all male country vocal group... They do so much more than country though.. Love everything they do..

'How Great Thou Art', is my favorite from them
Thx for watching and for the suggestion Poetic! ;) I'll see which one will be next!
@@YBPlaysMusic You are correct. 😄
Pentatonix and Home Free are the two best accapello groups.
Well, so far, I haven't heard a lot of other a cappella groups so I can only agree haha
Watch more Home Free.
Especially, “Man of Constant Sorrow.”
Thx for the suggestion Emperor! I definitely will do more Home Free ;)
Welcome to Home Free! Check out man of constant sorrow, end of the road, when a man loves a woman, can't stop this feeling
Thx for the suggestions Sheila! Really appreciate it!
It was also filmed at each of their homes during quarantine, across the US
There video work is outstanding you must watch some their quarantine songs you will be impressed
I assume this also was a quarantine video? :p but I'm definitely interested in more of their work!
Thx for the suggestions and all the info! Thx, really glad you enjoyed it! Probably more Home Free in the future ;)
Loved the song.
Likewise

Thank you so much for the suggestion and the info TaLaAnt! Sounds interesting indeed!
@@YBPlaysMusic Hi! And how interesting it will be to "sounds" Diana, you still have no idea. :)
Thx for the info, Beth! I'll definitely do more of them! Glad you enjoyed it! :) And thx for the suggestion ;)
Come on down the Rabbit hole with us .You will not be disappointed 🤯🤯🤯❤️❤️❤️
I'll definitely do more Home Free stuff in the future so I guess I will :p
Some Home Free recommendations;
"End of the Road" for something not country
"When a Man Loves a Woman" for a little romance (Quarantine)
"Folsom Prison Blues" for a different take on a country song and some great bass (Quarantine)
"How Great Thou Art" for inspiration and some beautiful video
"The Butts Remix" or "Country Fried Pop Medley" for humor
"Mayday" but don't listen to this until after you get to know these guys
"Blue Ain't Your Color", "In the Blood", "My Church", "Ring of Fire", "Man of Constant Sorrow" because they are just fricking great songs.
Thx for the suggestions Steve! I'll see which ones get suggested the most! But eventually, I'm gonna do more videos from them as well I think! :p
Check out their version of ring of fire
Now that's a country song haha :p Perhaps at some point I'll do that one, but don't know yet. Already quite a few suggestions, so I'll see :p
They are AMAZING.
I don't know how many songs you have reacted to of Home Free, but this group is very versatile, here is a break down:
the collective abilities of this group.
-- 5 lead singers
-- 5 tenors
-- 3 baritones
-- 2 bass
-- 1 basso profundo
-- 5 beat boxers/vocal percussionists
-- 1 EXCEPTIONAL beatboxer/drum kit/ vocal percussionist
-- 5 proficiency for genres: (Pop/Country/R&B/Rock/Gospel/Rap/Blues/Musical theater/Comedy/Holiday/Doo Wop/dancers-in- training 😉 )
The process of elimination to find out the bass singer is painfully hilarious 😆
Home Free is amazing! Everything by them is 🔥! Enjoyed your reaction.
Thank you so much janet, so glad you enjoyed it!
Homefree is an acapella country group! Adam does all percussion with voice only
Home Free is their band name and the logo is the band initials HF. And yes it looks like the tiktok logo. They also won the Sing Off the year after PTX.
Indeed, a lot of Home Fries informed me about this haha :p thx Yvonne!
Thx for the info Amy! :) I can imagine, when he goes that low with his voice, you can practically feel it :p Also, thx for the suggestion!
Thx for much Regina for the support and the info. And indeed, I'm thoroughly informed already haha :p And there's no lack of suggestions either :p
Chance is the NEWEST guy in the group!
I just subscribed!!
Welcome to HOME FREE
HOME FREE is a county A Capella band that does more than country.
Right you are, I'll see which one will be next ;) And thank you for welcoming us! Also thx for the support MarLa!
Please enjoy home Free they're amazing! Check out MLive, Adam rupp's drum solo is ridiculous. Love you guys nice to meet you
More Home Free please!
Thx for the suggestions and info Theresa! Though fellow Home Fries already informed me about them ;p But thx anyway :p
Rob lundquist is opera trained. He did classical singing in college. He has not sung opera in fifteen years. Listen to two cowboys try to sing opera. You’re in for a treat.
Home Free is:
Earlier Years Chris Rupp (usually wearing a Cowboy Hat & always smiling) and Adam Rupp, the Beatboxer founded the Group.
He's also won several Beatboxing Championships to boot!😁😁
Now to Tim, the Group's Bassist has a 5 Octave Range so he can Lead the Group as a Bassist or a Tenor or something in between!
Thx so much Roger for all the info! Yeah it really helps in future videos, that I know a little more about them!
Adam, the beat boxer is , I believe , a 2 time world beat boxing champion, and he does quite a bit of the arrangements for the group.
The logo was made to mimick TicTok but with the Home Free logo. But great reaction! Please keep them coming!! :D
Yeah I heard about that indeed! :p Thank you Chrissy, I'll definitely do more of them! Can't say when though haha :p But stay tuned! ;)
Great reaction! Home Free is great! Hope you will react to more of their songs! Can't stop the feeling, diamond dreams, how great thou art or flowers on the wall are great songs to listen to!
Subscribed btw!
Thx so much Jan! Yes, they are! And I definitely will! Thx for the suggestions!
Another homfredian gem. Fun.
Haha yeah, some home fries also said they have a lot of funny videos! I'll see which one will be next! Thx for the suggestion yo!
Another great A Capella group that did a Sea Shanty lately did a Viking one (it has been on Viking and Assassin's Creed apparently) called My Mother Told Me and it will get stuck in your head. Oh, almost forgot the group - Voiceplay.
Haha yeah, was searching for the name of the group but then you said it at the end of your comment haha! Thx for the suggestion! ;)
Spends 8x the time pausing and chit chatting rather than listening
Austin (sword guy) - High Tenor
Rob (Moustache Guy) - low tenor
Tim (jack) - Mega Bass
Adam C. (Guitar) - Baritone/Bass
Adam R. - Beatbox
Thx for the info! I was already informed by a ton of Home Fries but I appreciate the comment :p

I would love for you guys to watch/ react one of Home Free’s live version of ring of fire! It shows Tim’s range!!!!
Jack Sparrow AKA Tim Foust is known to blow out with his bassiest of bass voice 🤣🤣
The guy who started the medley is the new guy to the group. The Jack Sparrow is the Bass.
Yeah I've read that indeed, and that he sometimes takes over the bass when Tim does a main vocal part?

Did you hear the castanets in Santiana? Tim Foust has a five octave range. Adam Rupp is a two time world champion beat boxer. You need to go onto the squirrel nest (full of nuts). It is recommended that you wait till you know the members before you hit Mayday, but you won't go wrong on any of their songs. Most people do either Ring of Fire or Man of Constant Sorrow first.
Yeah, I believe I did hear those in his voice. I assume I mentioned the beatboxing at that point! :p Thx for the suggestions Debbi!
You have to watch Man of Constant Sorrow!!!! It’s AMAZING!!!
If you like the drunken sailor. Check out the version from SeaQuest DSV when Chief Crocker starts singing the shanty onboard Seaquest.
I'll see what the next one will be, but you can rest assure there will be more of Home Free ;) thx for the suggestions!
Tim Foust is the very low bass, in the Jack Sparrow outfit. But what's weird is he can also sing a good low tenor (but not in this song). During such times, Chance (baritone) covers bass rather well.
Chance, is that the first guy in the video?
@@YBPlaysMusic Yes. I really like his voice for those lower lead parts. He does a great job in American Pie.

They just put this out a short time ago, they made it from their homes. So much great music here for fun " Butts Remix" . Enjoy
Thx Beth! We'll definitely enjoy more of Home Free in future videos! ;)
Tim Faust (the one whose dressed like Jack Sparrow) is the one singing bass
Thx Carl, as you, there were many Home Fries that informed me about this :p though, we figured it out by the end of the video haha :p

Thx again Teresa for suggesting Home Free to me! We had an awesome experience watching this video!
Thx for the new suggestion! I'll see if and when I'll be able to do more of them and perhaps do The Hound and the Fox as well.
By the way, later today I'll post another PTX reaction ;)
So glad you liked the video!
