- 2007 yamaha oil leak problem thru exhaust bad muffler n gaskets due to heating up going on thru exhaust port causing flex in aluminium casing (Marins boat repair shop rio bravo texas)
thanks for the video man. I have a 2003 Yamaha F225 which I believe has similar issue. compression is good, but I found water in the oil. I'm thinking the corrosion kit will fix it, what do you think?
I think it will help it new gaskets should do the job
I got a lf250txr, noticed a lot of oil in my intake manifold coming from the breather hose, also i get a sheen of oil when im in the water, i removed power block, i see oil in the exhaust on the block. The oil pump is new no oil leaks from that section, any idea where its leaking?
Bad lower power head gasket could be bad
What is the compression looking like cylinders should be all over 120-150 psi above if cylinders are low and plugs are over excessive in fuel or oil or could be that some of your reeds are broken or stuck open allowing decompression to escape through your intake check compression and reeds valves
Yea I sold this motor got me a new 250 sho 😂
I have a 9.9 leaking engine oil from exhust, could be the same issue? and how to fix it? thx
Could be the bottom power head block gasket or if motor is used in salt water can be the corrosion eating away at the cast aluminum casi or gaskets as well if motor is 4 stroke and smoking while running use the yama lube (ring free ) from Yamaha could be stuck piston rings allowing oil to sip through causing the smoke and unburnt oil . Has your oil level gone up or milky if so power head gaskets will be needed
I have a 30hp mercury and recently found oily liquid leaking from the exhaust hole on the lower unit, close to the bottom after each round of run.... I think it happened after I have changed the brand of oil (mixing with gas), I’m going to change back to previous brand and give it a try...any thoughts? Thanks!

what if my 2 stroke does this a little
Can't say it's fine only that the corrosion will start to eat away at your metal gaskets or gaskets that will create more problem on the long run or short run water doesn't lubricant metal but can cause to much friction at the crankcase or rods and bearings bud my suggestion is to replace gaskets necessary

Title should be Yamaha sucks
😂 I agree to some extent some Yamahas are ok but let's be honest all engines fail at some point some sooner than other some old skool motors last longer than the new crap that's coming out
@@marinsautoboatrepairandbod3126 they all suck because they're all Yamahas, I read all about these corrosion problems, basically Honda, mercury, and Suzuki are all Yamahas. The same engines, and Yamaha never fixed these corrosion problems. They supposedly "fixed it after 2006" but there's another video with a 2009 with corrosion problems. They use a shitty alloy aluminum block prone with very thin walls so after 5-10 years of use you need a new engine
The maker or factory are skimping out on good materials and start using cheap metal or casting aluminum that Easley starts corroding
@@marinsautoboatrepairandbod3126 you know any outboard that don't have that problem cause they all Yamahas. Evinrude?
