I’m shocked that omega is thought to be harder than chronodia in the psp version as it’s easily the most difficult on a casual run. I was about level 50 when I fought it and it’s regular attack one shot me every time. Although now that I think about it the run probably faces the weakest version of it and not the strongest so that makes more sense.
IIRC Fast/haste doesn't increase action speed but hit rate giving more attacks from the fight command, it doesn't get it's expected effect until Final Fantasy IV.
Love the concept of analyzing speed runs in such a unique way! Had to like and subscribe to see more of these series, and in hopes to see more similar ones!
Those things were definitely the source of most of my game overs or the need to flee back to town when I did my first NES FF1 playthrough last year. I'd owned the game since I was a small child but never beaten it and figured it was well past time. WarMECH was a joke compared to those dang Sorcerers.
This is fantastic! Excited to see the rest of the series as you make it!
Fantastic video, very excited to see more of these as they come out.
Lovin your work champ, excited to see the next one ❤
Great video, can't wait to see more

Love the idea of the video. Gonna drop a sub and look forward to more!
The speedrunners use step-routing to cheat the true masters of NES FF1-- R. GOYLE, SORCERER, MAGE, Fr. WOLF, and MANCAT lol.
