hi hal. took a break from guitaring and to grocerty store in my Leaf EV which I've had for 5 years. Never ONCE have I been to dealer or car repairman for anything. Like an electric refrigerator. What's to do wrong? less than half as many parts as ICE cars. So don't even mention EV repairs. Its quiet-I love solitude and peace. Its like a jackrabbit off the line so if you need to avoid a collision, punch the accelerator and presto, collision avoidance. $7500 credit off the purchase price thanks to tax breaks that we all get in one form or another. Get one and wake up every morning to a full tank of fuel. And check out the brilliant NEW Beatles release Now and Then and reach for the Kleenex. On youtube with a documentary also to watch about how it came together. Thank you Yoko.
You can fix those cars because you get used (know) to it. These new cars, electric or not. Nowadays they have computer control it. That part, you can't do anything. Other parts, it's the same with your Camery. For this car (or other electric car), it has a (huge) battery that runs the motor witch runs the wheels (controlled by the pedal). Like the power window on your other car. You push the button, and it goes up or down as your comments. There is nothing to be broken. There are no engine nor cooling systems, exhaust system, oil pump, alternator/electric system (spare plugs), and you don't even have a catalic converter to beware. The rest is the same with your most modern car. Nothing different, they function the same even uae power from the 12v battery that you see under the hood. Actually, it has fewer systems to be broken down.
Enjoyed this video. Also enjoyed watching you without a guitar in your hands. 😂
Hey Bob. Thanks!
All you need is a "Hal Scale" and give it a rating, and you're a regular Automotive UA-camr! Agree with you about the manual windows.
Hi Ed, ha ha! Thanks for watching. I'll think about the Hal Scale.
@@quailstudios That was me. I was signed in on Ed's account by accident. Sorry.
@@ModelA You make me laugh Paul. So you were trolling on another account! I'll be careful.
