I've had my eye on this one, because Superman the Ride is my favorite Intamin and in my top 5 or 6 overall. Better restraints on Hyperion, but I tend to prefer 2-across seating, sitting low to the track. So I'm not sure if this would top Superman for me, but I hope to find out someday. It was nice hearing your take on it.
Hyperion. One of the best hypers ever. Energylandia already has so many good coasters and this in their top 3. It's so unique for a hyper. It's open, feels like Skyrush but not as bad. It has an inversion. Several banked turns. As well as airtime. Tha low to the ground turn is something I really really want to experience as I looks very intense. Also I love that name. Seriously a fantastic ride I want to get on.

My issue with the queues weren't the amount of time I spent in them. I completely understand if a park is busy. My issue was the physical lengths of the queue lines and how there was no way to bypass them if there weren't many people in line.
Just got to Energylandia for the first time. Hyperion is fantastic, particularly the drop and first hill as you say, but is just missing a bit of "je ne sais quoi". I think most of the elements are a bit formulaic when compared to Zadra, which I think is the clear no.1 in both this park and Europe
Does anyone know the reasoning behind the insane long queues in Energylandia? From a guests perspective they seem pointless and a waste of precious parktime. And what exactly do the turnstiles accomplish?
Hyperion's queue line does save space by going vertical, but the lack of a cut-through is frustrating. Zadra's is puzzling. The turnstiles are designed to make sure every seat is filled. It does a good job of that. The downside is that groups can get split up and you aren't guaranteed the seat you want.

Without the roughness it would probably be one of my favourites. I always got an outer seat though, it may not be as bad in the inner seats.
I went again yesterday, and this time I managed to get the inner seat. Unfortunately I have to say that Hyperion simply has too much discomfort for me. The older I get, the more I dislike heavy ejector "airtime" - which does not feel like airtime for me, because I just get slammed against the restraints. The more weight you have, the more you get slammed against the restraints (yeah, physics). So overall, the ride has a fantastic first drop, then starts to beat me and rattle me to death. I absolutely prefer the B&M hypercoasters with their majestic floater airtime hills. And for me the best Intamin coasters in Europe are still Expedition G-Force and, yes really, Juvelen (didn't ride Kondaa so far though).
This ride was just a letdown after the incredible showing that Vekoma made (I liked the Vekoma layout better than every single version of the Intamin layout), then the layout just got worse, I consider this layout to be the worst one as it got rid of the twister section, that while inferior to the Vekoma one (the one on the Vekoma layout was a thing of beauty), looked decent, but instead its garbage compared to the other concepts shown. Honestly this ride and the path that Intamin has gone down with imitation and Golden Horse level ripoffs, on top of their inital layout being outclassed by the Vekoma have resulted in me placing Vekoma above them in terms of companies, also Hargid's can just be demolished, Dragon Challenge deserved better.

That's fair. I enjoy the violent airtime still.
I done this, and this ride sucks... the 2nd camelback barelly has floater. Kondaa beats this coaster by a mile, it barelly makes my top 10😅
Sounds like it must have run really slowly for you.
@@CanobieCoaster yes it felt like that :/
This ride was just a letdown after the incredible showing that Vekoma made (I liked the Vekoma layout better than every single version of the Intamin layout), then the layout just got worse, I consider this layout to be the worst one as it got rid of the twister section, that while inferior to the Vekoma one (the one on the Vekoma layout was a thing of beauty), looked decent, but instead its garbage compared to the other concepts shown.
I thought this was still a very strong ride.
What do you think about this ride in terms of smoothness, pacing, intensity, seat selection, capacity, and queue line?
The queue isn't fun, but the ride is excellent.
On how many rides and coasters did you find turnstiles? Examples:
Energylandia and Mirabilandia have them.
The restraints on Hyperion are the same as Taron?
Similar
I think Hyperion's queue line looks long
It is.
