I love how home made and crafty this looks. I've seen washi tape DIYs where everything was so precise and measured, but this is way cuter in my opinion and even less expensive.

Such a smart idea! Love it. I'll bet your washing adheres better than some of the store bought kinds. TFS!

Great way to create personalized washi, just a thought, I use a short 6 inch ruler for firm tearing along edges and to terminate a washi tape edge. 😀 thanks for sharing

I think you could put a yardstick on top of it and tearing it would be really fast and accurate!

you should be cutting with a straight edge, and an exact knife for clean precise edges! you could even turn one strip into several thinner strips

+Avianka16 I'm not precise kind of crafter. But please feel free to use a Straight edge and knife if you feel so inclined. I love my DIY Washi tape as is. Thanks for watching:)

Lisa Brannan I brought the tissue paper from the dollar tree. But you buy tissue paper for Wal-Mart, Michaels, Tuesday morning. You can also use napkins.

If you take a straight edge ruler you can just rip the paper and it will be straight.

The 1700 and 1800s are very inspiring to you; slavery, oppression, lynching and the works! I'm shocked Shemi.

Repurpose Mania Ugh. Not everything has to be racial. What era, if any, should people of color enjoy and feel inspired by?
