Oh my gosh! This is so much easier than the tutorials I've been seeing where you used Scotch tape, immerse it in water, let it stand for 24 hours, rub it off, etc, etc. This is so much appreciated, and the tutorial is so good! Thanks much!
This fabric tape video is great and very helpful. Some say that it's "technically" not washi tape--that may be true, but you can use this like washi tape for so many craft applications. Great for trim, background and embellishments, and even as a journal book binder. Such a versatile technique! Thank you
I will definately be looking for this wide thin tape. just made my first "washi" tape today using the thin double backed tape and tissue paper. Could use the wider tape with fabric to strengthen spines of coffee dyed paper. THANK YOU
What a great idea as a fun raising event which is happening at our school. My daughter and friends have to raise money which is split between two charities and I think the book mark idea was brilliant so going to give it a go myself and then she can sale for the event at school to the pupils xxxxxx
you probably dont give a shit but if you guys are bored like me atm then you can watch pretty much all the latest movies and series on Instaflixxer. Been streaming with my brother for the last months :)
+Lori whitfield It is carpet tape so anywhere they sell carpets. But you can also use double sides sticky tape that you can buy anywhere they sell craft supplies.
Using fabric isn't really making" washi tape" washi is thin translucent almost...this would just be considered a custom tape wouldn't you say? I say it's a good idea just misleading title...
You're not cheap, you're frugal! Frugal is a lost art. And typically found among creative minds :) Thank you for sharing!

I’m a note taker for people with disabilities. I’d love to use this tape as surprise decoration on the pages. Thank you

Wow! The duck brand carpet tape is now $10! It went up $1 a year.
After bonding the fabric, can shapes be cut with the Cricut or would it ruin the blade? Thanks for the video!
Thanks so much. I do have one question. I wonder how I would go about printing on this? Have you tried that?
