I wasn't going to watch this cause I have plenty of washi tape. But I am glad I did. I really enjoyed the video and now if there is a tape out there that I am having a hard time getting, I can make my own! thanks for sharing!
This is very cool! Thanks so much for sharing. Now all i need to do is get me a nice wood grain stamp like that lol. I have to say the pink wood grain was my favorite. Nice Job
Fantastic idea, great as well if your a thrifty crafter also with this idea you would never be stuck again if ever you needed some washi type tape ..... xx Thank you for the share :o)
Dear Kathryn, many congratulations for the super idea. Pls confirm me if the tissue paper is the "rice paper"? Thank you very much and 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 from Italy
Thanks for the tutorial. Just wondering, why wouldn't you be able to keep the tissue on the backing of the tape? Affects the stickiness of the glue? I am just envisioning getting myself totally covered in tape...LOL :) Mercy
thanks for the tutorial. Couple of questions. Where do you buy the miracle tape and is it cheaper than Scor Tape? Also, could I use distress inks instead of the stains, or even mists for the background? I only have one distress stain but I have a lot of mists and distress inks.
Great Video. Love Miracle tape. but i'm a bit bias as I'm on the Viva Las VegaStamps! DT. :) But besides that has been the only double sided tape I ever used n my 20 or so years of crafting.
When I did this, my tissue tape looked all crinkle once I put on the stain. How did you get a smooth look for the tissue. I even used my Pampered chef scrapper to go over the tape to smooth it out once the tissue was on but it didn't help completely.
This is so unbelievably cool! You totally just blew my mind. I don't think I'll ever buy another roll of washi again. Thanks so much for sharing!
This is so cool! Nice cheap (free if you keep your wrappers from gifts to recycle) way of making gorgeous unique tissue tapes! Must try this.
