Excellent review Shahpar! My son is headed to college later this year. I've been debating between the Lenovo Slim 7i and a Macbook Air. It would be great to see a little more in-depth info on the gaming performance. It's great to hear that battery life is 10 hours.
Thanks for watching! Thanks for the feedback about the gaming portion, Ill see if we can do anything to make it a little more detailed. With that said while neither laptop is meant for gaming the Slim 7i being a windows PC will have far more compatibility with games. On the other hand the MBA will out perform in the battery life department by a long shot.
I've been looking for a new laptop for over a week now, doing research everyday. I found a ton of different solid laptops, but they all had drawbacks that didn't really fit in with how I planned on using my new laptop. I found this laptop for sale today for $850, and after watching this review as well as a variety of reviews, I'm completely sold. The CPU (I'm getting the core ultra 7), the high RAM and storage, and INCREDIBLE build quality are all things I would not have expected from a laptop around the $800 price point! This is an amazing laptop for my use case, and this is an even more incredible review. Thank you so much for this, much appreciated!

I'm strongly considering this model for photo editing. Do you have any experience with this machine handling Lightroom classic and Photoshop? I am not a professional level photo editor and the 16 GB / 512 SSD should be fine but I can get the 32 GB / 1 TB SSD from Costco for $350 more. I can probably manage dumping images onto a portable hard drive now and then to save cost. I thought I saw on some older reviews that this was a two-in-1 tablet. Not a deal breaker but the thought of a 2-in-one with a stylus pen could be handy now and then. Do you have any thoughts about this machine handling photo editing without much issue and would it be better to spend the extra money for the 32 GB / 1 TB performance?
