I sorry
should be.
No. No you're not.
didn't you release this one day too early though?
You forgiven - lol
@yamafanboy5514 4:05 it's currently 4/1 for most the world's population including where this tool was made 😅
As a Makita guy with over $8k in team teal tools, some over 10 years old on the OG batteries, I was SO EXCITED, then devastated, then relived 😂
The second I saw the number I knew something was up.
Agreed was like it doesn't even keep up with the half inch I have :/ but then see it's a knock off .. was excited for nothing lmao April fools a day early I guess
Truly a Roller Coaster of Emotions.
@@Jihadbearzwithgunzmakita has a new 1 inch coming out soon 4000nm
@@user-ge4dx8bh4g waiting to see it.. that's some big numbers my old lxt does what I need for automotive reasons 4000nm is crazy talk .. like the bolt is either coming off or being ripped off with the nut
wtf, you got me looking at different websites like acme tools, ohio and home depot, and even makita's website catalog until mid-search i realized it was april fools. got caught with my pants down. lol
Makita is gonna sue somebody…..
@@jhansen6180was just thinking the same. He’s gonna be the next guy with his pants down lol.
You should label it "Fakita"
Lol why
@@mikekahotea8148 did you not watch the video? It's a fake Makita...
@@DudeItsRobertyup I saw that lol now I see the label fake-da hahaha nice one
Milkita😂
In my language "kita" is slang for a phallus 😂
Since we're measuring work over time isn't this the Horsepower Test Channel?
It's not a function of work and time or rpm.
@@TorqueTestChannel Time to start adding HP to your charts!
The torque here isn't really comparable to what your cars engine makes. It's basically how much it can tighten a bolt in fwd or rev. Which is why a small impact wrench can "beat" a 4 cyl engine. Different metrics.
We do measure watts output sometimes and that can be converted somewhat.
@@yamboy666they have watts for circ saws, grinders and drills...755w/hp or 748w/hp(din) if you're european
Except that name sounds like shit.
What a great video! Not gonna lie you had me in the first half... I couldn't believe how low the output was and sure enough😂
You got me, despite already watching and knowing beforehand it was an april fools vid lmao.
I can only imagine that someone in Makita's Marketing & PR had a heart attack when they first saw this😂
Casually mentioning chainsaw swapping because that's a thing everyone does over a weekend
The "BL" on the hammer case is usually a dead giveaway that an impact is one of those oddball Chinese brands
It's the Chingrish abbreviation for "Bang-Lo."
The "BL" is a makita logo. Its on their brushless impacts. Im pretty sure the channel put the BL sticker on this.
I knew something was off when i saw the font of the BL on the front🤣🤣🤣
Yeah lol
I use the Milwaukee 1” D-handle to put on my Toyota Corollas oil filter and oil pan drain plug
Dont forget a healthy serving of red locktite to go with your oil change
I think the factory does too, so good on ya for following specifications.
I only turn my drain plug in half way. The drip trail is how I know its got oil in it.
As you should!
The mode selection on this one is the best Makita copy yet. Actually had me fooled.
And here I was excited for team teal.
The batteries sure do let me down, but I like how they feel in the hand the best. Makita spends a lot of time on R&D for all day usage.
On a Sunday!? Sweet!
Monday in my part of the world 👍👍
On easter sweet, love this channel. Great knowledge and delivery is perfect.
Hi my name is Bob and I'm the CEO over here at Makita. Our attorneys will be in touch with you soon. Happy Easter tho!👍😐
To send him a real one, I hope
Makita’s ceo is Sean Okada
@@Itsthedyldozer Nope, Sean got fired. We caught him using a Ryobi impact driver.😐
Bob sounds very Japanese
Ain’t gonna lie you guys had me going😂
You've been at this quite some time for a 4/1 spoof! Well played!
Who else knew it was a fake-ita by the missing model/info tag😂
Omg, u got me. I was about to cry because of the low numbers 😂
That's a really elaborate one, I applaud
Thanks for the heads up. I forgot about the whole thing today.
The first sign was Makita releasing a new lxt tool. Good to know China and TTC will make them instead.
After that last one ... if Makita made this, it probably wouldn't be much better.
hope the drill impact wrench attachment you guys have been working on has been coming along well.
Dear @Torque Test Channel,
I love your videos, and it is quite interesting to see how tools perform.
One Thing that I think would be interesting to see are how "accurate" torque wrenches and torque keys are. In the latter also thinks like the Wera 7510 and 7515 witch are adjustable.
I was looking all over UA-cam for April1st videos, and stumbled on this on. I, being a die hard team Makita fanboy, jumped on this video. I was like; WTF, my 3/4 40v Makita will blow this thing away. Well, TTC, you guys got me, real good too. Well done. 😂
So I admit U got me. I'm a "Dork Test participation ribbon receiving champee-in!" So still a fan of "The Beans" tho!
Could you please test the new Ridgid 3/4" torque wrench. It did awesome on other channels. We like how thorough your testing is.
Sunday Bonus lets gooooo
You're the Best TTC, that was awesome. Happy Spring, I hope this year continues to be good for you. Hilti Nuron angle grinder is the best angle grinder btw, same price bare tool as current Fuel offering... . Just sayin'.
3:35 was M. Night Shyamalan levels of plot twists. I laughed so goddamn hard. Thank you.
you got me because you posted a day early, well played
God damnit it i was actually hoping for this one. Great play
You mentioned molybdenum disulphide as the grease, is that what comes from factory? I wanted to grease up an angle grinder gearbox and the factory grease is NLGI grade #00 and clay-thickened which is less viscous (and very expensive) than lithium and molyb grease at NGLI grade 2 and apparently won't circulate well and just get pushed to the side. I'd really like to know if these grease grades make a performance hit, I'm sure they do. What are the greases that are equivalent to those from factory, and what are those that are better than nothing? I've been refurbishing some Milwaukee stuff and I really want to use the most performant greases because from what I've ready, the lithium and molyb grease I have isn't the right stuff.
I would absolutely love the 1" Milwaukee. I don;t have anything to use it on but I need it anyway!
I'm wondering is there any way to modify the 1" Milwaukee so it makes higher numbers in reverse instead of forward?
Bonus episode this week! NICE :)
Ohhh you jerk lol so sneaky coming in there with the "Makita"
Has the 3/4 ridgid impact been released?
The problem with the inefficient power draw might be due to the motor not having Halleffect sensors and not having full torque ant startup and under load
What grease is best used for impact hammers? Do you know how this blue one would affect things in the long run?
Well done ttc, you fooled team teal, due to us all waiting for the holy grail of 1" cordless impact gun, will it be 36v or xgt 40v when and if it eventually arrives on the market ?
You had me looking online as well
That's a committed investment for a joke. 10/10
I mean, I guess it's technically April 1st in a couple of time zones.
Oh I know this episode is going to be full of beans
Could you test the new makita xgt 40v 4.0 tabless cell battery.
Knew something was up when I saw the tool only had 2 pins for the battery
Just had an idea for a review, those gunsmith style in/lb torque wrench screwdrivers, such as Real Avid, Fix-It Sticks, & Wheeler make. I could not find a decent comparison of these tools.
Not gonna lie, you had me in the first half.
I was just looking for something to turn the handle on the meat grinder. Happy Easter to everyone.
2:07 “470 ftlbs, well that’s a.. number. And out of all of the impacts we’ve ever tested, this is.. certainly one of them” 😂😂😂
For breaking Makita-lovers hearts.....we salute you!!
p.s. Next year do the Bosch dorks.
One of the reasons they list breakaway torque maximum torque isn't actually everything because when you're busting and nut loose every individual impact needs to be enough energy to budge that nut a small amount.
This might be a great tool more than you think so. That size hammer is going to deliver a lot of energy in every blow. So for really rusted and stuck on parts that's more likely to break something loose then a smaller hammered impact that reports a higher maximum torque.
Almost got me but the darkened aluminium finish on the transmission is more typical for their 40V tools. The 18V ones are brighter in colour.
Even Makita himself Was imoressed and proud.
😂
NGL i was a tad suspicious when you showed both sides and it didnt have the normal model/specs plate on the right hand side.
Should've known something was up when we got a video on a Monday...
You do know it's not the first of April today right?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Depends on where on the map you are
It's April 1st in the eastern Pacific. 🤣
April 1st here in Japan, and as Makita is from Japan... 😁
It's April Fools somewhere
What is the story with the EWORK battery? Are they compatible with different brands?
With makita. And it's a better battery than makita makes output wise
Cool. Next question, what sort of label maker or whatever did you use to make the "Makita" sticker? @@TorqueTestChannel
I've used that 1 inch milwaukee. It's pretty good
Good one! Hope the Japanese calendar will protect you....
We need the newest Chicago Pneumatic full size air wrench added to the list please!!!!🙏🏼
2 questions.
1 what do you think they use in space? Like do astronauts use pneumatic impacts to maintain the ISS
2 do you think the result of the dyno test depends on who is holding the impact driver?
Bro, good one, you defo got me 😂
If u can, u should Swap seesii internals into a Milwaukee or something related.
Nice.... Awesome Mehkita!
U got me.....happy Easter everyone
What a great video.
doesn't the dcf961 make more power than the milw 1 in dr?
Yeah I double checked on some older TTC videos.
Well I did not see that coming
The first four minutes of the video were really confusing. I saw "Posted 4/1/2024" in the title, but then I checked the upload date, and it was March 31st. I thought it was a review embargo thing lol. Seemed like it was indicating that it WASN'T meant to be an April Fools video. What a rollercoaster.
DCF961 STILL ftw 🙌
Got me really good I was genuinely so dissapointed in makita for a second
Where have you been? Makita lxt has been legitamtely sucking for awhile now.
God damnit. I finally thought I was through all this shit. You got me. Take my angry upvote.
Can u try the 12ah forge on the 1inch Milwaukee? Since u said u thought that thing was getting too little power from the batteries
I thought that was not out yet
@@riba2233 i dont know just wanna see that
@@basw265 no worries I am sure they will test it as soon as it drops ;)
@@riba2233 defo hope so
I feel like I just got punk’d but strangely i’m the one laughing 😂.
It was like a rollercoaster ride w/ anticipation/expectations that got sucker punched by disappointment only to realize the punch missed wildly leaving a pinch of laughter & relief.
Snap On 3/4 vs Aircat 3/4 vs IR 3/4 test?
Love how I got reminded it's 4/1/24😂
😂.
“Well it’s a number!”
I love stuff like that guys!! It's great performance, CHEAP!
Hey, it’s not April 1, at least where I’m living!
Awesome video thanks for sharing
So I work on oil rigs, and I use a 1 inch drive ratchet a lot. After about 20 times using with a 10 ft cheater pipe. I'm about to switch to an impact.
DCF961 vs Milwaukee 2863 make it happen
Well its still the 31st here but it feels a lot like April the 1st
i love this video
You got me!
Awesome
They better upgrade 18v batteries
Edit: You got me....
And a LXT witch a lot of people have as to the 40v Makita is not widely used in my area
I can find LXT all over in town but have to get all the 40V stuff online.
He had us the first half not gonna lie
have you tried over volting an offering?
Milwaukee with 24v stacked lithium. Yes. Spicy
yup, ya got me.
Great job pullin a "Fast"one...That ain't so fast..
You got me
You Def got me
Well Fcking Played. Super Well Done, you got me good 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Omg you got me so good
