Mike, the SM, was legit. The rest of the guys couldn't fog a mirror. Thanks for the new video Tomi.
To be fair, the Sales Manager is usually salaried, actual has the power to make deals and in some dealerships only answers to one person. The Sales people usually do not have the power to make deals, answers to many people and usually works on commissions, thus has an incentive to nickel and dime you.
@@craigfin3222lol what? No sales.manager is salaried 🤣 they all have a draw just like salesmen and have a total gross commission , just they get paid a lot more and front and back
Just curious, why not always go straight to a sales manager? They are the ultimate decision makers, seems like a waste of time talking to the sales reps most of the time.
@@TelecomDr - They want the salesman to do the dirty client interactions, in hope that they don't have to deal with them directly. If the customer is a tough negotiator, then the closer (Sales Manager) comes into play.... It's just the system. Not necessarily right or wrong- just the way it is.....
@@danc9440 this is not the reason why we have sales managers. lol
Mike was badass, that's great sales manager. Man knows how to move product without the smoke and mirrors. People would love buying cars, if it went like that.
I called Kia dealer on car. MSRP was 36,000. Sell price was listed at 34,985 They gave me out the door total of $43,000. The sell price was $38,880. I asked why the difference and they said it’s all dealers accessories that can’t be removed. I said why not just put $38,880 online. No comment.
Because they’re scam artists. I saw a Hyundai niro for sale in LA with a $7k markup plus $4k worth of dealer accessories
I've seen this often.
It's simple, strike through all the optional BS. Tell them you're paying MSRP, straight up or walk. On my 3rd dealer it finally worked and I was in and out in like an hour. And this was at the height of the shortage in like 2021.
Best car person I've heard at the end. Wow. What a salesman.
My wife and I recently purchased 2 cars and had the best experience! I was calling around everywhere and getting the run around, then finally I called this dealer and the manager said to me”listen, I don’t like the managers from XXXX locations, so you come to me and I’m beating all of their prices by a better margin.” I was able to get lower than MSRP for both of our cars with their Memorial Day interest rates!
“Mateooooooo, how’s it going ?!” Why do you elongate people’s names when starting convo as if your some kind of tv personality. Sounds stupid and unprofessional.
Most salespeople are as useless as lint. It's something no one cares about and is just tossed away. I have been looking for a new car for almost 6 months now, and these "steelerships" annoy me like you would not believe. I told many of them to go pound sand with all the games they play. One day soon, we will be able to buy a car online and have it shipped to your house like Amazon with zero markups and add ons.
Pretty sure there will be a delivery fee, like pizza, but the depreciation feeling on the toilet happens way further down the line
It seems pointless to employ sales people if they always have to 'talk to their manager'. They're a waste of space. Just employ the manager, and discount the vehicles with the money you saved by not employing useless salesmen.
Totally agree. Most of the time, I see the salespeople just sitting at their desks messing with their phone.. completely useless.
YOU DID IT! X as in X-ray is the correct word! Lol 🎉😂
Dude ... I so Enjoy your Clips !!
What is the rest of the 10,000 off question?
Think Lando first Time using the PC
last guy was pretty good. No clue how first dude has the job, snooze fest.
If only we can clone the SM Mike and staff every dealership with him.
What was the end result to this negotiation?
I got a new TX for MSRP OTD - I felt that was a good deal
It is all about speaking skills, accent, and style. Zero math skills necessary just like President's job! All about show off
like the content here quite a bit - is there any way you can get cleaner audio for the dealers on the phone? It can be so hard to hear so I usually tune out
I am working on it. Trust me.
I can’t even understand Landon.
😆Poor Landon. Great edit...would have loved to see Tomi diving into a heart of darkness, madness scene in between waiting for the salesman to get back to him.
LOL I love this idea!
If the price is already lower than MSRP let’s say 3000 off which is almost 10 percent from the MSRP. How low can you haggle? Is it possible to lower by another 3000 ? Thanks.
Usually msrp on Toyota is like 4-5k higher than invoice
Love that Tomi greats the sales person as if he knows it from a while ago and some of them think twice before answering lol
Be like Mike.
Do you have any tips for dealing with the Finance office, I've had good luck negotiating and agreeing on a price, but dread the finance office. My last experience in the finance office, after listening to their speech on extended warranty, gap insurance and all the extras, I respectfully declined everything, but they would not let me go, to the point that they told me not to buy the car and to leave. I ended up leaving the office and tracking down the GM of the dealership who got someone else to let me pay (I had my own bank with a rate they couldn't beat). I understand the finance manager and dealership makes nothing if I don't buy extra stuff, but I just wanted to give them my check and be done. The stress of the finance office is what gets me, please do a video on how to navigate that piece as I imagine many people sign up for extras just because the finance manger guilts them into it.
I can make a video, would you guys like more tip videos?
so if you ask to speak to your salesman again, and then tell the salesman, your finance guy here is going to blow your sale as I am 2 minutes from walking out. ....I am pretty sure once you have the price of the car, it is highly illegal to tie the sale to anything else...
@@Delivrdyes please
@@elliott3991they could care less 😂 the finance is above them , they’re just puppets , if u don’t like the price and the stuff they’re saying , be ready to walk
@elliott3991 Yes, that is what I did, the sales person tracked down the GM to get someone else in finance to accept my check. I would like to avoid this stress in the future, it is not fun to have to be pushed to the point of walking out when all you want to do is pay. In my experience with 2 cars in the last 3 years, it is the finance office that is most stressful. I gather this is where dealerships make huge margins and put their top sales people. Doesn't do much good if you get a few thousand off of MSRP and then get pressured to sign up for extras you don't need. These finance people know every rebuttal and are high pressure sales, they make their money from pushing you, it is like after you agree on a sales price you then get put into the high pressure finance sales box. I'd really like to know how to avoid this, I want to pay cash or a bank check and be done, not hours of additional high pressure sales.
I just bought a honda pilot exl got 2.9% for 36months
😬 0 is “zero” a number! O is “Oh” a letter!
When will you be going live again 😊
We are moving this week, so I am doing my best to go tonight or tomorrow!
Good luck with the move Tomi 🎉🎉
3:05 - Mateo thought you might know him.
Buying is easy getting a good price not so much
Your videos are amazing. I really like it. I am a new subscriber to your channel. Can I talk with you Delivrd?
What's up?
@@Delivrd good u
Tomi, is invoice out of the question now a days ?
@Sensei_88_ thanks
What is the MSRP? Less 4% plus I give a 4.7/5 review on your web site. Take it or leave it......😅😅😅😅😅 and no add one.
Is this all you do?
WHY WOULD SOMEONE PAY YOU $1000 TO BUY A TOYOTA !!!! ANYONE CAN NEGOTIATE DOWN TO MSRP... IF THEY CAN'T THEY DO NOT NEED THE CAR.
@Sensei_88_ THEY DO NOT STRESS ME OUT I STRESS THOSE BASTARDS OUT. I HAVE NO MERCY ON THEM. AND GETTING 4K OFF IS LIKE TAKING CANDY FROM A BABY.
Did no one ever tell you that typing in all-caps is rude and considered to be screaming?
@@johngalyon8934 DID ANYONE TELL YOU I DO NOT GIVE A SHIT @@@@@@!!!!!! U

no one asked. also toyotas are dreadfully boring inside and out. you were better off with the cx90
Tommy, don't be so patronizing just speak like A normal person. You come off as cocky and arrogant.
Why don't you start your own channel instead of being cocky and arrogant and trying to school Tomi??? You're out of line.
