One scene that means more is Tony and Nebula playing football and when Tony asks Nebula if she's having fun...she pauses. Partly because I feel as if she doesn't know what that means.
This is so heartbreaking and depressing... Nebula deserves so much better!!!
it's even better when you realize that Tony wants to be a father and that Nebula has always wanted a proper father figure
Also nebula gets to win for the first time in her life she beat someone.
@@Reggie_bringit Wow, missed that, thank you. That is beautiful. Something that stays with me too from those scenes is when he offers her the last of the food they have and she declines and gives it back to him. Two characters who traditionally were centered only on their own well-being both elevating someone else's needs above their own. Love this movie.
agreed, this was one of my favourite scenes in the movie.
I think the cheeseburgers scene is all the more effective because it's not just Happy mourning his friend and promising to be there for his child, its also Jon Favreau doing the same for the character and the franchise that he kicked off
I couldn’t have said it better myself and I agree completely
You’re a fucking idiot if you believe that
Blue Eyed Tech you are an idiot too
Cheeseburger scene is overrated. I'm still emotionally affected by Spiderman crying for Tony in both Infinity War and Endgame.
Gary lee. I don’t think you know what the definition of a movie is. LOOK IT UP. If you do not feel connected by characterisation and by everything a good movie does, it is not a good Movie
*Thor catches Mjolnir and Cap catches Stormbreaker*
Thor : "No no give me that, you get the little one"
Jay Nigma no it was no you get the smaller one
Least we know Cap was worthy of both!
Then Cap did a little hop and said "YES!" before running off
@@AmyBlackRoseCena Anyone can pick up Stormbreaker
Part of the reason Thor said "take the little one" was because without the worthiness enchantment, the only person who could channel lightning was Thor. Thanos could lift Stormbreaker, but he COULD NOT summon lightning/thunder with that weapon. By telling Cap to take Mjolnir, he was sharing his power. Allowing Cap to wield lightning and thunder.
Avengers Assemble was the moment. That was the moment that was my favorite in the entire mcu
RykerDavis oh yeah. I shivered when I realized what was coming then, and it was warm in my theater.
@@nicholasfarrell5981 agreed. Seeing my favorite superhero of all time; spiderman, swing onto screen next to my second favorite; cap, was to much and i cheered
Totally got a chill when he said that
That was probably my second favorite. When I heard Sam say "On your left" just before all the openings appeared I got chills. It was amazing.
That was so satisfying, got goose bumps from that!
In the part in "Age of Ultron" where Cap actually moves Thor's hammer at least a little I think that there was a bit of deception on Steve's part. I think he was worthy then but CHOSE not to lift it. I could be wrong, but I think that's what Thor meant when he said, "I knew it!" As in, he knew that Cap was worthy all along but simply chose not to lift Mjölnir until he had a real reason to do so out of respect for Thor.
Also, why did Natasha not get a funeral too? They could've at least mentioned her along with Tony. I mean, she did the same thing he did.
Not really....
She made "the sacrifice play"..
I think because at that time he was still keeping a secret, he was not worthy. The secret being that bucky killed starks parents. Only once the secret was out and caps conscience was clean, was he worthy to use the hammer.
I think it had to do with why he wanted to use it. In the comics it was mentioned that part of worthiness is wanting to use the hammer to help other people in battle.
They confirmed it you called it
I seriously almost lost it when Spidey and Tony reunited. My eyes filled up with tears 😭
I almost cried when spiderman told tony "mr stark you did it we won" and was in tears like a son losing a father it hit me in the feelz hard
@@juslab yea man!
Right? All I could think of was “not againnnn”
My eyes were unable to fill up with tears due to all the preceding tears already accommodating that space thanks to the rest of the movie.
It pays off the "fake" hug Tony gave him in Homecoming. "I'm not hugging you, just getting the door. We're not there yet."
They got there in the end. My God, did they get there.
I never thought I'd hear cap say "hail Hydra" ever.
@Optical Clarity what tf are you talking about?
What I wanted to see was Nick Fury arresting the late Gary Shandling's resident DC sleazebag & whisper in his ear while shoving him into Fury's vehicle "by the way, Hail Hydra, m*********r!)
@@scotcarr3390 Gary was the guy widow kicked off a roof right?
@Optical Clarity Dude, Hollywood breeds SJW's, which I'm damn proud of being (Massachusetts born & Liberal bred 4 life), so I tune that shite out. You know better. Even if Chris brings that stuff w/him, keep the frakkin' real-world crap out of stuff like this.
Oh, BTW, Excelsior & Hail Hydra!
@@furionmax7824 Nope. Can't remember the actor's name, but the fella she knocked off was deep cover Hydra mole Jasper Sitwell. Yep, I have no life...🙄
I am the only person who laughed in my theater when I saw the elevator setup scene.
Lol I started getting excited!😝 I do like how they changed it though!😁
I thought it was gonna be the elevator scene again I got excited
John Doe thankfully, my theater was also cracking up.
Same here
I didn't laugh, but I did involuntarily say out loud "Before we get started, does anyone want to get out?" Which made the actual culmination of that scene so much better - my expectations were subverted, but not in a Last Jedi kinda way!
Your mental health messages often seem to hit right when I need them. Thanks.
It came outta nowhere, huh?? Did something happen to a member of Whatculture or what??
That makes two of us, thank you.
3 cheers
Where is the monent when T'Challa calls Clint by name asking him to pass the Gauntlet, which is an obvious callback to Civil War when Clint tries to introduce and Panther says "I don't care"?
I loved that bit
Слава Пермяков yeah it basically shows that while T’Challa didn’t care at the time, he did care enough to remember.
Why isn't anyone talking about the fact that Wong never got his tuna melt?!
Give the man his sandwich!
Mike Droz but hulk got his Hulka Hulka Burning Fudge. lol
You really think he went STRAIGHT back to the Sanctum after Dr. Strange got beamed up in IW? That dude totally went back via the deli.
I bet he didn't get invited to tony's wedding
Lmao
" Tony , there was no other way "
Dr Strange knowing full well it would cost Tony his life for them to win
And Tony didn't even hesitate to sacrifice himself when the moment came...
☝
🇺🇸👉⚡🔨🆙️
The ultimate irony - Tony Stark couldn't understand why on earth Dr Strange would sacrifice half the universe to "save" his life - when in actual fact he was merely ensuring that his inevitable death took place at the proper time.
I don't see why Tony had to be the one to die. There was really nothing special about how he got the stones away from Thanos anybody could've did that. Captain Marvel could've done it and survived or hell maybe Thor!
Dr. Strange had a personal vendetta against Stark for busting his balls in front of Spiderman and when they landed on Titan he picked the 1 future where Stark sacrifices himself and kills Thanos.
There's no way outta 14 million possibilities The Avengers only win 1 and Thanos wins the rest lol. Strange is a motherfucker LMFAOO
When Thor said I knew it!! I started dying lol. My boy Cap is finally worthy😭
I choose to believe that he was always worthy and was bring nice to Thor by not lifting Mjonir in Ultron
@@Celebriel82 or the gulit of not telling tony that Bucky killed his parents
@@Celebriel82 yeah thats what i thought that he just chose not to lift it in age of ultron and he was saying i knew you were faking me out as who is more worthy than cap
He was always worthy, Thor knew, which is why he was surprised when cap didn’t lift the hammer before.
You missed "Activate Kill Mode" lol
Hey, man. I don't cry often, but did so about a half-dozen times throughout the length of the movie. And you throwing all these moments just brought tears to my eyes again. And I about lost it when you reminded me about Cap wielding Mjolnir.
"YES!..I KNEW IT!"
Best motivational scene EVER!
Thanks, WhatCulture. You just cost me the price of another movie ticket 'cuz I'M GOING BACK FOR MORE!
2008: I am Iron man!
2023/2019: I....am......ironman.. (Clicks fingers)
Actually endgame was set in 2023
I am groot!
@@omalor I'M BATMAN!
@@MisterW0lfe oh we're using our made up names, I'm spiderman then.
@@arafe.1012 did u just disagree with yourself? 😂
Ant mans reunion with his daughter is the only bit that made me tear up.
But Antman is my favourite character and also I can relate to his daughter in the moment.
Thank you for the mental health message. I was moved by your kindness.
I took hulks dialogue at the end as words of wisdom
How long is it going to take
5 seconds for us but for him as long as it takes
Life goes by quick, sometimes may even seem like a few seconds, so take you're time and enjoy the little things.
Super Cop Out scene homeboys quitting the MCU so they did that trash
I loved it, maybe I'm a sucker
@surfitlive it kind of seems like he doesn't want to renegotiate so it's kind of like he quit. But I guess they could bring him back to his normal age with the first transporter thing. It's kind of like they threw that in there just in case They bring him back
Black Widow never tries to lift the hammer. She was worthy all along.
MrBazBake this totally happens in the comic books.
You don't think she had too much red in her ledger to be worthy?
@@nancyfalcon2796 she cleared it.
He whispers Hail Hydra to Jasper Sitwell not Pierce.
And Pierce was not Senator, he was Undersecretary.
This guy needs a proof viewer: He also got it wrong at 7:36 saying that Sam is the one to say “on your left” when Cap. wakes up at the end of Winter Soldier, but it still Cap. saying it; Sam only says it in Endgame.
@surfitlive ha!
Thank you!!!!
Man, when I heard Cap say 'Hail Hydra' to Rumlow, I thought 'Nice nod to Secret Empire!'.
word, me too
Did you notice the "I knew it" part when he lifted mjolnir? Nod from fear itself before he fights Sin.
Peggy wasn't meant to be such a big character and yet she was oh so vital thanks in large part to the charisma from Ms. Atwell. She became so important to the over all MCU story that when she died.... we all shed a tear at her funeral.
Must have missed Pepper saving Tony and Nebula, thought it was just Captain Marvel.
i was thinkin the same thing
I was suprised they gave her her rescue armor
Brie Larson: only I saved Tony Stark thank you verrry much!
David Jarkeld I guess she helped nurse him back to health.. Maybe thats what he meant?
Two errors I noticed...
In CA: TWS, Cap said “on your left” to Sam when Cap woke up at the end. Also, “Hail Hydra” was whispered to Sitwell, not Pierce, in “Endgame.”
Beat me to it
Dahlforever • but did you watch the video? That’s what my comment refers to.
Mike Droz • Great minds think alike.
Ok I'm not crazy then lol I was like I swear his name is sitwell
I know it may have seemed slightly cringy, but including the line about taking care of urself if why I love this channel ♥️♥️
Am I the only one who noticed the actor playing the Yakuza boss fighting Hawkeye/Ronin is the same actor who played a Yakuza boss in The Wolverine?
no I did too. good eye thought buddy
I thought he looked familiar
Yup! I caught on when I saw him. Probably was the only one in the theater that gasp
He’s not a yakuza boss he’s the son of t Yashida the person Logan saves at the start of the movie, do better next time
Hiroyuki Sanada
These are great! What about the scene where old Steve gives the Captain America shield to Sam? Very powerful & symbolic!
Saddest bit is Pepper Pots realising Tonybis about to die, smiling and telling him that they are all fine and that he can rest now. Powerful. I’m crying now...again!
Next video: Avengers: Endgame Scenes That Mean *LESS* Than You Realise
Steve made out with his niece. Sweet home Alabama
Like what?
so i guess most scenes, considering the time traveling stuff just made it very easy for them to just retcon shit in the upcoming movies :D
Missed your videos man! And as always thanks for saying what you say at the end.
Jules, thank you for the way you end your videos mate, your optimism and encouragement to people is great to see from such a large channel.
Cheers for being rad
Mathew Bonser yes that was awesome. First time seeing one of his videos. I thought he was going to end by saying buy my product like everyone else does. Good stuff
All I'm gonna say is,
"It's an earthquake...in the ocean."
Everyone I went to cinema with: Ah it's nothing. Me: Hello Namor.
NNNNAMOR!
@Jorion ~ They haven't put anywhere near enough Marvel super-villains in the MCU to do Secret Wars yet.
@@JakkFrost1 depends on the version. There are 2 arcs called "Secret War", and many remake variations of each. The more deep and meaningful of the 2 is the secret mission to Latveria that later bites them in the butt. The other is literally just the prime Marvel timeline/reality versus the Ultimates version. The former can be done after the Fantastic 4 movie, and the latter at basically any time.
Nobody has mentioned Tony calling Scott 'Pissant'.
Lmao that had me rollin
6:01 it means even more when you realise Bucky says “I’m gunna miss you” (as long as I’m remembering this correctly) so Bucky knew what Steve was going to do, there’s no other reason to say that Steve would only be gone for a few seconds otherwise and the fact Bucky sends Sam over rather than going himself to speak to his oldest friend to me means either Steve told him the whole plan or old man Steve made contact with Bucky at some point and told him what would happen in the future
It's easy to be cheeky. Sencerity is hard. You made it look easy, by being genuine. Thank you for that left-field and brilliant turn in the closing moments. You made me tear up....you daft bastard.
Great great vid Jules, well spoken throughout and nice msg at the end
My favorite Endgame video you guys have done. Good shit man
Me: plz let iron man live
IRON MAN DIES
Me: well at least I still have captain America
Captain America retires
Me:😭😭
And yet.... were those two moments not the most emotionally satisfying and fulfilling moments of the entire MCU thus far? Oh the Irony!
@@cristonsloan I was hoping they would have kept Tony alive and just have him retire since he was married and had a daughter. Steve got the happy ending, Tony got the heroic one.
@@stephenschneekloth1535 Well put, I like that. Don't get me wrong, I'd be a much happier camper had Tony lived, but in context of his entire story and character arc, it almost had to be this way. From a brash, narcissistic, egocentric beginning to, as you so rightly put it, a heroic end. 😢
Thanks. Great Job. You brought back some good memories👍🏼
Pepper to Tony: you can rest now.
Damn.
Your video is awesome.....and your words in the last were just beautiful ❤️
The second time I saw Endgame, no one reacted to 'Hail Hydra'... I was shocked, one of the most epic MCU moment.
Same. But most people are casual movie goers and haven't even seen a comic in real life, so it kinda makes sense that they didn't get it.
Great video and a wonderful message at the end, take care guys and keep up the great content Xxx
Tearing up a little talking about Cap's final moments in the film, Jules? Adorable :) ...I enjoyed this piece of yours and your colleagues' very much. Endgame was truly something, as are you all, nice to watch your work during this extended weird time as one navigates how to be one's best self. Thank you for your uplifting messages at the end of your video presentations. What kind, cheering, caring, warm thoughts to offer your viewers. Bless!
I really love the bits and the end of your videos saying to look after yourself actually really helps bless you xx
Thanks for your final words Jules. It's nice to see a genuine shout out to your fans who may be struggling. Especially if that shout out comes after your one per.
He just say hail hydra to avoid long confrontation with hydra soldiers
Jules's kind little pep talks at the end always seem to come when I'm having a down day and it makes me smile. Thank you for that.
On your left was my favorite moment in the entire movie, the way the music cut out and everybody came back when Cap was on the brink of defeat gets me teary eyed every time!
"Gamma radiation, the substance..."
This is mildly infuriating
"I Am Iron Man"
-Ozzy Osbourne
I loved Thor's reaction to Cap using Mjolnir, because it shows how much he's changed. In Age of Ultron, he seemed to be worried when he saw Cap might be worthy. He didn't want someone else to be worthy because it would hurt his pride. But in Endgame, he gets excited because he's proud of his friend. He's become a lot more secure in his own worth.
I love that last bit, man! Keep on rockin' that message as SO many folks need to hear it!
No matter who you are, no matter where you are, there is someone wanting to help you get through the rough times.
Really nice vid, brother. Good job.
Just seen it.
I cried like a baby at Tony Stark’s funeral but, just as I got my shit together, they showed Cap and Peggy having that dance and off I went again!
Hulk/Banner's "it's like I was meant for this" actually pays off a short conversation from the first Avengers movie between Banner and Stark on the Helicarrier. Tony mentions the amount of Gamma radiation should have killed Banner, and Bruce concluded that Hulk saved him for some unknown purpose, and Tony just said "I guess we'll find out"
At the time, we just assumed it was to become an Avenger and be a hero, but Endgame changed that to mean he was destined to use the stones and snap everyone back.
On Hulk, in Avengers Tony says to Banner that Hulk saved Banner from the radiation for a reason.
Thanks for making me feel much better . The video was great but the send off was inspiring.
Pepper was to one that kept doing "the superhero landing"
Cap said “Hail Hydra” to Jasper Sitwell. I also think it was Cap who said “On your left” when he and Sam were in the hospital at the end of Winter Solider.
UA-cam moments that mean more than you realize:
Jules truly cares about your mental health and well-being.
what i loved is that Thanos has that double ended sword that is so strong it broke chunks out of caps shield and then scarlet witch comes along pissed off as hell because he killed Vision in front of her in a way and means he wasn't coming back break it rips off his armour and is on the vervge of killing him to the point he has no choice but to rain fire killnig most of his army so destract her
Wow. Your message at the end hit me where I needed it. Thanks man
Wow dude, thanks. I did not expect that last little gem of your consideration for the viewers. I appreciate you.
Great video. Brilliant ending. Salute you Jules.
The real Hero of Endgame, the guy who saves everyone, is Chang, the guy who lets Ant Man out of the cage.
nah man the rat is the real hero!
Favorite part was the Hulk with the Ancient One.
I know you'll never read this Jules, or the rest of you hard working dedicated members of the Whatculture team but I honestly really needed that last goodbye sentiment from Jules. It meant a lot to hear your kind words after the thoughts I have going through my head.
Thank you for your support and gratitude towards your fans. I suffer severely from mental health problems and videos like this gets me through the day. I also hope all you other fans enjoyed Endgame and are doing well.
I really appreciate your note at the end, it's nice to see you all genuinely care about the people who watch your videos. Keep up the great content and be well, yourselves! Much love
Honestly, I love how Jules looks out for people and says what he says at the end of the videos randomly. It makes me feel really good. His demeanor just seems very genuine. Easily one of my favorite youtubers. Thanks Jules.
i almost cried when Tony said i love you 3000.
You forgot that in the last time travel scene where Cap chose not to return, when Bucky and Sam saw Old Steve sitting on the bench. In the comics, both Bucky and Sam become the new Captain America at one point in time. In that scene, Bucky tells Sam to go ahead. That scene had way more meaning than any recap video gives it credit for.
I could’ve sworn Cap said, “Avengers Assemble” during the final NYC battle of the 1st Avengers. The famous scene where the camera spins around the whole team as they all cover each others’ back, ready for that final defense and push back.
I guess I’m wrong...?
Thank you for the message at the end 🙏
I needed that
I knew from Age Of Ultron that Cap was worthy. When I saw him carrying the hammer I was like "I Knew it" And then Thor said "I knew it" omg I loved that scene.
Good recap! I only knew a couple of these.
That ending really touched my heart, love y’all 🙏🏼
Why did you end the video like that? Not gunna lie ir brought me to tears.. "People care more than you think" thanks Jules it really meant a lot. I appreciate that
Thank you so very much, your comments as always, are interesting and well shared. And your closing is touching.
I am loving you new sign offs. it is great and positive. Keep up the great work
Thank you, Jules. I really needed that pep talk. I'm going to talk to a friend. Thank you again.
The cheeseburger line has even deeper meaning to RDJ. At his lowest point when doing drugs, he bought a Whopper and knew he had hit rock bottom. He said of the burger, “I have to thank Burger King, It was such a disgusting burger I ordered. I had that, and this big soda, and I thought something really bad was going to happen.” and then he cleaned up his act. I think getting one as Iron Man in the movie was a call back to that moment and an apology to BK.
I honestly wasn't expecting that friendly mental health reminder at the end of the video, but after a very long, difficult, and emotionally exhausting day, I most definitely needed to hear that. So, thank you! ❤
one that wasn't talked about is when black panther returns through the portal, he sees hawkeye and says "hey clint". a reference to their first interaction in civil war where upon hawkeye introduces himself and black panther simply says "I dont care"
#2 You missed a subtle point: John Favreau (the actor playing Hogan) directed the original Iron Man. I took this as a nod to John's contribution as much as RDJ's. Those two guys are really the two-headed father of the MCU
Your small comment at the end addressed at your audience taking care of themselves and asking for help if they need it just gained you a sub. Video was well done and interesting too, I might have subscribed anyway, but you reeled me in at the end.
Jules. Thanks for that message at the end. I’m struggling real hard rn and that spoke to me.i don’t know if I’ll ask for help but your words pushed my mind in the right direction
There were so many little moments in this movie that make it number 1 in the MCU for ME. All these listed here were definitely on my list. You have to be a true fan to catch all of them though and I appreciate the payoff. The whole time travel thing can get convoluted but I think they did a great job with it here
Iron Man - "I don't wanna see this on your Myspace page."
Endgame - "Don't post it on social media."
Bonus: The hammering sound after the credits is the same sound from when Tony worked on his first Iron Man suit in the cave in the first Iron Man movie. This also comes full circle and closes the story.
Not gonna lie that last bit you said hit home with me I have so many things I'm going through right now my life and health is a mess so thank you for saying that it gave me more hope well I didn't have hope at the moment you said that but it gave me some hope thank you again
To keep so many movies at a A+ level - incredibly difficult feat!
I loved what he said at the end because it's so true, people care more than you realize x
The feels, chills and tears..
Thank you for that last message of wellness, that means a lot.
Love the show
That message at the end is nice
The cheeseburger line was literally the one thing that made me shed a tear
Thanks for that last bit.
