For Ragnarok, Taika pretty much gave them a half script and said "eh go fuck around and see what happens". Literally over half of the movie was complete improv and that's what made it so great. Taika let great actors just be great actors and do their thing.

To be honest, some of these weren't THAT funny when we first saw them but now that we saw/watched it on various memes from different platforms and we watched these scenes again here, they became really funny. The power a meme holds, makes any serious moments funny 😂
