Hello everyone, I wanted to tell you that I think your Commander rules are awesome. It's just a brilliant idea that you give points for a Commander game and that if you take out all the players at once, it will be punished. Absolutely awesome. So the entire game is considered and not just the end result, but of course there is also some effort to keep track of the rules per player. Still: great idea.
Here to support #teamParnell!! And shoutouts to #TeamSuarez for joining the fun of making cool thumbnails... well either that or he was caught wiping the floor.
Crashing drawbridge from eldraine is actually a bit of an MVP for nylea. I run it in my nylea deck, just because I had it, but when youre dumping a tonne of creatures onto the field in one turn, or you genesis wave, tapping to give all your creatures haste is actually a huge effect! My deck is more budget, so seeing you run it in your nylea deck also is pretty cool!
Not sure if this was discovered in the episode, but Painter's Servant doesn't work the way you want with Sphinx's Tutelage. You'll only mill until you hit a land. Tutelage is "if they're both non-land cards that share a color".
I totally binged the whole thing :D and I finally caught up to episodes I haven't watched yet... :) Love the show! This episode was fun, I did miss Stephen The Homunculus God though.
Dan Matthiesen why? Who cares? It’s not that serious you don’t see all the cards in there hand so why do you care what the top of the library looks like
@@peewee130946 All players can see the top card, so it will influence their play. Im just trying to learn some commander stuff while watching good content, and knowing that top card is important info.
Last week: no ramp or control, game lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes. This week: all the ramp and control with no board wipes, game lasts almost 2 and a half hours.
I finally got to finish the episode and was good! I want to make a Klothys deck myself but it was interesting to see her as a sort of mill deck 😂 food for thought. I never saw a episode with these secret objectives people have mentioned in comments. Can anyone refer a episode to me with that in? Sounds interesting 👍
the game with secret rules are the april fool ep I think, where they do a regular deck with special rules cards sneak in by Kyle or silver border or some other whacky thing... as for a particular ep, look in the play list for the random ep with ??? in the title or that is different from the norm... ... ah, here is one: ua-cam.com/video/GFdVvmC5xpE/v-deo.html
If you use strionic resonator to copy Thassa's ability, attempting to target the same creature with both abilities on the stack, the copy will resolve, making the target a new object, thus eliminating the target of the remaining Thassa ability. Targets are declared upon abilities entering the stack, not upon resolution. Essentially, you can't double conjurer's closet the same creature in one turn. Am I wrong?
Where does one recommend a deck they think they should play? Cause I've fallen in love with this Atris, oracle of half-truths deck and I think the Commander is being seriously slept on right now. Here's a list for those unaware: tappedout.net/mtg-decks/atris-flicker-to-the-grave/?cb=1582168416
Justin I'm surprised you don't just auto-include one of the OG Eldrazi Titans in a meta like this. Kyle could have been Stephen piloting that deck, think of the horror!
@@pistoldance6978 He also had his hand (of cards) on the table next to his deck, so it kind of looked like he was picking it up. Had to double check before I was sure :P
Legit what is going on with this play group this season? There seems to be various tensions between certain players and now Steven isn’t here after the way it ended last week it’s not looking great. Maybe you guys need to have a meet or something?
Good idea. We'll be having weekly meetings and broadcasting them live on twitch.tv/starcitygames at 5PM EST every Wednesday. Should be able to iron out any issues there!
Jeremys playing mill and complaining the whole game and calling Justin a jerk like what is his problem this is supposed to be a fun game of commander. Does Jeremy hate justin or something?
I normally love the content but I don't think Jeremy or Justin had any fun once the old blue control engines got rolling. This style of draw-go does not make for entertaining content for the viewers so please, I beg you, reduce the number of counter/control decks you have on the show. I could barely finish this episode once Jon and Kyle started their stalemate.
I actually really liked this episode. Good amount of back and forth and everyone seemed pretty energized
They have to be on their best behavior with Kyle at the table lol
Kyle-" I'm gonna troll Stephen" *trolls himself*
The Pantheon of Probability!!
15:20 game start

Director Kyle did a great impersonation of Stephen for the intro photo shoot. :)
Stephen is always in first place in the fan's hearts
I have been cheering for Kyle this whole episode. Would like to see him implement another episode of secret/hidden roles
Here to support #teamParnell!! And shoutouts to #TeamSuarez for joining the fun of making cool thumbnails... well either that or he was caught wiping the floor.
Hey jon is joining Justin in posing for the thumbnail

He's an underrated Commander player LOL

They were looking for the Grindstone combo with it.
For the first time, the scoreboard smiles make the most sense, Jeremy has the biggest smile of everyone by being lightyears in the lead.
Even more so funny because Jeremy is not playing Simic, his favorite combination:p
I totally binged the whole thing :D and I finally caught up to episodes I haven't watched yet... :) Love the show!
This episode was fun, I did miss Stephen The Homunculus God though.
1:12:00 Justin has Triumph of the Hordes in Hand, just do what you must, and kill Jon to unlock your creatures.
2 minutes in and I already miss Mr. Green. Come back to me sweet prince.
Kyle is statistically the best commander versus player in terms of Points per game
From now on: First card in Justin's deck, eldrazi titan. Second card in Justin's deck, the other eldrazi titan! # aint getting milled again
Seeing the glare on Jeremy's top card while he had courser out, maybe you should consider using more opaque sleeves or changing lighting angles?
Navy Spheals or who cares

So?
Just saying it was a slog to just see Suarez win with a Suarez win con.
at 2:01:39 Jon mentions M Slivers?? What is he talking about, are there slivers that stop other slivers or something??
I have been waiting for a while to see some Thassa gameplay. Thanks guys!
This game was fun. Kyle did a good job with his deck. I think Stephen would have enjoyed it if he played it.
Nobody expects Jeremy's Gruul mill deck
Director Kyle is the Mario to Stephen greens Wario
Dude you guy beat Stephen so bad he disappeared.
Jeremy should have had a blindfold on for the game intro. Jonathan's Mic stand was great
Does anyone know what kind of sleeves do they use?
JOHN whats your ORM for curls?
I like how Jon didn't go for the extra values and copy his blinks after people put spells on the stacks.
How come no more link to decklists?

Puppet conjurer that is all

2x speed binge
I miss this intro music
Second favorite day of the week!! Humpday!! Commander versus🤘🤘 & Brawl on Arena I'll take what I can get?!?
Justin didn't mill when he took damage for 1 from jon
Lord I hate mono counter spell decks. Big fan of Justin's deck. Would have been great to see hivestone for a suprize sliver tribe!
Cade a decklist dos rapazes?
Why not call it 'The Pantheon of Probability'?
I wish Steve was in the episode, playing what he wanted
Justin I'm surprised you don't just auto-include one of the OG Eldrazi Titans in a meta like this. Kyle could have been Stephen piloting that deck, think of the horror!
So, like, Pantheon of Pandemonium?
Anybody else want to see Steven aand Director Kyle in the same Commander Game?
Lol, Jon, at the end of Justin’s upkeep. Justin, how rude.
When there's two mono blue decks at the table 😴
I hate blue because my colors red
Suggest FBLTHP, the lost for Steven Green. As season finally?
R.I.P. Stephen..
Atleast Green knows the interactions... usually, he just chooses to ignore them when he wants too...
Jeremy was really salty at Kyle this game
I always liked the Hidden Roles episodes if you need another thing to use the Randomonium again.
No black, no white, barely any removal, fun game.
Pantheon of Probability
To put it better: Is not fun when who plays are not having fun
Watching Jon play magic is lke watching paint dry, the onlyh difference the paint isn't loud and annoying.
Did Justin have season of growth in the 99? Because if he did he woild scry before all these draws
Pantheon of pandemonium
Pantheon of pandemonium!!!!
Yayyy director kyle!
Justin did not mill one after John attacked him (will edit with time stamp) Therefore, he cheated.
We're waiting...
As an L1 I can assure you that that's definitely not how "cheating" works in the game of Magic.
I have a fblthp voltron deck
Thank you for being such a beautiful person
Justin could just kill John so wouldn’t get mill in response
Jon played blue and won? Shocker! Seriously, another yawner of an episode due to Jon.
Klye forgot to draw off his first cast of his commander

Justin with the perfect response and the perfect first name.
Justin just smacked you into next year
Death&Taxes Or 2 How did he? Lol He politely replied and addressed the issue I raised.
Jeremy i love the way your play your decks and your style of play.
Jonathan you need to chill and stop being so mean and salty, your not funny.
Somebody needs to make a real Fblthp deck and not derp around with those dumb mill effects.
Director Kyle looks like Mayor Pete's hotter younger brother.
Jeremy still in the lead. #peopleschampion
Jeremys playing mill and complaining the whole game and calling Justin a jerk like what is his problem this is supposed to be a fun game of commander. Does Jeremy hate justin or something?
A mild punt for team green there.

Sad you don't seem to be wanting to do the plays anymore... maybe you should take a break or something? All players seems apathetic....
