I understand if you don't enjoy watching salt, but understand the situation before you piss and moan without all the details.
The only one to blame is John. It's not like Justin or Jeremy could have made any sort of impact on that, all of it was in the hands of John's Constant Mists and when he decided to play or not play it. And for the record, Steven has never done anything to John about it, but he specifically killed Justin in a later episode while calling out his "betrayal" as the motivating factor, and John has to this point never been given similar treatment. Heck, Steven was spiting against Justin and Jeremy this episode, instead of against John, the person who ACTUALLY left him for dead. This "revenge" is really just an excuse for Steven to justify being petty towards the people he likes screwing over (usually Justin), it has nothing to do with actual retribution.
Well news flash remember the horde video where Justin lost first and Stephen and Jeremy didn't do anything to help him gain more health besides Jon was helping him gain health and they just stood there and did nothing to keep him live and he didn't hold any judge in next horde video
Personally, I think this would have been better if they left the Curse on the Horde, then started attacking each other to try and get the 4 points of being the last alive. Then the Horde could have been more threatening without being so powerful that it is the only target.
I’d be pleased if this horde thing didn’t come back next year. Rarely will I comment negatively but this episode was not fun to watch. The infighting was not as entertaining as the players found it to be and the horde never felt like a threat.
Honestly that isn't really a problem of the game mode, yes they should play it more like archenemy where you are actual allies but you can't fault the game mode for Stephens random saltiness.
honestly the reason this horde didn't feel like a threat is because it wasn't. the old horde was scary because zombies have alot of lords that just stack and stack and suddenly all those 2/2 zombie tokens are really 5/5 deathtouchers. also with the horde randomly choosing who to attack each turn it never got a chance to really squash one player into the mud like the old horde did.

Question: "Who cares?". It's a group of friends who enjoy playing commander with each other. They're trying out new things. Let them play. Don't like the content. Don't watch. Simple.
I hate to say it, I really do. But watching Jeremy play just pisses me off sometimes. Everyone makes mistakes- I get that. Commander players, especially. But the sheer amount of times Jeremy makes simple mistakes is just insane. Creekwood liege makes a token each of your upkeeps- not just the first three. Additionally, they don't get haste. This may seem nitpicky, but in general I find myself baffled by the choices Jeremy makes, the attitude he has (Again, I understand we have lives outside of magic and our mood can effect our playstyle), and in general the way he handles himself at the table. It's actually become a running gag that Jeremy is always last place, Jeremy always gets the short end. Yeah, a few things left up to chance have been going towards him (Certainly more than the 25% that logic would state) but there is a reason that a lot of the things that would be bad for others are lethal to him. He just makes a lot of mistakes. This isn't a rant without purpose. I truly, truly want him to excel as a player. Years playing on CMDR Vs, week after week, make me think that he truly -should- be a better player by this point. But he needs to start playing. I don't mean "Don't show up to the table unless you try your best to slaughter everyone", but more like- Try to make a few less mistakes? Even just playing safe would be more entertaining than constant errors. Just my two cents. Still love you Jeremy, and all the rest of CMDR Vs (Definitely Team Parnell, Golgari is the best!)
Gotta remember Jeremy is king of fuckimg up and missing commander triggers even just any triggers in general even after how many years of playing mtg think he would know and get better by then lol
Stephen completely screws this game up by being a petty, vindictive crybaby. I kinda wish they'd team up, attack him and once he's dead finish off the game the way it was supposed to be played.
I am increasingly suspicious that you guys actually all hate each other. Almost every episode opening feels like walking into the awkward silence after a big argument. Still, good content, feel free to continue your secret feud.
Stephen and Justin to a lesser extent made this episode pretty much unwatchable, sorry, guys. Not really sure why Jeremy needed to be dogpiled (again) during a *team* format. The horde also wasn't particularly powerful, either, considering they were able to defeat them despite all that.
To be fair, Justin had a legitimate point. Jeremy is in last place, and therefore has the least to gain from all of them making it out alive, since if that happens nothing changes in the point totals. He has a very powerful commander with lifelink and vigilance, meaning the horde is never really a legitimate threat to him, and his board state continued to get scary. Meanwhile, the others were playing decks that were thematic, but not necessarily competitive. In a situation like that, it's fairly reasonable to assume that Jeremy might use this situation to pull ahead and kill off the competition at the table. It's not like he actually killed Jeremy, either, he just tried to keep him under control, and in the end they all made it out alive. Stephen is way more culpable than Justin, while John, the guy who instigated all of this by letting Stephen die in the first place, comes out smelling like a rose.
I agree I hate when people side with Stephen n make him the victim and say how other guys bullies him like he doesn't bully other guys more often then none more than other 3 do
Bruh if I was fighting the horse and an ally just blew up 2 commanders.....I might would just pack up and head out lol. Or jist ignore the horde and target that guy

What's wrong with old white men? If you said 'old black men,' I doubt people would be laughing. Just saying. I wish you guys just fought zombies and didn't bring politics/race into this. I watch this series to get away from that stuff.
Yes, how dare people have their own perceptions and thoughts, and how dare those thoughts influence the things they say in a casual setting? If you don't like it, go watch content more suited to your tastes. It's not like this was a 2 and half hour diatribe against white people or conservative politics, it was a single joke for all of 5 seconds. It wasn't even meant to be taken seriously. It's not like they said "white men" even though the joke was about the enemy being white humans, they specifically said "old white men" because it's an easy target for jokes. It's pretty clear that this isn't supposed to be alluding to any deeper meaning. It's just a joke. It's not like every episode they say stuff like this.
@@7MukuroRealm Yeah, I'll watch the next one. But hey, the comments section are for voicing opinions. If there aren't a ton of people down here with my opinion, then it's safe to say it's not something they should pay attention to. And even if there were, I wouldn't mind if they ignored it. I can stop watching if it becomes egregious. This is just a weird political jab to throw in there that obviously appeals to people on one side of the isle and alienates people on the other and I would really prefer that that doesn't happen. I don't want to feel like I'm being judged when I watch something like this for entertainment. That's all.
@@Umpapamowmow So? That's still their decision to make. They have every right to decide whether or not the jokes they want to tell are worth the potential loss in viewership.
@@adognamedsally Totally understandable. And again, it's not like stuff like this shows up all the time. The only times I remember were jokes about building walls and when John made the "Politics" deck. Personally I don't like political jokes in content like this either, especially if they begin to get egregious (the politics deck was a little too much) but I just sort of saw this as the kind of joke someone might crack in a liberal playgroup. As long as they don't let it get out of hand I don't mind an occasional joke every now and then, as long as it's a joke and not them actually advocating political stuff.

Gee, sure is fun watching Stephen ruin another episode by being a big baby.

I'm only 30 mins in and I'm already annoyed by Stephens salt. It's unreasonable.
That's Stephen for u that's what he is good at I wouldn't mind if Wes came back and took his spot at least Wes was interesting to watch
Stephen showing his phenomenal intelligence as well as defiling an Ishkanah deck. I seriously wonder why that potato is still on this show.
Idk I'm still lost on it too he definitely the most boring of the bunch way he acts
Replacing a zombie horde with the Republican Party? I like it!
@mabesch How much are you going to cry when the evil publicans win again?
Wow you could get away with saying all kinds of stuff in 1998 the internet truly was lawless back then
This is the only episode I've ever downvoted. And it's purely because of Stephen.
I agree I hate when people side with Stephen n make him the victim and say how other guys bullies him like he doesn't bully other guys more often then none more than other 3 do

SHAME"!
I enjoy all your videos, but you guys REALLY need to shorten video. I skip like half your videos nowadays trying to get to the actual gameplay.
12 ads later, oh they're starting lmao
@@7MukuroRealm Yeah, for sure. It's not like I want them to not be themselves either. It's a weird balance, because I like their candor and the fact that they seem genuine and everything, but it's also weird when things get political. And I would hate for the video to become about SJWs vs. Conservatives or whatever, when the reason we are all here is for Magic and commander in the first place.
Boring
