He'd probably be given to King's Landing for Joffrey to behead so that he can have the image of killing Robb himself. If the execution would be set after his wedding to Margaery Tyrell, he could either be: 1) released by Jaime as an alternative of his promise to Catelyn to save her daughters (Arya was gone, but he may think Robb would do to fulfill the other half of his oath) and have him join Tyrion and Varys to sail across the Narrow Sea and for Robb to be Tyrion's protector; or 2) he'll be snuck out by Littlefinger (less likely as Robb is more Ned unlike Sansa, but maybe he despises the Lannisters for Catelyn's death) and he'll be sailing with him and Sansa to the Vale. Robb could be one of his "gifts" to Sansa like in the books, where he promised Sansa Harry Hardyng, the Vale of Arryn, and Winterfell. Robb could be another gift in order to make Sansa think that she owes Littlefinger so much that she has no choice but to do what he says.
I think that because Jamie is the golden child and such a naturally strong fighter, I believe Tyrion would train enough to fight, but not be as good as his brother. I believe Tyrion would have studied more and possibly tried to emulate his father's tactics a little more than to be like Jamie. Therefore it would give more depth and well roundedness to the Lannisters.

Then Varys will send her to Meereen with Tyrion and it plays out from there. Possibility of Daenerys’s involvement at the Battle of the Bastards.
I have had similar thoughts about what a normal-size Tyrion would be like. Of course, his confidence would likely be boosted among "other" things, but we know that he would still be a second son until Jaime takes the oath of a kingsguard. Tywin might send his son Tyrion as a ward to produce a marriage alliance with another house. Ned's father Rickard Stark did it for him when he sent Ned to live with Jon Arynn. The Martells might have even taken Tywin up on the offer for Elia Martell, but she was quite a bit older than Tyrion. This timeline wouldn't have wanted to hold an alliance for years in waiting for a boy to be of age to get a child on a woman past her prime birthing years. He could have any other high born woman with his father's blessing.
Given the timing of when Tyrion was born. If he was still as scholarly and witty as he is in the books ontop of likely being a gold warrior. I think it’s entirely likely him and rheagar would’ve been best friends
What if Kevin never made a what if video? How sad would that be? Good video once again - loved it - what a difficult concept. I don't think I'd like this Tyrion - he'd be more like season 1 Jamie... who needs more of that?
Great minds think alike; I came to the same conclusion about Cersie( she'd "ride " pole is she found it attractive!😂😂)! Tyrion has a compassionate streak, that his siblings lack, so I think he wouldn't be as arrogant as Tywin or Jaime nor cruel, if he had grown up tall and handsome.
Paula James It has been mentioned that her attraction to Jaime is mostly because he is literally a male version of herself, not just a handsome brother. And she mentions how they have been together since the beginning, there is more of a connection that way. Although I suppose anything is possible especially if he was tall and handsome.
Another wrinkle in this scenario....Tyrion possibly could’ve been named to the King’s Guard along with Jaime, since the Mad King did it out of spite of Tywin
Before joining the Kingsguard, Tywin was in the talks with Hoster Tully to marry of lysa to Jaime, it's possible that Tywin would just insert Tyrion where Jaime was originally

What if the White Walker killed Sam and Gilly beyond the wall? What if Margaery Tyrell was never born (and Joffrey continued with his marriage to Sansa)? What if the Night King hadn't found Bran in the wierwood tree beyond the wall? What if Rickon and Bran swapped places? What if Jamie and Cercei had just ordered their armies to kill off the faith millitant when they did their staring competition in the streets of King's Landing? What if the Night King was never created? (What if the Children of the Forrest did not shove that dragonglass piece in that man's chest?) What if the continent of Essos never existed? What if Ned had bent the knee to Joffrey and not delivered him the letter denouncing him and saying Ned Stark should be King? What if the Night King was killed beyond the wall in season 7?
I'm glad you accepted the challenge! It's interesting to attempt What If scenarios based on human emotion from what you've observed/interpreted of the characters' behavior. Science, psychology & philosophy for the win. 😊
Hands down Tyrion was one of my favorite GOT characters and I was totally able to relate to him. Growing up, I was never really able to be athletic because of numerous physical challenges I had, so that caused me to turn to books and become an avid reader.
Excellent question. I don't think he would be acknowledged, BUT if he was...I'd probably say no, but frankly Tyrion may feel differently about Rhaegar's death if he finds out it's his his-brother.
Pretty much! I attempt to explain/describe sort of what that looks like and why it would matter, but this is the overarching answer and why I avoided this WHAT IF for so long.
Emperor Palpatine Robert still would of went mad and asked Rhaegar to fight him in single combat for her but we know that Arthur would of fought for Rhaegar
I'm sure He would actually trash talk Rhaegar to fight for Lyanna's hand not his kingsguards Kind of like when Littlefinger fought Brandon Stark for Cat's hand. Rhaegar would probably lose that battle as he did at the trident. This time though I don't think Robert would kill Rhaegar unless Rhaegar kept fighting.
Tyrion would learn acrobatics from his uncle gerion. Fight like oberyn with style and grace and skill. Learns swordplay from jaime to be a strong swordsmen. Marry into dorne as Tywin made the offer somwhat backhanded. Would not meet bron as he would champion himself with his skills. Could be warden of the east from casterly rock. Could still be smart as rhegar started as a book worm and then picked up the sword. Could also honor his mother by fighting for her after she died. Many possibilities. He could also not be captured by cat if he was a skilled warrior lile jaime
As for the bride, if Joffrey is still a monster and Ned still gets executed, it seems reasonably likely that it is in fact Sansa, consummated and permanent.
Great vid man, tyrion is a badass i really like how much analysis you put into theese vids. Have a what if suggestion em what if theon was roberts ward instead of ned starks? Great vid man
What if after Roberts rebellion the 7 kingdoms decide to go back to being independent like they once were before aegons conquest? So no more wardens just Kings e.g. king of the north, king of the west, king of the south, king of the east, etc.
w00t! U did it! Thanks man! Ya, I figure (excluding dragonbaby potential) that Tyrion is SO hated because Joanna died 'just' to bring a twisted little monster into the world. So in this scenario, even if she dies, its at least to birth more proper Lannister heritage. Awesome job! Cheers!
What if accidentally Margaery was killed at the purple wedding instead of Joffrey (for example she drinks from Joffrey's cup, because she didn't know about Olenna's plan)
Great video. I do veer off from you a bit on what I think would be different in Tyrion. But thinking it over, I would either have to do a youtube response video (which I have never done) or write a novella length comment, to cover everything. (which I wont subject you to) Glad you did this topic, it is a really fascinating subject/hypothetical.
Thanks buddy! Hahaha! I appreciate you thinking about the length of the comment. If you ever do a video, I'm down for it. Thank you for liking even if you didn't totally agree! :)
What if Robb killed Jaime Lanister when he captured him? OR what of Robb Stark took Jaime up on his offer of one to one combat and WON when he captured Jaime.
Saskia Mori killing Jamie probably would of been better he was 16 Jamie would of took his head of his soldiers if they went against and honour of single combat would of demanded his release but I think the northern Lord's would of killed him there
Judging by what one of Tyrion's aunts said about him to Jamie, Tyrion would literally be Tywin but younger. He is smarter than Jamie so Tywin may train Tyrion to lead more so than be a warrior
What if Ned had decided to leave Sansa and Arya at Winterfell instead of taking them south, yet the war still happened? What if Jeor Mormont sent Jon to King's Landing instead of Thorne in season one?
There would be no king landing because... The mad king enlists Jaime in the kingsguard to remove the the heir to casterly rock. This was only an option because one of the kingsguard had died. Do he would not be able to enlist Jaime and tyrion. This would mean when the mad king says "burn them all" no one is there to stop him or atleast there is no guarantee that the kingsguard with him would kill him. So...... Tywin would be dead!
I think jamie is a savant with the sword ontop of his training. He clearly has a level of natural gift so i think tyrion would still focus on the politics and more education. Tyrion i think would have alot of the conditions that turn him into atleadt a semblance of how he is due to living in jamies shadow
well Tywin had not been friends with Aerys ''the mad'' for a very very long time. for when Aerys grew in madness he began to hate and fear Tywin and thought he was plotting against him all the time. this was a very big course of his madness or well at least the fear was a big contributor. which is why he later forced Jaime to become a member of the kings guard. sure Jaime wanted it but it was his plan. because if he had Jaime close he could use him as a hostage because he knew that Jaime was Tywin's favorite child and also because he knew Tywin hated Tyrion so he forced Tyrion to be Tywin's heir to show Tywin who was ''boss'' but this only led him to fear Tywin even more and thus cause his madness to escalate. also Tywin have given hints that he liked Rhaegar far more and wanted him to succeed his father..

He could have any other high born woman with his father's blessing.
What if that lannister soldier didnt interrupt (sorry for my grammar) Ned and Jaime lannister's fight.
What would have done Robert?
Given the timing of when Tyrion was born. If he was still as scholarly and witty as he is in the books ontop of likely being a gold warrior. I think it’s entirely likely him and rheagar would’ve been best friends
What if rob took down the freys before the war and forced them to submit to him like he wanted to.
I think when Tywin find out what his first two were all about, Tyrion would of been pushed to the best son spot for sure hahahah
What if mance rayder bent the knee/joined stannis
What if shireen wasn't burn by melisandre
That'd be good to see done.
Mo Da I heard that neither of this happened in the books
If Tyrion wasn't born a dwarf?
He would have been Tywin's favorite
What if Kevin never made a what if video? How sad would that be? Good video once again - loved it - what a difficult concept. I don't think I'd like this Tyrion - he'd be more like season 1 Jamie... who needs more of that?
What if young gryf was in the show. How would things play out till now?
What if Aegon Targaryen adopted The Old Gods rather than the Seven?
What if another Valyrian house survived the Doom?
Glingy Venom You mean other than the Velaryons, Celtigars, and Qoheryss?
I still think Tywin would have beared resentment towards Tyrion because of the fact that johanna died giving birth to him.
7:47 that is a cursed image
I've been begging for this for ages!
What if all the wildfire was used at the battle of blackwater, stannis and davos blew up and somehow Joffery died during the battle.
What if Lyanna did love Robert
What if Littlefinger died during his duel for Catelyn's love?
He already made a video about that, what if Brandon killed Littlefinger.
I was one of the people who requested this video so thank you for making it! Clicked as soon as I saw it and was not let down. Keep up the great work!
Haha -- I'm glad I could make this go down! :)
Hope you enjoyed immensely, Alex!
In a Jaime video from GoT commentaries, he was supposed to marry Lisa Tully, so being a Kingsguard, Tyrion would be married off to the Tullys lol
Shrimpy honestly that would probably end better.
Tyrion is too young, Jaime was at that time was a teenager.
What if Tyrion married Elia Martell? I thought you would mention it in this video since that proposal was made right after Tyrion's birth by Tywin.
Tyrion actually was someone who loved doing whatever he was assigned to or any position he was given
He really did, for the most part. Even as sewer master (I forget the title)...never flowed better!
@@TheBattProductions Exactly and he always made the best of the job he was appointed for. No doubt he was very smart and he knew that people won't see him that way just cause he was a dwarf
What if the tragedy at summerhall never accured
Guywithacamera 127 Or what if the Targaryen’s bought their dragons back?
What if the Night King was killed by Jon Snow during the Hardhome battle?
What if Littlefinger was actually killed in that earlier episode when Cercei told her guards to kill Littlefinger? (Remember the conversation about power? Littlefinger was like 'knowledge is power' and Cercei was like 'no, power is power')
What if Ned Stark was killed by Arthur Dayne?
What if the White Walker killed Sam and Gilly beyond the wall?
What if Margaery Tyrell was never born (and Joffrey continued with his marriage to Sansa)?
What if the Night King hadn't found Bran in the wierwood tree beyond the wall?
What if Rickon and Bran swapped places?
What if Jamie and Cercei had just ordered their armies to kill off the faith millitant when they did their staring competition in the streets of King's Landing?
What if the Night King was never created? (What if the Children of the Forrest did not shove that dragonglass piece in that man's chest?)
What if the continent of Essos never existed?
What if Euron Greyjoy was never born? (Mainly TV show based query)
What if Yara had beaten Euron and became the Queen of the Iron Islands first?
What if Ned had bent the knee to Joffrey and not delivered him the letter denouncing him and saying Ned Stark should be King?
What if the Night King was killed beyond the wall in season 7?
Wow you did my what if awesome. I’m sure I’m not the only one that suggested it, but it’s still cool.
What if Aerys Targaryen married Joanna Lannister and Tywin married Rhaella Targaryen?
Aerys parent headed about a prophecy that the prince that was promised came from their bloodline.
Aerys marriage to his sister was arranged by his parents.
magister343 dance of dragons 2.0
What if the mad king did not kill Rickard and Brandon Stark?
Brandon was the one who went up to the targareyn crazy king.
That would of been good
What if Aegon the unlikely hatched dragons at Summerhall?
Another stellar video, absolutely love coming here at the end of the day after midterms for some excellent GoT content.
Thanks a lot Onion Knight! :)
I hear ya man. Mid-term time was rough for me a few years ago...UA-cam also helped! Hope you did well
What if Mance Rayder allied with the Night's Watch
I think that is what would have happened if Ned Stark had been sent to the Wall.
What if he bent the knee to stannis
Mo Da We do not kneel
Jack Challenge you'll bend the knee or I'll destroy you
Jack Challenge do you think it's a good Idea like mance joining stannis and jon
If Tyrion was acknowledged as the son of the Mad King, would Robert than try and kill him?
Excellent question. I don't think he would be acknowledged, BUT if he was...I'd probably say no, but frankly Tyrion may feel differently about Rhaegar's death if he finds out it's his his-brother.
It’s simple
Tyrion wouldn’t be Tyrion
Completely different person
Pretty much! I attempt to explain/describe sort of what that looks like and why it would matter, but this is the overarching answer and why I avoided this WHAT IF for so long.
Tyrion would be a normal person, it would be boring.
What if Rhaegar and Lyanna announced their love for each other instead of running away together?
Emperor Palpatine Robert still would of went mad and asked Rhaegar to fight him in single combat for her but we know that Arthur would of fought for Rhaegar
I'm sure He would actually trash talk Rhaegar to fight for Lyanna's hand not his kingsguards Kind of like when Littlefinger fought Brandon Stark for Cat's hand. Rhaegar would probably lose that battle as he did at the trident. This time though I don't think Robert would kill Rhaegar unless Rhaegar kept fighting.
What if Tywin brought Arya with him back to kings landing instead of leaving her with the mountain
Great vid man
Thanks a lot, Nerd King!
I appreciate it bud. i do what I can.
Awesome idea! I'll write it down my dude
Thanks man your the best game of thrones forever
What if after Roberts rebellion the 7 kingdoms decide to go back to being independent like they once were before aegons conquest? So no more wardens just Kings e.g. king of the north, king of the west, king of the south, king of the east, etc.
What if Ramsay didn’t castrate Theon?
Shawn Tan Wai Kit he'd probably be in the north somewhere dicking around
Then he’d still have balls
w00t! U did it! Thanks man!
Ya, I figure (excluding dragonbaby potential) that Tyrion is SO hated because Joanna died 'just' to bring a twisted little monster into the world. So in this scenario, even if she dies, its at least to birth more proper Lannister heritage.
Awesome job! Cheers!
What if lyanna survives the tower of joy
He already made a video on that.
What if accidentally Margaery was killed at the purple wedding instead of Joffrey (for example she drinks from Joffrey's cup, because she didn't know about Olenna's plan)
What if Arya was captured by Meryn Trant?
what if the White Walkers didn't come back
dany easily conquers Westeros. after her death, everything falls back into chaos.
He would also learn fighting
What if Cersei didn't visit witch and she didn't know her prediction?
Great video.
I do veer off from you a bit on what I think would be different in Tyrion. But thinking it over, I would either have to do a youtube response video (which I have never done) or write a novella length comment, to cover everything. (which I wont subject you to)
Glad you did this topic, it is a really fascinating subject/hypothetical.
Thanks buddy!
Hahaha! I appreciate you thinking about the length of the comment. If you ever do a video, I'm down for it.
Thank you for liking even if you didn't totally agree! :)
What if the Targaryens always called a Great Council to determine the next king rather than having any customs of inheritance?
What if Robb killed Jaime Lanister when he captured him?
OR what of Robb Stark took Jaime up on his offer of one to one combat and WON when he captured Jaime.
Saskia Mori killing Jamie probably would of been better he was 16 Jamie would of took his head of his soldiers if they went against and honour of single combat would of demanded his release but I think the northern Lord's would of killed him there
Jaime would destroy Robb in one on one combat unless Grey Wind attacks him (like Jon vs Qhorin Halfhand, which Jon only won thanks to Ghost).
What if Harren the Black had knelt to Aegon rather than having Harrenhall destroyed by dragonfire?
magister343 there would no Tully warden of riverlands
Umar K Well there could be if Aegon decides to seperate the Riverlands from the Iron Islands.
The Lannisters would have to find some other piece of shit to give as a "reward" to their allies.
“Your no son of mine”
“No father, I believe I am you, writ small.”
What if Jon Snow excepted Stannis' offer and became 'Jon Stark'?
Benjamin Brown he did that
DOLAN rakesh No he didn't...
he did ua-cam.com/video/ogP6jcXahFU/v-deo.html
I think you mean: "What if Jon Snow "accepted" Stannis offer and became Jon Stark?" - am I correct?
Also... I wonder if "I drink & I know things" would still be his resume opener? 😆
Judging by what one of Tyrion's aunts said about him to Jamie, Tyrion would literally be Tywin but younger. He is smarter than Jamie so Tywin may train Tyrion to lead more so than be a warrior
Take a shot every time he says "little man/guy, tiny and able bodied"
What if Joffery fought at blackwater?
What if Ned had decided to leave Sansa and Arya at Winterfell instead of taking them south, yet the war still happened?
What if Jeor Mormont sent Jon to King's Landing instead of Thorne in season one?
YES! Thank you for doing this!!!
You are most welcome!!!
Cersei would still be paranoid about Tyrion because of the volanquar prophecy
Maybe!
Dude, please tell me you did re-upload this because I'm 90% sure I had a dream with this video. and only just got home to see the notification.
Hahahaha - Nope!
I've never done this video before!
I AM however thrilled to find out people dream about my videos though.
Was Tywin *in* the city when Aerys was about to blow it up?
@@made-line7627 yup. which means Tyrion who would be too young to be in the Lannister army, inherits Castely Rock
What if Ned killed Jaime in King's Landing or What if Lysa Arryn allowed Jaime to fight for Tyrion in his trial
Loved the video! A couple I've always wondered
What if Yoren hadn't died and actually brought Arya up north to the wall?
What if the Mad King actually went through with his plan to build an even further north wall? (That one's more random but can't get it out of my head...)
What if there hadn't been a mutiny at Crasters Keep?
Full size Tyrion wouldn’t have met Jon Snow at the Wall.
Nor would he have opened Jon's eyes up to the other "unfortunates" of the world, lessening Jon's pity party, at least a *bit*
I think we all felt it when he gave his " I wish I was the monster " lines
