Jack Challenge adding on to that. What if Joanna Lannister lived. Personally I think she would’ve loved Tyrion. But it would’ve strained things between Tywin and Cersei.
Aren't dwarves hated in Westeros? She would see him as something disgusting and not worthy of the Lannister name. Tywin would probably have similar thoughts but from what i can guess the love he has for his wife would cause him to be more careful about how he voiced them. With Cersei, well is there any need to ask?
He did a video similiar to this which was “What if Ned Stark went to the wall” Which takes place a little after that whole argument but would still be very similiar. The only real difference is Ned Starks at Castle Black & Robb Stark becomes lord earlier. Unless Ned Stark decides to stay at Winterfell & essentially have the North be in rebellion since the lands bigger than the other 6 kingdoms combined & it’s a land that you can’t really conquer. It wouldn’t be worth the troubles to invade the North because Ned returned to winterfell I doubt he’d do so because of how honourable he is, but he also knows the North can’t be taken without dragons & that he didn’t actually do anything wrong
Robb wouldn’t...that would be up to King Stannis and Stannis would absolutely never sent Theon back. Seriously Robb gave the hostage back. Idiotic move.
@@TheBattProductions If Robb supports Stannis' claim, who has a fleet, then Theon wouldn't have been prompted to suggest seeking the Greyjoys' ships to attack King's Landing. So Theon wouldn't have had the occasion to betray Robb, nevermind actually doing it. It wasn't Robb who came up with the idea of seeking Greyjoy aid, it was Theon's, and that was only because of the weak position that Robb was in. Robb was skeptical of the idea, so he definitely wouldn't have come up with it himself. Theon might yet have become a problem once Balon started his raids, but he would have been in Robb's presence, not off on his own and Robb sure wasn't going to let Theon roam around after that. Also, if Robb supports Stannis' claim, Catelyn would never have been sent to negotiate with Renley, so she never meets Brienne and thus she's not going to release Jaime.
If that happened, and Balon Greyjoy stayed loyal ( which is doubtful ) then Robb stomps. In this scenario he doesn't need Walder Frey' support, he doesn't need the Karstarks, Roose would not dare to betray Robb and the Northmen because: The North army + The Vale army + The Iron Fleet and some 10,000 Ironborn = a bunch of dead Lannisters. Stannis would also be fucked in this scenario even if he does menage to take KL, he would still go to war with Robb and his allies because he considers them a bunch of Oathbreakers who stole half of his Kingdom.
I think Robb goes directly after Tywin in this scenario and Tywin is not a great swordsman and if he kills or captures Tywin on the field thats it for house Lannister i would see Mace Tyrell completely staying out of the conflict
Why would Winterfell be sacked by Theon? Robb only allowed him to go to the Iron Islands because he desperately needed allies in the fight against the Lannisters, allies he wouldn't need if he allied himself with Stannis. Which also means Robb wouldn't end up marrying Talisa because their relationship was formed partly out of his grief for then death of Rickon and Bran.
Additionally, Dany would never get involved with Jon if Tyrion never goes to Essos. Tyrion is the one who advised her not to bring Daario to Westeros. I doubt Daario would have a hard time competing with Sir Broodsalot Jon Snow for Dany's attentions when Jon Snow isn't even a compelling marriage candidate in this scenario. Also, I think Varys would have escaped once the siege started to turn. He doesn't have a well-known face and he knows all the secret ins and outs of King's Landing; Varys would have made his way to Daenerys earlier, that's all. And he doesn't have the charisma Tyrion does, so would likely fail to convince Dany to leave Daario behind.
Counter arguements to this well done What If. Brienne wouldn't be with Jaime because Cat wouldn't have been in Renleys camp to organize a truce and thus convince her to join Rob. Stannis would not have sent Cat to bargain with Renley as we saw he confronted him himself. So Brienne would have died in Renleys camp. If Brienne is not with Cat then Jaime would not be released and Sent back to Kings Landing with Brienne so there would be no search party to capture him and chop off his hand. Second Stannis would not have allowed Theon to go back to Pyke and try to recruit his father as Rob did as we saw Stannis was against anyone who claimed to be King, so Theon would have stuck with Rob and Winterfell would have still stood. If Theon never leaves to go to Pyke we also do not get Ramsey Taking "back" Winterfell so we don't get Reek or at least not as we know it.
Poor Brienne, but other guys of Kingsguard would live at least(who were murdered by Loras in blind rage). Robb send Theon shortly after declaring himself a king, I think at this time Robb and Stannis would not have good communication to discuss this.
Why wouldn't Cat still go to treat with the Baratheons? Everything we saw between her, Stannis, and Renly could still happen, but ending with Stannis and Robb connecting because Robb wouldn't be a rival king. In the chaos of Renly's assassination, Brienne could still end up with Cat. Instead of running away, Cat could go back to Stannis and report what she saw. Stannis knowing what happened might allow Brienne to stay with Cat if Brienne bends the knee to Stannis. From there they get Robb and Stannis to coordinate battle plans for an eventual attack on KL. Robb continues to keep Tywin busy while Stannis does what he did before. It would require some cajoling from Stannis for Robb to leave the Riverlands and maintain pressure on the Westerlands, Hoster's health be damned. Here's the only variable so far I don't have a good answer for: What happens with the Karstarks? Jaime will still escape and kill Karstark Jr. Will Lord Rickard insist on Jaime's death in retribution? With the Robb/Stannis alliance we could assume Cat will remain calm enough to not set Jaime free. If Brienne is forced to stay with Stannis (she is a Baratheon bannerman after all), then Cat won't have anyone to set Jaime free. If Lord Rickard gets to kill Jaime, can they keep it under wraps long enough for Sansa to remain safe in KL? If KL falls to Stannis and Tywin is defeated, I expect Kevan will bend the knee, but the Westerlands will go to another House. Every other Lannister but Myrcella is dead (who then becomes a political refugee in Dorne). Robb might be on his own retaking the North without Stannis' help. The Boltons will reluctantly stay loyal to the Starks. The North is retaken, Theon is dead, but the Iron Islands themselves won't be under any threat unless the (former) Lannister fleet is given to Robb to ship an army over. If all of this happens by the time Mance moves on the wall, Robb could be ready to reinforce the Watch and hold them off until Mance is defeated. A few weeks or months later, the Watch gets permanently reinforced by a whole lot of defeated Westerland nobles.
Well, I guess Cat can try to speak with Renly to convince him to support Stannis(like she tried after Brothers meeting) but would be taken as a hostage by Renly. The situation would repeat. Stannis would probably ask Brienna to swear fealty to rally Tarth troops. If Brienna stays with Stannis (Cat may not tell that Stannis controlled shadow, so Brienna might be even glad to help Stannis) then Jaime is locked and Karstark would be happy that his eldest son is alive at Harrenhall and Jaime would face punishment. Stannis can agree with Cat about the date of marching (he can choose fitting date to kill Penrose and gather his stormland bannermen). Stannis and Bolton(lol, can u imagine) would siege KL(they would have approximately 30 000 troops together). KL would be taken sooner(it would be breached from the north because it would not be so protected, maybe the ships would not be needed at all). Tywin would be stuck in Riverlands or maybe would go south to Tyrells and would not arrive to KL in time. I dunno what he would do, Mace probably would abandon Tywin, Robb and Edmure would come to KL too to give general battle(I think). I don't think Lannisters had fleet after Greyjoy rebellion(or their last ships were destroyed during the battle of Blackwater but I think it was KL's ships). Stannis may lend his ships to Robb to sail to White Harbor and Eastwatch.
You're right about the fleet. The ships used to siege Pike by Robert were commanded by Stannis who sailed the ships all the way around Westeros and still managed to surprise and ambush the Iron Fleet. Those same ships are now ferrying Stannis' troops around between Dragonstone and the Stormlands in preparation to attack KL. Stannis wouldn't make those ships available until the east was completely secure. I don't think Stannis would ask Robb to participate in the KL siege if Tywin is still at large somewhere in the West. Robb's army was mostly cavalry and would be great to cut off reinforcements. This was the threat Tywin faced when he was resting at Harrenhall. When he realized Riverrun was too well fortified by Edmure and Robb wasn't attacking the Westerlands for the moment he took the opportunity to sprint for KL to save the city from Stannis. If I were Stannis I'd tell Robb to keep chasing the Lannisters around to keep them away from KL while I attacked it. Robb might also have a tough time motivating his troops to go that far south if the North is still being attacked by the Ironborne. If the Tyrells are still with the crown at this point, then Tywin moving south is an option, but once KL falls he'd be surrounded by Stannis to the north and east, and Dorne to the south. No matter his choices he wouldn't long survive if KL falls and Robb and Stannis still have strong forces in the field.
I'm sorry, I was talking about book, It was differently in show. Was Robb with Bolton near Harrenhal?(I remember Tywin marched from Harrenhall). I think your guess is more appropriate then.
Jose Landa I don't think he would he knows jon snow is a cover name not his name I think she would push it until he was forced to tell her the truth. I think he much preferred her not asking too much about him
Why all the hate about Catelyn? Yes she is unforgiving about Jon, and it's normal that not everybody need to like eachother and pretend to be a good family. But it's in her ideals, did you as a woman in her position want a reminder by the "infidelity" of your husband running around you on a dailly basis? Yes people nowadays are of course a bit more forgiving, but cheats especially if they result in a child aren't often taken well either. It's not hard to see that it hurts Cat so that she still resign herself into not to be his mother even after what happened.
I think it is mostly nurture in that one so nothing changes. Since the reason Joffrey was, well himself, is that he was the firstborn and the heir. Which allowed him to build that ego while Tommen and Myrcella were mostly ignored.
2:55 this is a bit of a reach (no pun intended). Tyrell forces lost in Season 7 because their own bannermen turned on them and backed the Lannisters out of fear of Daenerys. They basically got red-wedded. Their best commander (Randyll Tarly), who was brilliant by the way, was the chief turncoat. Tarly troops had an almost Spartan-like training regimen and military mentality, with Margaery saying in one of her histories and lore videos that if House Tarly ruled the Reach the entire region would be a military camp. In this scenario you still have a united Reach, and you'd have the massive Tyrell army most likely under Tarly. That's REALLY bad for Robb, as he'd be massively outnumbered if the Tyrells linked up with the Lannisters and facing another brilliant commander. Worth recalling that the only defeat Robert Baratheon suffered during his rebellion was against the Tyrell army. Reach is somewhat like France in Napoleonic and pre-Napoleonic Europe. United and under competent military leadership its scary enough to take multiple other regions at once. Divided and without good commanders its the brunt of surrender jokes.
1:42 "If Melisandre comes out and says some spooky language" I just imagine her says like one word about the lord of the light and Robb like "nope" 😂😂😂
What if Stannis sacrificed Edric Storm (Gendry) and actually revived stone dragon, either from dragon egg(I suppose there can be potentially hidden dragon eggs in Dragonstone) or dead one like monstrous Cannibal from Dance of Dragons (I like his name and its association with Stannis action). This theory implies that Stannis has connection to the dragon(can potentially ride and control him) and that dragon can breath fire.
What if the Goldcloaks/Littlefinger didn't betray Ned? What if the Vale joined Robb? What if Catlyin Stark had grabed Walter Frey instead of his wife? What if Arya and the Hound was not turned away at the bloody gate? What if the Blackfish got on the boat with Brienne and Pod?
Personally, I was a huge Robb fan. It killed me when he was betrayed, because if he wasn't the odds of him winning the war were relatively high. Good video.
Robb agreed to a marriage alliance with House Frey before Ned got killed. Do you think Robb would have still gone ahead with that marriage? Would Talisa have still made an appearance? Roose Bolton may not have betrayed Robb in Season 3 as the Lannisters would have been history by this point and Tywin wouldn’t be around to protect him and Walder Frey. I wander what would have happened to the Freys and Boltons in this scenario?
TheBattProductions maybe the Tulisa marriage would still go ahead, but that would just make Stannis an angry guy and Robb would have to suffer the outcome
Asha would not be considered valuable hostage, but okay. Well, if it happens, then Winterfell would not be taken by greyjoys (who would follow a woman, eh?), Theon would be more liked by ironborn and would be chosen as a King(most likely).I dunno what Euron would do, try to kill Theon maybe.
3:07 Actually, the main reason the Tyrells lost was because Randyll Tarly switched sides but in this scenario Randyll would be with the Tyrells which could be really bad for the Stark-Baratheon alliance, but Robb is a brilliant strategist so he might overcome Randyll. P.S: What if Randyll didn't switch sides?
The only reason Theon went to the Iron Islands to get his father's navy. If Robb had sided with Stannis, he'd not need the Iron fleet as Stannis' navy was his main strength. There would've been no need for Theon to have gone to Pyke, and he would've remained loyal to Robb. The Iron islanders would probably have left the North by the time that they heard that Robb had taken the throne with Stannis and was coming back north. I think that Sansa would've been betrothed to Theon and the two of them would go to Pyke after the war hd calmed down.
I absolutely love all of your videos. Another What If idea: What if Dani made all three dragons take out the Night King and all of the white walkers when she flew to rescue Jon and everyone that went with him beyond the wall. Of course burn the whites that are around the group but then go right for the Night King before he's able to kill Viserion, take down the wall, etc.
You're very welcome. I think I watch your channel more than anyone else's. I love your quirks :-) Omgosh yes it would have been amazing. However if it happened that way, season eight would be even shorter. It wouldn't take long to take out Cersei and Euron, especially because I think the Golden Company will break their contract and fight with the Dani and Jon. Then they can rebuild with all three dragons and a new Fire and Ice baby.
Can you do a 'what if Ygriette lived?' video? Given that Jon Snow is a pivotal character, I wonder if her being alive would've changed his current path. If so, how?
Felt very rushed, theon wouldn't have been sent to negotiate. Because Robb is warden of the North. He'd have nothing to bargain. And let's say even if he does get sent I doubt Balon would jump to crown himself when he's going to have to face a United Iron Throne. And that whole winterfell burning thing wouldn't happen because Ramsay burned it. Wouldn't happen because theon wouldn't have been sent... Also where's Catelyn? What happens to the mountain? Does Dorne join the fight against the Lannisters? Questions questions questions.
I'm sure Theon gets sent either way. Catelyn is at Winterfell. I didn't mention her by name, but she's there with the rest of the family (except Ned). The Mountain dies in skirmish. Dorne stays neutral.
TheBattProductions Stannis is smart enough not to send the only Greyjoy hostage back to the troublesome Iron Islands, especially in a time of war, also why would Robb need ships to take KL if Stannis already had sufficient ships from the pirate?
TheBattProductions maybe it would be Smart to have Westerosi lords helping against the Lannisters, but I definitely think Theon wouldn't be sent for negotiations
I would like to think that Stannis would be smart enough to keep some of the Lannisters alive ,as a sign of good will ,as they still have huge influence in the Westerlands .But maybe thats just me not wanting Tyrion and Tommen to die :p
Great that you cover that topic! It's still a shame to hear see when my favs would die x'D, poor Tyrion especially. Have two other questions: What if Jaime isn't made a kingsguard by Aerys II? What If Ned hadn't warned Cersei about his plans?
I think that if Robb sided with Stannis then Theon wouldn't have gone to the Iron Islands. He wouldn't need to because Stannis has a navy. A great one at that. Even if Theon still had the idea to go he would need permission from Stannis, not Robb and I highly doubt he would let him go to begin with
I don't think the Tyrell would have chosen the Lannister right away. Yes, they want the crown, but they are not going to choose a losing team. Stannis at that point would have had a major advantage against the Lannister, he wouldn't just get the north as an extra but the Riverlands as well. I think the Tyrell would have played the Frey game of arriving late or something similar to what they did during Robb's rebellion, when they did such a bad siege of storm's ends just to wait out the winner. They could betroth one of their sons to Shiren, or Stannis could legitimize Gendry or another Baratheon's bastard as he doesn't seem to be getting an heir from his wife at any time soon.
If bran is back at winterfell, that means the wildlings would have killed jon when he abandoned them as summer wouldn't have saved him. So the wildlings would have won the battle of castle black and would invade the North.
Hanti In the books Mance did bent his knee to stannis secretly, and Mance is still very much alive in the books version. Mance went on a mission to save the fake arya (jeyne poole) from the ramsay bolton, but jon snow gets a pink letter claims he has Mance rayder?
What if Joffrey decided to have Ser Dontos drowned in the wine barrel on his nameday? Figured Joffrey's death and the aftermath would have changed in some way.
I absolutely love this what if video and I think this was the best decision. It would've also turned out well for the Starks and Baratheons, my 2 favourite houses in Game Of Thrones!
Then Dany has the support of the best and most competent general in all of Westeros. Randyll, Tywin, and Stannis were the best commanders in all of Westeros and with Tywin and Stannis dead, Randyll gets the title.
TheBattProductions I don’t mean to troll you though, I like your breakdowns. Any chance you’d do a what if situation for peter Jackson’s lord of the rings films
Cool video dude i love the work and passion you put in theese videos. Em i jhave a vid suggestion sorta like this one. What would happen if a different house declared to be the king north. lIke rob felt the power was too much and another should be named the king like karstark, umber, forrester etc. love The what if vids dude game of thrones forever
If say does still come to Westeros wouldn't the same people who backed her before (Tyrells and Martells) also jump to her side? The Martells are Targaryen loyalists and hate Stannis so they could be a sure thing. Plus knowing Stannis he might confiscate Casterly Rock from the Lannisters but I doubt the Martells would be happy about that since Myrcella is the heir. As for the Tyrells well I'm sure they are going to have some serious sour grapes about Stannis ruining their chances of seizing the Iron Throne. Perhaps when Dany arrives they will see another shot at retaking it by offering Loras's hand in marriage. That would cause Stannis a lot of problems.
4:30 Well, I wouldn't say most of house Lannister. Unless the Lannisport-Lannisters aren't in the show. I believe you also forgot to mention that Robb probably wouldn't be able to march his army north, due to the Greyjoy's having Moat Cailin. I don't exactly know how many men in Moat Cailin were in the show, but I think its a big number. And Moat Cailin, being the strong castle that it is, might be able to stand against the Starks.
1 thing i think would go different is that if stannis would sit on the iron throne there would probably be a faith militant uprising because he is going to try to convert everyone like he did at dragonstone
I wonder how Varys and Littlefinger slide past Stannis since he's gonna kill them Dany wouldn't be able to just land on Dragonstone since it was Stannises castle before She probably couldn't land in Dorne since they have no reason to rebell And she probably wouldn't have the Iron Fleet so how does she get across? And your ending with: Stannis is going to die and the Dany Jon thing doesn't make sense
Well that would be that Janos Slynt isn't loyal to Joffrey or/and LF - which promised the goldcloaks - which are at this point the better option for him to rise in power not the Starks. He couldn't see tho that Tyrion would be acting hand remove him and call him out for his dubious loyality. I can't that seeing happening, but if Slynt isn't a dick or being removed by Eddard before his attempt to take regency (still that isn't an option for him then) then it would be an interessting scenario.
I think you overlooked a few details. a)Theon Greyjoy was sent to Balon Greyjoy because both him and Robb Stark wanted independence. But Stannis will certainly not allow it. So Theon does not attack Winterfell and the whole Ramsay-Reek thing does not happen. Robb Stark's men will have a lot more morale. b)Catelyn was sent to Renly to negotiate, but since Stannis is already doing that it does not happen. Catelyn does not meet Brienne and so does not free Jaime Lannister because she does not trust anyone else with the job and the guards would not allow it. Rickard Karstark does not leave the Stark army and the Stark-Baratheon alliance have an important hostage. c)If Stannis wins Blackwater, the death of Joffrey and Tommen results in the Tyrells abandoning the Lannisters since they cannot get Margaery as the Queen.
What if Daenerys accepted the master of Yunkai's offer and sailed to westeros then allied with Robb Stark? I know its a strange one but I'm curios what you thoughts would be
King landing has a half million people live there, it would be hard for them to siege the capital. When the lannister has more soldiers then the stark/tully forces, lannister has 60,000 and crownland has 15,000 and the capital can have like 30,000.
Imagine what the history books would be like. The Flamming Stag and The Young Wolf united under one cause to defeat The Lannisters, wiping out almost everyone in their family. They crushed The Ironborn and defeated Mance Rayder. Total badasses.
One major problem that wasn’t addressed, Edmure Tully. Robb Stark knew Stannis Baratheon was going to besiege King’s Landing, that’s why he took his cavalry into The Westerlands, to lure The Lannister army to chase him so they couldn’t reinforce King’s Landing. Everything remains the same if Robb pledges to Stannis, he still would try to lure Tywin away from King’s Landing and he likely still wouldn’t have told Edmure his plans, so Edmure would attack Tywin’s army and stop him from chasing him. Thus leaving Tywin close to King’s Landing at Harrenhal and able to stop the siege and defeat Stannis at The Battle of Blackwater Bay. And The Tyrell’s would definitely turn down a proposal to Robb Stark. And the breaking of wedding oaths to the Frey’s wasn’t addressed.
Nice video. Love your "what if" videos and haven't thought about this scenario. Only thing I'd change is Sansa. If Stannis won the battle of blackwater, wouldn't Sansa have been killed by Ser Ilyn? Cersei ordered him to kill all the women if the city fell, so wouldn't you have to remove Sansa from the story?
Bro, love Your what if videos! Keep em coming. Plus in season 7 Randyll Tarly betrayed Olenna Tyrell and used the Reach soldiers to take Highgarden so the Tyrell household troops were way outnumbered.
she is an invador and the targaryens pass the crown according to salic law (males first if they unable to fiind a man they go with the woman) so Stannis (through his grandmother-daughter of Aegon the Unlikely) and his brother won the throne by right of the conqueror .
Here's an idea for a Game of Thrones what if. What if Jaime was Tyrion's champion in his trial by combat instead of Oberyn Martell. against The Mountain?
Can you do a What if Margery married Robb? Never thought of that before this video, i mean she wants to be a queen, but i doubt she wants to be queen in the north. Maybe she would react similar to Jorahs wife.
The Northern Lords wouldnt support a Southern King (Stannis). Especially not if that King worships the Lord Of light, and burned everyone who was against him. I could see Melisandra wanting to convert the Northern Army to The Lord of Light instead of The old Gods. And i am Pretty Sure that Melisandra burned everyone that wasnt loyal to the Lord of Light as a sacrifice, and i could see that happening with some of the northmen. Robb wouldnt let that happen, so he probably would flee as soon as possible. But at the other Hand, Davos would try to convince Stannis not to burn the north men, since they would have another enemy. Stannis is one of the best war leaders in the 7 kingdoms, so i dont think that Stannis himself would like to give up such a huge opportunity to get the throne such as the northmen, which would make Melisandra have less power over Stannis. If you remember, it was the absence of Davos that made Stannis trust Melisandra more.
Yay Kev another awesome video!!! What if Arya or Joffrey seriously hurt one another during there disagreement on the Trident? Also who’s your favorite Funko Pop Game of Thrones character? Just started collecting them.
If he's never named king then he never sends for the iron islands. The deal was for both to support the other's independence. He had also already agreed to marry into the Fray family. That was before the choice for king as well.
Like say the head of one family wanted the head of another family dead but wanted to avoid war. Has anyone ever demanded a duel to avoid war? Say if Oberion threatened war if he wasn't given the chance to kill the mountain?
Winterfell wouldn't be a ruin because the Boltons wouldn't make their move if Robb hadn't shown weakness. Ramsey would have re-taken it and they would have gone on bidding their time. The Iron born might have sat out the war if Theon didn't go home, he only went because Robb needed his fathers ships- which he wouldn't with Stannis as an ally holding the Royal fleet.
In the books though, Robb didn’t know Ned supported Stannis, didn’t know about the incest, and Stannis hadn’t declared himself king. Declaring for him would’ve been a terrible move given Stannis’s limited base of support, and more importantly, the fact that if Stannis remained loyal to Joffrey which seemed likely at the time, Robb and company are no subject to whatever judgement and discipline Stannis and Joffrey deem necessary. Plus, Robb becoming King didn’t exactly come out of nowhere either. They were in complete gridlock.
Another thing that I think would happen in this scenario, assuming they both sirvive, a wedding between Shareen and Rickon, not sure about the spelling on either of those names. I think this because Stanis would want his daughter and only heir to merry into the family of his most powerful bannerman. Besides, it would accomplish one of the goals of Robert, Stanis' older brother, making House Stark and House Barathion one, again not sure on spelling for some of that.
Since you talk about Rob death. Catelyn his mother played a part. In the tent when they first meet Catelyn said "Are these men are train in battle and I can send you back to Winterfell. What if Catelyn send Rob back home and let the lords take command of the army?
Awesome video, just a thing I thought, remember the Tully forces were at least 15,000 by the Crag I believe. So they would play a massive impact because they could also block the Tyrell troops. Also Edmure needs a wife, so Edmure would probably marry Margarey before Robb because they can secure relations with the Riverlands.
What if Tyrion wasn't born a dwarf?
Jack Challenge adding on to that. What if Joanna Lannister lived. Personally I think she would’ve loved Tyrion. But it would’ve strained things between Tywin and Cersei.
I love this one! Do it! Do it!!!
Patrick Donnolley why Cersei wouldn’t have hated Tyrion is their mother haven’t died
Very interesting idea!
What if Ned Stark returned to Winterfell, after their argument concerning the assassination of Daenerys Targeryen?
*Credits Roll
He did a video similiar to this which was “What if Ned Stark went to the wall”
Which takes place a little after that whole argument but would still be very similiar.

I disagree. I think they'd ask for aid regardless

And he doesn't have the charisma Tyrion does, so would likely fail to convince Dany to leave Daario behind.
honestly Robb even trying to ally the Greyjoys is the truest example of how green he was despite his military victories
What if Robb Stark marries Margaery Tyrell instead of Talisa/Jeyne :)
If only he were campaigning for The Iron Throne, and if he succeeded, he would've been a good king like Edward IV of England.
What if Trywin wasn't fooled by Arya?
I loved the interaction between the old lion and the young wolf.
Evoli - I don’t think he was fooled by her anyway he just didn’t know what house she belonged too.
T R Y W I N
@@HarleyD1991 you're right, he wasn't. He even gave her pointers on how to better hide herself among commoners. He just didn't know her house.
Dakota Sherman you have brought me back to a time before series 8. A good time.
What if Arya had gone with Jaqen when he first asked her
Another awesome video! Can always count on Battproductions for some solid GoT and Stannis coverage!
Ser Davos Seaworth Thanks a lot, my Onion Knight!
You are welcome
what if Edmure Tully Didn't surrender Riverrun to the Lannisters, but stays in castle and fight?
ua-cam.com/video/ey0wvGiAH9g/v-deo.html
That's basically what would happen
What if Catelyn kept her promise to be a mother to Jon snow and had Ned legitimize him.
Jose Landa I don't think he would he knows jon snow is a cover name not his name I think she would push it until he was forced to tell her the truth. I think he much preferred her not asking too much about him
Gah that just reminds me of how much she sucks
Jose Landa jon would of not have gone to the wall therefore he would be with robb and die at red wedding
Dashawn Bannister you never know Jon was just as honorable as Ned so he might have convinced Robb to marry a frey
As always in these scenarios, there's still Littlefinger out there being the biggest wildcard of them all
He really is. I didn't even mention him because I genuinely cannot account for him
What if Tommen was the First born son and not joffrey?
I think it is mostly nurture in that one so nothing changes. Since the reason Joffrey was, well himself, is that he was the firstborn and the heir. Which allowed him to build that ego while Tommen and Myrcella were mostly ignored.
What if Robert and Cersei’s first child lived.
I greatly appreciate the pun no matter what, hah.
1:42 "If Melisandre comes out and says some spooky language"
I just imagine her says like one word about the lord of the light and Robb like "nope" 😂😂😂
I. Need. This. Video
What if Catelyn never freed Jamie? OR What if Ned told Catelyn the truth about Jon’s parents?
I love it! That's brilliant.
Vale joining Robb wouldn't have changed a thing. Littlefinger will always betray Ned so that his plans will never fail, since he wanted Catelyn so bad
@@praveenloganathan7495 the Vale joining Robb literally changes everything wtf are you talking about Lmfao 😂
I think Robb does what he did with Talisa, truthfully. Frey just doesn't have the balls to do anything about it with no Tywin
TheBattProductions maybe the Tulisa marriage would still go ahead, but that would just make Stannis an angry guy and Robb would have to suffer the outcome
What if Sansa ended up beeing betrothed to Theon before Robert arrived at winterfell or after if ned said no?
What if Ned took asha instead of theon after the greyjoy rebellion?
Well Ned took his "heir" so it must be a son
Heirs can die
What if Bran wasn't pushed from the window?
This guy seriously deserves more subscribers. Hopefully he’s maintaining enough to keep it going long into the future. Great content
Thanks a lot Alex. I really appreciate that my friend!
I'm going to keep it going as long as I can :)
Thanks a lot Joi :)
Excellent idea...would've been excellent to see the dragons take out the Night King!
You're very welcome. I think I watch your channel more than anyone else's. I love your quirks :-)
Omgosh yes it would have been amazing. However if it happened that way, season eight would be even shorter. It wouldn't take long to take out Cersei and Euron, especially because I think the Golden Company will break their contract and fight with the Dani and Jon. Then they can rebuild with all three dragons and a new Fire and Ice baby.
What if Ramsey didn't kill Roose?
John Stark I put what if he had a girl instead of a boy with fatty frey
Wasn't he poisoned?
Robb should’ve been like yah no great John I don’t wanna be king because I don’t wanna die
Greatjon Umber is the definition of a hype man.
Questions questions questions.
the end part. a bit.
What if Balon sided with the North?
Love this "what if", awesome video as always!
Thanks my friend!
If bran is back at winterfell, that means the wildlings would have killed jon when he abandoned them as summer wouldn't have saved him. So the wildlings would have won the battle of castle black and would invade the North.
What if Mance Rayder had bent the knee to Stannis?
Hanti
In the books Mance did bent his knee to stannis secretly, and Mance is still very much alive in the books version. Mance went on a mission to save the fake arya (jeyne poole) from the ramsay bolton, but jon snow gets a pink letter claims he has Mance rayder?
Hanti This one is very good
What if Joffrey decided to have Ser Dontos drowned in the wine barrel on his nameday? Figured Joffrey's death and the aftermath would have changed in some way.
I think this is my favorite one you've done.
I absolutely love this what if video and I think this was the best decision. It would've also turned out well for the Starks and Baratheons, my 2 favourite houses in Game Of Thrones!
9:24 I thought this was a “what if” scenario on Robb not being the King in the North...
Another great video! It makes me ready for season 8 lol! And have you thought about doing what if videos for Star Wars?
I have thought about it!
So many What Ifs to do...Hmm
What if Daario hadnt joined Dany, or what if Melisandre never showed up?
Great video. A little sad about not having the final season this year, maybe the book, finally.
Thanks Thais :)
Glad to see you here!!!!
I could see Robb and Shireen together bth.
I was about to suggest this 😂 good video
I wonder how Baelish would factor in all of this
What is The Tally’s stay loyal to house Tyrell
Then Dany has the support of the best and most competent general in all of Westeros. Randyll, Tywin, and Stannis were the best commanders in all of Westeros and with Tywin and Stannis dead, Randyll gets the title.
My man I'm glad you did this one!!!!
Robb would’ve marched his army to the wall to help the nights watch they would’ve been just fine with the entire northern army to help them
What if Stannis choose not to follow roberts orders or sided with him during roberts rebellion. How would that have effected the rebellion?
Fuck!he's turning into Robert baratheon
love how you still sneaked in robs probably still gonna die at the end ah...never a dull moment
:-)
TheBattProductions I don’t mean to troll you though, I like your breakdowns. Any chance you’d do a what if situation for peter Jackson’s lord of the rings films
Cool video dude i love the work and passion you put in theese videos. Em i jhave a vid suggestion sorta like this one. What would happen if a different house declared to be the king north. lIke rob felt the power was too much and another should be named the king like karstark, umber, forrester etc. love The what if vids dude game of thrones forever
What if Ned Stark dies in the Greyjoy Rebellion
No Bran. Game Over
DA KING IN DA NORF
Haha. You've got his voice down!
I wonder how Varys and Littlefinger slide past Stannis since he's gonna kill them
Dany wouldn't be able to just land on Dragonstone since it was Stannises castle before
She probably couldn't land in Dorne since they have no reason to rebell
And she probably wouldn't have the Iron Fleet so how does she get across?
And your ending with: Stannis is going to die and the Dany Jon thing doesn't make sense
im trying to make sense of this
What if the Gold cloaks sided with Ned?
Well that would be that Janos Slynt isn't loyal to Joffrey or/and LF - which promised the goldcloaks - which are at this point the better option for him to rise in power not the Starks. He couldn't see tho that Tyrion would be acting hand remove him and call him out for his dubious loyality. I can't that seeing happening, but if Slynt isn't a dick or being removed by Eddard before his attempt to take regency (still that isn't an option for him then) then it would be an interessting scenario.
Oh well xD someone else wrote this too :D
I know its a strange one but I'm curios what you thoughts would be
The marching song for Robb and Stannis -" I hate Joffrey, you hate Joffrey; let's get together and kill Joffrey".
Don't the photos of stannis, Robb and renly look a bit off?
What if Robb Stark actually reaches Kings Landing
King landing has a half million people live there, it would be hard for them to siege the capital. When the lannister has more soldiers then the stark/tully forces, lannister has 60,000 and crownland has 15,000 and the capital can have like 30,000.
half a million mouths to feed would make a siege a lot easier
The Lannister can conscript a 100,000 locals there with the promise of wage and foods.
That being said, yeah I would love Robb if he had joined Stannis.
Imagine what the history books would be like.
The Flamming Stag and The Young Wolf united under one cause to defeat The Lannisters, wiping out almost everyone in their family. They crushed The Ironborn and defeated Mance Rayder. Total badasses.
Idk if you’ve done this yet but you should do a what if Littlefinger had somehow sat the Iron Throne? Like what would he have done after he got it?
i think the problem with trying to analyze the war with the Walkers is we dont know if its even POSSIBLE to stop them.
10:16 without tyrion's mind I don't think Danny may survive
Great video browsky
But how could Stannis justify fighting Daenerys?
she is an invador and the targaryens pass the crown according to salic law (males first if they unable to fiind a man they go with the woman) so Stannis (through his grandmother-daughter of Aegon the Unlikely) and his brother won the throne by right of the conqueror .
Rickon would live
What if Robert sent Joffrey to the north to be raised by the starks?
What if Ellia Martell wasn't murdered?
Here's an idea for a Game of Thrones what if. What if Jaime was Tyrion's champion in his trial by combat instead of Oberyn Martell. against The Mountain?
What If The Mad King Succesfully Burned Down King's Landing??
If stannis was king of the iron throne, daenerys would have got merced when she walked in to dragonstonr without any guards.
Can you do a What if Margery married Robb? Never thought of that before this video, i mean she wants to be a queen, but i doubt she wants to be queen in the north. Maybe she would react similar to Jorahs wife.
WHAT IF: Benjen Stark had lived?
I tried imagining Arya with Robin and all I couldn think was "he'd be dead in hours if not minutes"
If he's never named king then he never sends for the iron islands. The deal was for both to support the other's independence. He had also already agreed to marry into the Fray family. That was before the choice for king as well.
Also just a question here. Has trial by combat ever been used as part of a peace treaty? Or other agreement outside of the usual courts?
Could you further explain your question for me? I admit that I don't think I completely understand it.
Like say the head of one family wanted the head of another family dead but wanted to avoid war. Has anyone ever demanded a duel to avoid war? Say if Oberion threatened war if he wasn't given the chance to kill the mountain?
Is this a follow up to the real person who destroyed house stark
Adust Gaming Yup! I mentioned that in the beginning of the video! :)
