We've been given no reason to believe that Kevan Lannister had the same animosity towards Tyrion that Tywin did. I think if Kevan were the Hand of the King he would have recognized Tyrion as Tywin's heir and named him Lord of Casterly Rock and Warden of the West. Tyrion would probably have left King's Landing and headed to the Westerlands to defend them from the Starks.
Gosh what a necro, sorry to do it just have to say. Tyrion is doubtlessly a Tywin level power player, damn near as good as his father and in an ideal world would be equal to him. However, what would the Lord's of the West say to a disfigured dwarf like Tyrion taking over especially after Tywin is gone? How's that gonna go with those Lords?
I have no reason to believe Kevan wouldn't quietly try to install Lancel Lannister as Lord of Casterly Rock. These events take place far before Lancel throws in with the Sparrows, and how easy would it be for Kevan to convince the lesser Lords of the Westerlands by saying "Would you prefer my son Lancel, or Tywin's son Tyrion?"
@@perrycarters3113 Kevan doesn't show any signs of that sort of chess player thinking. He has always fulfilled the role of doing what was asked of him by someone who was in power. He is a rule follower. In this case, the rule in place is primogeniture plus the vow of the Kingsguard.
Ashley Johnson This would raise question like why does lady stark love ned bastard and not hate, this is not dorne, people will grow odd about this. Jon snow would still go to the wall because of benjen stark.
What if Tywin had respected Tyrion and named him Lord of Casterly Rock in his stead and Tyrion went back to casterly rock to rule when Tywin took over as hand of the king?
This comment is a bit long but I tried to say all the major implications of Cersei being at Casterly rock and not in Kings Landing. It Could be interesting as her antics in Kings Landing certainly did a lot of bad however I don't think that Tywin would ever trust her with The Rock. Tywin knows that she is not a smart political strategist. He tells her "I don't distrust you because you're a woman, I distrust you because you're not as smart as you think you are." As much as he disliked Tyrion he recognized his potential to play the game of thrones, he sent him to Kings landing in the first place so that he could rein in Cersei's, "madness and stupidity." However I think it is likely that Tywin had planned to send Cersei back to Casterly Rock at some point as evidenced by the fact that Kevan lannister tries to do exactly that after Tywin's death. Had that happened before the Purple Wedding that could have changed a lot. For example I don't think that Tyrion would have been the prime suspect in Joffrey's murder. Most likely Oberon Martell would have been the prime suspect in this case and that may have changed things in Dorne, especially in the books as (BOOK 4 SPOILERS) Doran Martell was planning to marry his son to Daenerys and throw his forces behind her when she crossed. Oberon was in on this plan so he would not have killed Joffrey and Doran knew this. Depending on the outcome of the trial Doran's plans may have changed. In the book Doran tells the Sandsnakes that he is not going to attack the Lannisters because Oberon's death was not unjust. He of course is just biding his time until Daenerys crosses the narrow sea but he doesn't trust the Sandsnakes with this information so he uses the fact that Oberon died fairly in a trial by combat to justify his inaction. Without this excuse we may have seen something closer to what happened in the show, only the dornish probably would've attacked kings landing immediately after they killed Doran. At this point the Tyrells would still be supporting the Lannisters and Mace Tyrell would definitely jump at the chance to wipe out Dorne. It was pretty clear in the books that Dorne would have lost this war, so that means that Dorne is not there to join Daenerys when she crosses making her attack harder as she would have lost the dornish army and she would not have gained the Tyrell host from the Lannisters because Cersei wouldn't have been in kings landing to blow them up. We also wouldn't see anything with the Sparrows because they were Cersei's doing, Tyrion probably wouldn't have killed Tywin or sailed to Meereen with Varys so neither of them would have been there to advise and assist Daenerys. Which would mean that Daenerys would not have been able to cross the Narrow Sea so quickly, and when she did she would have had to face a Lannister, Tyrell and possibly what was left of the Dornish host headed by Tywin Lannister. A much more daunting task than what she faces now. Also Cersei would still have at least one living child, Tommen, and possibly Myrcella, in the books probably not in the show.
Akz 21 Then lady Joanna would have to defend her son tyrion from everyone, because of his deformed body. she would help tyrion to become a maester but tywin would not have allowed that, but Joanna would support tyrion in becoming a maester.
soyon manlai what would he study at the Citadel, he's clever so he could have been useful in helping Tywin who wouldn't have shown hatred to him as he wouldn't have had much reason other than him being a dwarf. Tyrion would've had a better relationship with his family and the Westerlands so Tywin might've made him heir if Jamie still went off to join kings guard to be with his sister. (Cut off half of this comment because it was that long wrote a paragraph)
9xprincess Wish rheagar cared for elia martell more then lyanna stark. If that did happened then they would have the martell support in essos, the red viper would raise both of these kids to rule and combat in time for invasion.
soyon manlai You have a point but in The World of Ice and Fire book it was revealed that Aerys commanded that Elia stay to ensure the loyalty of the Martells. But your right Rhaegar wasn't that stupid, he knew what could happen and why even trust his father with his family? Rhaegar should have gotten, Elia and his two own children to Dragon Stone somehow. With all his popularity and intelligence he should have manned up and taken power from his father a looong time ago anyway, he was in his mid to late twenties when he died, more then old enough.
it would be like to know, but there is no chance to figure out what would they grow up or would they even survive till they are grown ups. Too little info about them.
Another thought provoking What If! House Lannister would've crumbled. You're right that no one would support them - it was Tywin they feared, without him? Bah! I reckon Robb would've negotiated with Stannis - the Iron Throne for Joffrey's head and Sansa's freedom. The Stark Army would return to the North and heed the call of the Night's Watch. An interesting twist in the story - would make an excellent fanfiction!!
When I rewatched GoT recently I was under the impression that she admired Tywin a little, although she knew that he needed to be killed. Their bond in the show was interesting. There is a point that she is clearly thinking about killing him herself but stops and I'm not entirely sure it was because of the implications she was facing. He was being a pretty decent person with her, was a confusing relationship, like with the hound. If the English sounds weird, I'm a dislexic Brazilian, not my first language, I did my best.
I think she totally does admire Tywin. She knew he wasn't stupid, was highly respected, but had a gentle nature to him with children. One of my favorite relationships ever was Tywin and Arya. Your English sounds great, Thaise!
Would've totally changed the outcome I think! Shame too. They both wanted generally the same thing, but Stannis couldn't handle the idea of a sovereign North (rightfully so).
What if Ned Stark allows Loras Tyrell to go after Gregor Clegane when he volunteers for the task, instead of giving the duty to Beric Dondarrion? Could have a lot of repercussions.
TheBattProductions Then the Brotherhood without banners will capture them, then she would meet her sister then be ransomed to lady stark or lord Robb stark? or Lysa in the vale?
Another good one! 1. Arya's safety would have, definitely, been compromised. When Tywin thought there was an assassin after him they had that place on lock down. If Tywin died there would have been chaos. Everyone would have been a suspect and she might gotten killed along with everyone else there. Maybe Ja'quen would have saved her, but who knows? The chances of her meeting the Hound and becoming an assassin would have been considerably diminished. 2. There's a good chance that the deal with the Tyrells would have never went through? Would Kevin have even thought of it? Kevin doesn't strike as much fear in the hearts of people as Tywin does. 3. Definitely, no Red Wedding which means that Rob doesn't get killed and he goes to attack the Casterly Rock. 4. Stannis takes over King's Landing and probably kills every Lannister he can get his hands on. This also means that Stannis and Robb will end up going to battle, because Stannis wants his entire kingdom and Robb wanted to be King of the North. I can't imagine that ending well. 5. Also, Sansa would have probably died as well.
Didn’t Sansa run to her bed chambers and lock it. I reckon Stannis would’ve used her to get Robb to yield. With the Lannisters gone, he probably would’ve.
I feel like in this situation the Tyrells would have offered Margaery to Robb to ally with the Starks because had Tywin died a Stark victory would have seemed much more likely
What if Hot pie never told arya that jon snow had taken winterfell when she was on her way to kill cersei? Would she kill Cersei? Would all that cersei did after that not happen?
To get to Cersei, she would’ve taken Jamie’s face. To get out of the situation she would then use Cersei’s. My question is how she manages to take down the Mountain. Or to leave after that.
Thanks a lot Cody! I appreciate it my dude. I LOVE LOVE making videos. Sure they take time and all, but that's NBD. I just need to make sure I don't run out of ideas :)
What impressed the faceless man was her naming him. So she could blackmail him into helping her escape. That is were she earned his respect. One could claim Arya was what the House of Black and White wanted in the first place. Besides who in there right mind isn't going to bail from the Mountain? Arya did the best she could for being so young.
@@TheBattProductions this is a bit late, I admit. As for Arya being dishonorable; she hasn't forgotten that Ned's sense of honor is one of the major things that got him killed. She is learning to play the game. She knows there's no room for any honor if she means to play to win.
Dude ur good on the time table and frankly so is everyone else keep stimulating my brain and I'm happy if u ever need an idea u can ask me I got ur back I know a ton of ppl who love ur channel and would be more than helpful if u need it but we all love ur vids and r happy to help u
I always love your videos. This is a particularly good one. Only problem I see is that Rob never wanted the Iron Throne. He just wanted the north recognized as its own kingdom, separate from the crown.
This is only the 2nd vid I've uploaded with it (so two weeks). Absolutely. The Wall probably doesn't change as much as other stuff, but definite changes for sure!
Just had a thought for a what if video. What if Stevron Frey survived the battle of Oxcross? A bit left field I know but may have changed how things turned out for Robb.
I actually love Tywin but I do think the Boltons would still have rebelled because the Iron born were the ones that had them lying to rob before the red wedding
no, the Boltons were already lying about the Iron born situation in winterfell before the red wedding. If rob marched south, I think the boltons would have still took winterfell and joined up with the freys
They lied about Bran and Rickon being dead, Ramsey knew the truth because Theon told him. I think the Boltons would have still betrayed them and holed up in Winterfell
I would have to disagree. The Northern Army was massacred at the Red Wedding, so with no Tywin, and no red wedding, the Northern Army would number close to 20,000, and they would have the backing of the Tully's, who probably could muster half of that in a short amount of time. So if the Boltons broke away, they'd take their approx 4,000 men with them, they'd still have to fight 16,000 Starks and 10,000 Tullys to get to Winterfell. Even if they allied to the Frey's, an extra 3,000 men would not help in a pitched battle with the Starks and possibly the Tullys, if they could get an army to the area in time.
+TheBattProductions Hey Kevin, I think you should un pixilize the beginning and have the got opening as the music and have it fade out when transitioning into the actual video. I hope your channel will have great success.
+TheBattProductions To have it be catchier. Your face is the face of the channel and the face cant be blurry. You canrun the channel whichever way you want to, I'll still be watching. But I truly think TheBattProductions deserves 10 times both the amount of subscribers and views at LEAST.
THANK YOU CRYSTAL! I'm hoping to get this training moving still and grow fast fast fast. I don't know why or how, but I'm going to work my little butt off to keep it going
Thank you my friend!!!! Absolutely. I think we were all hoping for Tywin at first, but then he treated her so well so we as an audience wanted her to choose other people.
Thomas Jon would lived in starfall until his 15 then he be a wander knight or join a varys plan of targaryen restoration? Benjen stark would be the Lord of Winterfell, and cat would have no option to marry him? I think jon snow would be a hedge knight because his got no targaryen feature?
Tbf, Arya looked for Jaquen right before Tywin left to say his name but he was on patrol duty. Upon hearing that he could take up to a year to kill Tyson now that he was gone, Arya chose the guards
What if at the Battle of the Trident, the Kings Guard especially Arthur Dayne Barristan Selmy and Jamie Lannister were there to fight off Roberts forces. How would that effected that battle and the overall war?
zachary herrera Robert would have died, Ned would flee from this and head to Riverrun then towards the neck for defensive battle against the iron throne, jaime's dad tywin would support the winning side, because he wants his son back.
Tyroin is Tywin's hair not his uncle. After him it's Cersei, as the books make clear. I don't understand why kevan is made head of house lannister here? I'm sure Tyroin would quickly have someone try to kill him, but it still doesn't fall to kevan even in the show.
I have sort of done this one actually! (Sort of - not sure it's exactly what you want) ua-cam.com/video/apPAgU_nZ2c/v-deo.html&index=12&list=PLA4WFGBMDvToByexOyYhWLwKVAtV51pyx
Well Robb wouldn't take the Iron Throne, he always said he'd just lop of Joffrey's head, because he was the King in the North, not the King on the Iron Throne. The Riverlands might be screwed, because after that war, Robb and his mateys go back North and chill out whilst the rest of the Seven Kingdoms (who knows; they might all divide again) are pretty pissed about what that Northern Alliance did to them, and the Riverlands are so nicely situated. The Freys wouldn't in a thousand years betray the Starks if Tywin were dead. Their single motive was to get as powerful as possible: that's why Walder Frey wanted Robb to marry one of his daughters. He was also looked down upon his entire life, so the fact that Robb married a common girl was even more enfuriating; clearly a common girl is worth more than his daughter. But without Tywin's support he wouldn't dare, because he only supported those whom he knew for sure would win: at the Battle of the Trident, he showed up last because he wanted to know who'd win before joining a side. Also, why does everyone (at least OP) assume that Stannis and Robb would be besties? Robb just wanted an independent North and Joffrey's head; Stannis thought himself (and he was though) the rightful heir to the Iron Throne, so he denounced Robb Stark and all his bannermen as traitors. Sansa would be safe though, if she could escape Illyn Payne, because Stannis would indeed use her for bargaining, and she was just an innocent girl. Maybe he'd burn her for kings blood though, who knows? What's certain is that Robb wouldn't give up the North for her; he wouldn't accept Stannis as king, nor would the Iron Islands, Riverlands, and possibly the Westerlands and the Reach.
Why did I think this was an alternate scenario, with something like Arya finds a way to team up with/spy on Tywin Lannister by being brought on campaign with him? TBH it would have been awesome to see these actors get more screen time together
Well Tywin dying at Harrenhal would probably cause a lot of chaos among the Lannister soldiers for a few minutes to hours until Kevan can bring order to the troops, enough that perhaps Arya might be able to slip past and escape. It would ultimate depend on when Arya asks Jaqen to kill Tywin.
Good point about Arya, I didn't think of that. Glad you pointed out that the loss of Tywin loses the Lannister family a LOT of intangibles (reputation, fear) in addition to his skills. I think Sansa would have been safe if she had survived the taking of King's Landing. Stanis respected Ned (and his support of Stanis' claim) he may not have returned her unless Robb bent the knee, but she would have been safe. Also though in this scenario Oberyn would likely have been still alive so no Sand Snake coup. While in the books the Martells supported a Targaryen restoration we don't know about the Show. Do you think they would have taken their swing at a the weakened Lanisters or something else?
Absolutely. It loses a TON of intangibles. Tywin's name is everything in Westeros. Scared away houses who wanted to threaten the Lannisters, gave comfort to the traitors Frey and Bolton. Very true about Martells! I don't think they would've taken that swing since the Lannisters basically would've been crippled already. But never put it past the snake to take a bite!
I don't think Rob would ever sit the iron throne even if given the chance. He would most likely do one of 2 things. 1 take/maybe sack kings landing, kill the lannisters inside except probably tommen and maybe tyrion because of what he did for Bran. Then just leave whoever gets there first gets it Rob doesn't care, the north and the riverlands are independent and he can go home. Or 2 the most likely he does the same thing except he says that kings landing is stsnnises by right and all of the surviving garrison (barring the lannister troops) are now stannises men and share fealty to him then leaves with the instructions that only stannis and his supporters may come in until stannis orders otherwise. Sending a raven to the mannis right before leaving informing him of all of this. Rob always believed that the mannis was the rightful heir
I still think that the red wedding would have still happened. Tywin was writing the plot as Arya was "working" for him. That was already set in motion...
Probably robb wouldve bent the knee anyways he really didnt wanna be king tbh, he would get his sister back and probably even be named new lord of casterly rock or even another stark would be given casterly rock. Probably establishing house stark of casterly rock
I always said that if Arya had fully known the strategic opportunity she was given with the option to merc Tywin, things would have been a lot different.
What if Hodor was a dragon. All hail His Grace, Hodor, First of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of Doors.
I'm confused... didn't Arya ask Jaqan multiple times to kill Tywin and he refused? (this a man cannot do). assuming that it was the timing of it only (right before he left with his troops) is in my opinion, just that, an assumption. Tywin's security was high, and after he believed there was an attempt on his life (wolf's bane, a rare substance) it would be higher yet. Even if someone managed to kill Tywin, the effort made to find his killer would be exhaustive. I'm not saying Jaqan didn't have the masks or stealth to escape, but Gendric, Hotpie, and Arya as well? The city would have been put on lockdown even more so than it already was, with more Lannister troops arriving very soon to search the city high and low, and the chances of Arya being recognized or found out would go through the roof.
She did ask him once, but he said he couldn't do it. The way I see it, he said he couldn't because Tywin was already gone by that point. I think he would've killed Tywin if he were around because she also asked Jaqen to kill Amory Lorch to which he refused as well until Arya kept hounding him. I don't think it'd play out how you say it would with the Lannister troops coming in. If Tywin dies, why send a bunch more troops to hold Harrenhall? You'd just be taking Lannister troops away from the war. Remember, Stannis is about to smash King's Landing and Robb is heading to Casterly Rock. They can't spare nearly anything.
Here's an idea: What if Arya did not escape from the Lannisters? Another idea: What if Arya decided to take Sansa's face in Season 7 Episode 6, and become the Lady of Winterfell? I would enjoy your take on either (or both) of these.
Arya chose Tywin Lannister, and Jaqen told her that he she must choose another name. I guess many faced god knew Tywin had a role to play, whatever that was, therefore there is a Limit to which persons faceless man can or cannot kill and when.
tyrion may have offered peace after blackwater. There was no chance of winning for the starks once stannis was out of the picture,so robb may have accepted it.So jamie may still have lived and but sansa would have been a hostage. And all of westeros would be preparing to fight the white walkers or dany or both.
I wonder why Jacquen got so weird and uncomfortable when Arya said his name? Even Making her take it back. If there was no Jacquen it seems he would've just laughed it off and said "no, really?" Or something to that effect.
WHAT IF: Jamie Lannister does NOT get none of his hands chopped off? Jamie possibly still gets a redemption by telling Brianna his story of the Mad King and How he became the “King Slayer” and how he was hated by all of Westeros. Saves Brianna From the bear. He Still The Badass Sword Fighter, and maybe he’ll be more nicer and stay true to Catelyn Stark but It won’t change a thing, The Red Wedding will still happen. In the Scene where Jamie and Bronn are training, Yeah Jamie is going to be the one pushing Bronn around, Jamie goes with Bronn to get Marcella in Dorne. And Then everything stays the same until everyone in Westeros is aware of The White Walkers. Jamie goes to Winterfell, He has A Valerian Steel Sword he does a better job now that he still has his right hand, and Then he goes to Kings Landing to Find Cercei they go to underground and Dies along with Cercei.
In this scenario, the only Lannister likely to survive would be Myrcella because Oberyn would never have fought the Mountain. Maybe she and Tristan would have lived HEA. Enjoyed the video. I'll be checking out your earlier ones.
What if Ser Arthur Dayne won, (not necessarily killing Ned or Howland), but was able to keep himself alive, and the unnamed Targaryen baby (that in the current universe grew up to become Jon Snow)? Would this baby inherit the throne? Would people rally around the baby of Rhaegar and Lyanna? As much as Robert hated Rhaegar, would he have been able to bring himself to kill the baby of the love of his life, Lyanna Stark? How would this change things?
I like to think arya was just too young and ignorant to appreciate just how important Tywin was for the Lannisters' position. That she thought that if he died another Lannister would just replace him and everything would proceed as it had been.
You are forgetting an important part - Jaqen said that only death was certain, the timing was not. Tywin had already increased security around himself after Lorch's death and was being careful with his food and stuff. There was no guarantee that Jaqen would've been able to kill him like he killed Amory. More importantly, Jaqen would've preferred to kill in less obvious ways and make it look like an accident. The only reason Lorch's death was obviously murder was because he was about to tell on Arya. Without a clock on it, he'd have taken his time with Tywin. Not to mention, Tywin had already left Harrenhal by the time Jaqen came back from some scouting mission. So he'd have had to catch up with Tywin to fulfill Arya's request. There is no way to know how long that would've taken. All in all, there is no guarantee that Tywin would've been killed before making an alliance with the Tyrells or before setting the Red Wedding in motion.
I didn't forget about that though. I've accounted for it. Jaqen told Arya once before that he couldn't kill someone right away, but he ended up giving in (to kill Lorch). If Tywin was still around, I think Jaqen would've potentially done it. There's no guarantee, but I certainly believe Jaqen could've pulled it off considering his abilities. There'd be a clock on it in this scenario though because Tywin was about to march, so it'd have to be done only a little bit longer than Jaqen had to kill Lorch. All of this is based on if Jaqen was around. If I remember right, Jaqen was on guard duty somewhere but not sure it's said he was far away or anything. I guess the summary here is that I think you're taking the pessimistic viewpoint on it working whereas I'm taking the potentially overpostiive-outlook on it working. The ultimate point (which I totally agree with you on) is that there's no guarantee this goes down.
As I recall, Arya desperately searched for Jaqen as Tywin was about to leave to name him, but only found him once Tywin had already left. I agree, it is possible for Jaqen to quickly catch-up to Tywin's forces and kill him - I was just disappointed that you didn't explain that assumption. Here's another thing - Tywin had already set the Tyrell-Lannister alliance in motion long before he left Harrenhall. It was when he sent Littlefinger to negotiate. Is likely that the alliance would've happened regardless of him being alive - which means, Kevan would've led the Lannisters to victory over on the Blackwater as well. The Red Wedding though, probably wouldn't have happened.
You are correct on that sir! I debate the fact that the Tyrell/Lannister thing would've happened exactly in time to save the Lannisters at KL, but you could be right! Sure.
Robb could have placed Shireen on the Iron Throne as she was the only one left with a legitimate claim to it or dissolved the Seven Kingdoms and all the realms would have become independant (maybe except for the Riverlands cause they could be Robb's vassals south of the Neck),
Arya wouldve escaped in the confusion. The Mountain is a raepist, but never showed any interest in little children, or Arya, who was in his custody all along the march to Harrenhal.
I always said arya could've ended the war at that moment. Also, Sansa would've been safe. She still would've made it back to her room and barred the door. It would take a lot for illyn Payne by himself to break through that door. Plus, he wouldn't even be looking for her until after he slaughtered the other women, which would be quite a fight on it's own. Theres actually a chance he wouldn't survive his orders considering Shae was armed, its not unreasonable to think other ladies wouldn't be armed during a seize, either.
I still think the Tyrells would’ve still supported the Lannisters because offering Margery the crown is all she and her family wanted. Robb was already married and there was no direct benefit for them by backing down. As long as Margery could marry Joffrey that was paramount to her family/
In the show we see that it’s Locke who cuts off jaimes hand but in the books it’s vargo hoat, another one of tywins cutthroats, wouldn’t he have been better served in not cutting off jaimes hand seeing as he knows what Tywin does to people who anger him?
I have not done this one because I don't think it's been long enough to give a reasonable outcome. I'll have to wait until the show is over for this probably.
Futlegend You're splitting hairs sir. She didn't directly say "Lannister guards" but she said she needed to escape, which required the death of multiple Lannister guards.
cersei didnt actually hate tyrion at this point ofc she doesnt like him but she only really wanted him dead and hated him after he killed tywin and Geoffrey so i think she would coexist with tyrion and he would become warden of the west because jaime isnt there or available to inherit and tyrion would be supported by cersei who would rather he controlls lanister finances and ect.. rather then kevin still tyrion and Geoffrey would have conflict and tyrion might be removed as hand
It may not have changed anything. As Jaqen pointed out only death is certain - time is not. Tywinn might have met his demise years after Arya said his name.
Absolutely. I don't think Kevan hates Tyrion or anything. I think that's a brilliant thought about Casterly Rock!
You may be right about that, sir
What if Rhaegar Targaryen survived and fled Westeros with his siblings and Jon?
Nice suggestion!
He would of came back eventually

Good question. I wonder if he would’ve kept Viserys from going mad, thus preventing his death? 🤔
What if Catelyn actually loved Jon like one of her own?
(Ned still doesn't tell her the truth about Jon's true parentage)
Ashley Johnson This would raise question like why does lady stark love ned bastard and not hate, this is not dorne, people will grow odd about this.
Jon snow would still go to the wall because of benjen stark.
books from Windblown Jon wouldn’t be so into redheads because he got a mother’s love. So they’d be no Ygritte session and he’d keep his vows.
That would be jon stark then
What if Tywin had respected Tyrion and named him Lord of Casterly Rock in his stead and Tyrion went back to casterly rock to rule when Tywin took over as hand of the king?
This comment is a bit long but I tried to say all the major implications of Cersei being at Casterly rock and not in Kings Landing.
It Could be interesting as her antics in Kings Landing certainly did a lot of bad however I don't think that Tywin would ever trust her with The Rock. Tywin knows that she is not a smart political strategist. He tells her "I don't distrust you because you're a woman, I distrust you because you're not as smart as you think you are." As much as he disliked Tyrion he recognized his potential to play the game of thrones, he sent him to Kings landing in the first place so that he could rein in Cersei's, "madness and stupidity."
However I think it is likely that Tywin had planned to send Cersei back to Casterly Rock at some point as evidenced by the fact that Kevan lannister tries to do exactly that after Tywin's death.
What if Tyrion didn't kill his mother at birth.
Alll the possibilties!!!!
What if Elia, Aegon and Rhaenys were sent with Dany and her brother to Dragon Stone?
I think all five would've died since two are easier to hide than five.
it would be like to know, but there is no chance to figure out what would they grow up or would they even survive till they are grown ups. Too little info about them.
What if Arya makes it to the wall with Yoren and all those people?
Ayeee that's a good one! :)

what if lady Catelyn did not meet/capture Tyrion at the inn?
strihoun then the whole war, wouldn't have started.
Or what if Bronn hadn't been there at the inn when Catelyn took Tyrion prisoner?
@@goofymuffin Tyrion would die and the vale would be a target of the Lannisters. Balish would try to insert himself in the vale earlier, ect
Your English sounds great, Thaise!
little correction. Winterfell doesn't burn. This was Ramsey doing, with the boltons on the stark side he has no reason for burn winterfell.
Reasonable thought!
Thanks for the comment my friend
what if robb stark beheaded jaime lannister after his first escape(when he kills his cousin and the karstark boy)
Excellent idea!!
medo sowoud The red wedding would still happens and sansa would have her head chopped off.
Wow, I remembered that I was screaming for her to choose' the Mountain ' because Tywin was been nice to her.
Thanks for the video !
SO WAS I! The Mountain was terrible. I was all for Tywin being killed at first but then you LOVE him after seeing he and Arya's relationship!
What if Robb declared for Stannis?
Would've totally changed the outcome I think! Shame too. They both wanted generally the same thing, but Stannis couldn't handle the idea of a sovereign North (rightfully so).
What if Ned Stark allows Loras Tyrell to go after Gregor Clegane when he volunteers for the task, instead of giving the duty to Beric Dondarrion? Could have a lot of repercussions.
oo000ooo that could've changed it for sure! Lots of the Tyrell stuff would've been different with the Lannisters. Good observation!
That's gooood.

TheBattProductions Then the Brotherhood without banners will capture them, then she would meet her sister then be ransomed to lady stark or lord Robb stark? or Lysa in the vale?
@@TheBattProductions you should use some arrows or charts to show the differences in the timelines for these what ifs
@@mohammadahmad9258 Not a bad idea...probably nightmare to edit, but worth it if I think it'll increase the experience a lot more!
Totally agreed!
Didn’t Sansa run to her bed chambers and lock it. I reckon Stannis would’ve used her to get Robb to yield. With the Lannisters gone, he probably would’ve.
@@feelgood2994 Yeah Stannis woudln't let Robb keep his throne, Robb wouldn't go to war once he gets his sister back
I like how you started to incorporate actual scenes from the show into these videos, makes it more enjoyable :)
Well thank you! It's a little more work, but I think I'm going to keep doing that more often if it really makes your experience more enjoyable.
I feel sorry for Arya in the end if she did end up with the Mountain in that scenario.
Absolutely!!!!! Would've been just terrible.
Wouldn't Petyr Baelish have intervened in that case?
Probably not, no. I'm not sure how he could've.
Mikayla Barton She was not caught by the Mountain. She would've gone free with the drama of Tywin's death unfolding.
At least her brother and mother would probably be alive :P
What if Arya didn't save Jaqen H'ghar.
That's a good one in itself! Mostly with just Arya's life, though.
I feel like in this situation the Tyrells would have offered Margaery to Robb to ally with the Starks because had Tywin died a Stark victory would have seemed much more likely
What if Jon Snow accepts Stannis' offer, bends the knee and rises as Jon Stark? (this one was highly requested in the previous vids also) :)
Perhaps I will have to think about this one differently! Would've definitely changed the direction for sure
Or to leave after that.
spot on I can't get enough of these videos you really know you're game of thrones I'm truly impressed I hope you enjoy making them it looks like fun
Absolutely did the best she could. Arya did a very smart thing, despite being dishonorable.
@@TheBattProductions this is a bit late, I admit.
As for Arya being dishonorable; she hasn't forgotten that Ned's sense of honor is one of the major things that got him killed. She is learning to play the game. She knows there's no room for any honor if she means to play to win.

Totally! That's a great suggestion Lumpy
I don't know. Cersei would probably have strangled the life out of her the moment she heard the news.

I always love your videos. This is a particularly good one. Only problem I see is that Rob never wanted the Iron Throne. He just wanted the north recognized as its own kingdom, separate from the crown.
Why thank you RP :)
I know that's what Robb wanted, but man when you get that chair...changes minds!
Haha Good point! His people may even have driven him to it, just like how they named him King of the North.
How long have you had the new intro? First I've noticed it. This is an awesome question. Changes so much, even at the wall.
This is only the 2nd vid I've uploaded with it (so two weeks).
Absolutely. The Wall probably doesn't change as much as other stuff, but definite changes for sure!
Stannis takes king's Landing I can't see him going North which means Mance probably takes the wall, unless Rob comes to the rescue.
I have another great what if scenario!! What if Rob Stark left to go take back Winterfell after he found out about the news about the Iron born?
Instead of the Boltons? Oooo I don't know...I'll have to think. Immediately I think it's still bad, but never know!
Thanks, Denis!
The first time the Oberyn Martell said "you graped her!" The video went to a commercial saying "with casade plus" lol
Just had a thought for a what if video. What if Stevron Frey survived the battle of Oxcross? A bit left field I know but may have changed how things turned out for Robb.
it was said he reasonable man and would talk his father out of Red Wedding
I actually love Tywin but I do think the Boltons would still have rebelled because the Iron born were the ones that had them lying to rob before the red wedding
You're saying the Boltons had the Greyjoys lie to Robb?
no, the Boltons were already lying about the Iron born situation in winterfell before the red wedding. If rob marched south, I think the boltons would have still took winterfell and joined up with the freys
I'm genuinely not recalling what they lied about. Which lie was that, Jareka? Other than Ramsay burning it of course.

God damn it Arya, you had ONE JOB!
Heheheheheheheh
Also, Dany wouldnt have found out about Jorah's betrayal.
What if:
Bran didn't see Cersei and Jaime doing it in the tower in Winterfell
I have sort of done this one actually! (Sort of - not sure it's exactly what you want)
ua-cam.com/video/apPAgU_nZ2c/v-deo.html&index=12&list=PLA4WFGBMDvToByexOyYhWLwKVAtV51pyx
Why did the Lannisters hate the brotherhood without banners so much that they tortured random people to find out about them
Well Robb wouldn't take the Iron Throne, he always said he'd just lop of Joffrey's head, because he was the King in the North, not the King on the Iron Throne.
What if Tyrion joins the Night's Watch instead of demanding a trial by combat?
Excellent suggestion Tim!!!
Pretty crazy to think that some producers wanted to make a single film for each book back before the series began
I've always wondered this!!!
(And what if Cercei married Rhaegar lol)
I always said that if Arya had fully known the strategic opportunity she was given with the option to merc Tywin, things would have been a lot different.
What if Hodor was a dragon. All hail His Grace, Hodor, First of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of Doors.
Tywin wasn' the one who made the deal with Cat, it was Tyrion.
Always wondered this, thanks for answering this question.
You're welcome !
:)
tyrion may have offered peace after blackwater. There was no chance of winning for the starks once stannis was out of the picture,so robb may have accepted it.So jamie may still have lived and but sansa would have been a hostage. And all of westeros would be preparing to fight the white walkers or dany or both.
Good thoughts Krishna!
In the Scene where Jamie and Bronn are training, Yeah Jamie is going to be the one pushing Bronn around,
Jamie goes with Bronn to get Marcella in Dorne.
That makes a lot of sense! Excellent suggestion.
Thank you, Dragon! :)
When edmure captured harrenhall she could have been saved
Sure.
what about the grayjoys? do you think Theon would have still betrayed Rob?
Deathmatch idea- Oberyn Martell vs Daemon Blackfyre
Well that one still may happen! I believe those two are still alive in my tournament! :)
You should redo this video with a book version!
But then again Jaquen could have killed him after the battle or even later because he said himself that it could be years until he killed a name.
#Rewatching and... Omg, Kevin. You look ao different without your beard.
Worth the wait!!!
I'M SO GLAD, ah!
Thanks for the comment, Aidan
Didn’t she name Tywin in the books but Jaqen said it couldn’t be done immediately?
Modern AU! What if Toni Topaz and Josie McCoy are wards of House Martell
Harrenhal would've had its 'kill everyone who takes refuge' record until Roose got there, for whatever reason he would.
Quite possibly! Unless he doesn't think much of Tywin and is too cocky to understand.
Question: What if Arya had picked Ser Ilyn, Cersei, or the Mountain?
What if Stannis Baratheon 3 sons survive?
Ah that would've been great. I wonder how long-term if would affect it. I'll consider it! :)
Thanks Puhtis
Loved it!
Thanks Sean! :)
Okay im not sure if u did this one.. i cant recall.. But what if Jon isnt brought back to life by Melisandre and her red god
I have not done this one because I don't think it's been long enough to give a reasonable outcome. I'll have to wait until the show is over for this probably.
Rob Stark was the best choice, with exception to possibly Renley. But we don't know that kuch about him.
What if Margaery Tyrell evacuated everyone in time?
She didn't name multiple Lannister guards she named jaqan and said she'd remove him if he helped her escape
