SonicProjects OP-X PRO-3 virtual Oberheim OB-X Jupiter-8 Prophet-5 clone demonstrating some of the 3'000 built-in presets.

OP-X PRO-3 version 1.0.3 with blue skin installed
The stereo output of OP-X PRO-3 is directly recorded to disk.
No external treatment of any kind involved.

Famous 80s sounds:
Just demoed a few to show off their general quality. There's a total of 475 famous 80s patches included!
The 1_FAMOUS folder offers a best-of with 128 selected patches.
Upon scrolling all way down in the banks (left pane) until "F ---- famous A-Z ----" there's an alphabetically sorted collection of 475 famous 80s patches!

The only limitations are:
- Repeated soft audio fade-out-ins
- Plugin needs to be loaded anew after 20 minutes of use
OP-X PRO-3 - even when originally inspired by the OB-X - due to all its features is capable of emulating the typical sounds of almost any analog synth of the past. Don't look - listen and then judge!

This has to be one of the most sonically accurate VST emulations ever made.
That sound from The Camera Eye, man it was good. I maintain that OPX PRO is just about the best analogue synth emulation I've ever heard.

Yup. Time to upgrade. Thanks for the interface update and expanded skin colors (that mustard was rough). I was always miffed as to why OP-X Pro did not get mentioned more often as the "go to" emulation after the OBX-8 was launched. Sonically, IMO no other emulation holds a candle to the SOUND of this -- period. And I have the "others" --some of which are damn good. Nice work SonicProjects!

I've been an OP-X Pro II user for years and I love it! When I heard about version 3 and all it has to offer, I quickly upgraded without reading first the macOS requirements of 10.15+. Alas, I've been running 10.13.6 (High Sierra) on my early 2011 MacBook Pro for years with no issues. That's the highest OS for this Mac. Looks like I may have to upgrade to a newer Mac, not only to run OP-X Pro 3, but there are some other music software titles I would like that require a newer OS. Nonetheless, great work SonicProjects team!

I downloaded this two weeks ago to be used with Logic Pro. It sounds absolutely AMAZING and has some of the elusive sounds that I've been searching for for years (including Thomas Dolby's intro in "Waiting for a Girl Like You")! I thought all of the sounds were spot on except for maybe one or two (and the Simple Mind's "Don't You Forget About Me" Oberheim sound wasn't as robust as most of the others). Regardless, it is worth every penny.
The installation is not very easy, however. In fact, I was surprised that I even got it to work. Additionally, the interface is a little quirky. - it almost feels like MS-DOS.

I can't seem to find the 3000. There many folders but i cannot import them. (using the grey IMPORT button). Are the reloads the 2500 old presets ??

BEWARE IF YOU USE REASON: It will not run. About 1-2 notes in, endless sustain (notes get stuck). It's a Reason problem, not SonicProjects. Just bought Pro 3 last night and super-disappointed. Can't use it until this issue is fixed. If you use Reason, submit a ticket (I did). Hoping for a patch. I want to love this.
