Depends on the game, if it uses more than 512MB RAM. This computer is really not that powerful and will most likely not run most games that even need 1GB. So no I don't think adding more RAM is needed.

Im betting you the CPU was bottlenecking the GPU on this set of tests and as well as upgrading the CPU i would also stick in more RAM
