    Still running a overclocked Q9550 along with a GTX770 today. Its enough for GTA V, Coding in Visual Studio and eclipse and Medium FullHD Video Editing (with Premiere Pro and After effects)

      The Q9550 is a very nice CPU with it's 2.83GHz clock and 12MB L2 cache, also how is your OC?

    Absolutely Brilliant Video. Really loved to see all the benchmarks across both OSs. Best video I've seen on this topic, and the reason for the Chinese Drivers is because until recently with the popularity of PUBG and Fortnite on China's E-Cafe Scene a vast majority of games played.
    E.g: Dota, Star Craft, CSGO, Etc ... Could all work on Windows XP with less need for licensing, and less OS Overhead, aswell as a lack of need to update how the network worked.... So yeah for quite a while China was using Windows XP.

      I try to make it as brilliant as I possibly can! 😁
      And when I found out about this coffee driver I knew that it had to be included so benchmarks across the two OSes was a must in my opinion!
      Also can't thank you enough for the shout out ☺️

      @@computercatgaming02 Good Video👍 Just a small thing that I found out, is if you can use software like Audacity to improve the quality of your audio, the content can be a lot better. No offence, but I found it less convenient to hear you during some parts of the video. Maybe it's just me and I'm unable to get the accent, but still thought of letting you know.

    I also have Q6700 paired with XFX HD 7770 and 4GB of RAM in a PC I built few months ago. I got case, motherboard and RAM for free, and there was E5300 inside. Then I got Q6700 for like 10$, and HD 7770 for like 30$. I also threw in 320GB hard drive from my old laptop, and for OS I'm using 120GB Kingston SSD I had just laying around, and yes I run Ubuntu on it. And so far so good, only thing I need to fix is heat that Q6700 produces, and then it will be a decent machine.

    So you are telling us, that you have 8 GB of RAM and you are using 32-bit Windows? Isn’t that a waste of RAM?

    • @computercatgaming02
      @computercatgaming02  5 років тому +2

      In 32-bit XP yes, in 64-bit Windows 7 no.
      Yes 8GB of RAM is unnecessary for Windows Xp and it's applications but it's very nice to have when doing allot in Windows 7 so I don't see it as a waste.
