Inez is a legend and immediately has a huge impact on jar of flies right after joining the band, bigger impact on that record than Starr had on facelift/sap/dirt combined. Inez is an important part of why JoF’s is the best EP of all time, the bass in that record is soooo good
Easily one of the most underrated drummers ever, may not be the most technical guy out there but he writes fantastic drums for the music which matters more than anything and he’s a great performer live.

I miss Layne to be sure. That said, thank God for William DuVall. That guy has ably filled Layne's shoes and brought something entirely new. AIC is a good as ever.
That’s because he is a veteran professional, he’s been active in AIC for longer than Layne was and has been playing with Jerry for 20 years now. His extra guitar was really great for their live sound too, fantastic musician and there is nobody better on the planet to try and fill the void that Layne left behind, most importantly similar to Layne he has phenomenal chemistry with Jerry which has always been the backbone of the band.
This is one of my favorite songs of all time. When I was the Best Man at my friend's wedding, he gave me an engraved flask with the following lyric on it: "You my friend, I will defend And if we change, well I love you anyway."

Mad props to the coverbands loved it all but just reminded me how amazing AIC are, seen them last year in NZ and was hands down my favourite concert I have been too, which was a surprise as I'm such a huge Metallica and Tool fan and seeing them I thought was my going be the highlight of the concerts I have been too.
