Wow!!! I think grunge era was the best era of music ever. It describe all of us lost souls and gave me meaning to myself. Billy Strings you just showed the world just how special and how music needed Layne Staley but most importantly how Layne Staley touched all music lovers. I was and always will be in love with Nirvanas music and Nirvana, peral jam, temple of the dog and Chris Cornell saved me in high school and college. But 17 years later following my divorce, it was Mad Season and Alice n Chains that saved me. So Mr Billy Strings I wish u would cover all the bands because you sing their songs with the same passion. You killed it brother and I have never heard a cover that had any passion, so thank you

I've wore out three copies of that album and own all their other albums. Layne just had that intangible talent about him along with a unique voice that cannot be duplicated. Alcohol by the gallons, drugs by the truckload, anxiety, depression. Along with huge anger issues. Even bigger issues with self destruction.... Before my daughter was born. I believe that when you're high and/or drunk. Every. Single. Day. You have no control of the events in your life.. this is where the blind luck came in ... I'm 61years old now. My daughter is 20....
