Goojlla didnt expand enough and focused on attacking while jaedong stayed patient defended and expanded like everywhere. Kal shouldve just taken control of the top of map and kept the income coming in around the mid game. GG
I can't believe Goojlla gave up, he was very relentless, one of the most aggressive players I've ever seen, although Jaedong was very resilient, he contained waves and waves of heavy equipped squads (with lots or archons, templars and reavers), he defeated almost every single one of them and kept his composure till the end, I thought for some moments that Jaedong would be defeated, this one should have the epic tag, it was amazing from beginning to end!
If Goojila would have gone south to destroy the undefended Jaedong main base, he would have destroyed the tech and won. Imagine with Terran, you would have had a free scan scout.
Dark archon is useful unit in late PvZ game. It is used to maelstrom on hydras, or snipe defiler. But most of the gamer don't use more than one dark archon tho.

I'm always surprised at those progamers who ever used dark archons, scouts, ghosts, queens and devourers in the matches. let's see what it could be this time... ever watched a PvZ who also did this but he instead, did an archon rush. (archon+dark archon)

Goojilla played that so amazing. But JaeDong's macro, persistence and dark swarms were just unbeatable. Definitely seemed almost like a Zerg version of Flash in this one - unbeatable.

Since i play every day SC campaign ( specially the same map 5 of broodwar game to improve the time ), i'm very interested of watching pros playing SC Broodwar campaign ! I know and saw some speed runners doing it, so i want pros to see what they do.
Hey Falcon! I know this video is old but just a heads up. Nine pool is not an indication that the zerg intends to do early harassment. This is an opener to deal with the fact that protoss will often drop a pylon onto the natural expansion of the zerg. With 9 pool, you get six lings early to clear it out so your natural isn't denied. The six lings usually scout and hang out trying to catch a wandering zelot, but they'll typically never actually knock on the front door due to the fact that protoss typically open with forge fast expand.
What happened to PLAY-GOO!!! ? :D BTW, regarding the zerg supply lag thing, Goojilla was up by 50% for a lot of this game. (It's more pronouced in ZvP.)

I saw a game where one high-level player mind-controled an SCV and built a base. Not too impressive, you say? Well, I didn't mention it was a game of SC2 😄 Yes, he kept casting and casting on the SCV until the CC was complete. Obviously the Zerg had the upper hand when he started it but the Terran wasn't quite done yet. I think it was one of the old Husky casts.
I wonder if they ever do 3v3 pro games: the races get pretty horribly imbalanced in sets of 2 but 1 of each on 2 teams of 3 would make for a hell of a game.

Protoss have highest HP and Damage on average for a high cost, though it is balanced in starcraft, it may not appear so because often protoss lack numbers and that makes it a bit easier to throw down some carnage
James Matskogv I play Starcraft and I understand how that works in sc2, but I feel it’s a bit powerful in sc1. (Probably because I don’t play it often)
Zerg's advantage is in numbers and flanks; but because of the 12 unit selection limitation, controlling zerg requires you to select and control twice as much as a protoss does.
Valkyries has very low damage vs Carriers and other high armor units. Some ask for ghosts wich has no hp almost and is very micro and apm taxing, plus not that usefull when protoss combines in alot of goons and dt`s. Goliaths and turrets together with tanks and few vultures is the best answer, emp would been very usefull in mid- to lategame. Wraiths is not that cost effective either unless protoss makes only carriers, without mass goons. Also a big mass of wraiths gets very easy countered by corsair, archon and high templars + they suck against goons :) Game was all over fine =) Give credit to protoss for outmicroing his oponent.
Also battle cruisers was mentioned, but they are slower than carriers and gets outmicroed at an higher level, plus they are very vulnerable to storm and statis field :)
I think whoever designed the valkyrie forgot that the interceptors don't actually maintain continuity between launches: it despawns the unit and makes a new one when it launches again, damage and even permanent status effects (like parasite or blind) don't carry over...might just be exclusively intended for mutalisk overlord and wraith clumps but I seriously doubt it...if you could attack empty air they would get a *lot* more utility but even then they wouldn't be all that great. huh: I can't remember what happens when you mind control an interceptor...probably just tells you it's an invalid target. ps: battlecruisers can get out macroed by carriers, you don't even need to micro: the carrier moves and works faster than the battlecruisers, battlecruisers end them (and just about anything else) in a fight but they can't force protoss to try that fight unless you get a huge positioning advantage to start, stuff like stasis field is the real reason they never get used though.
If I buy over Blizzard, I will implement three changes. First, Infested Terran Splash Damage Range is increased to that of Reaver's Scarab. Second, Sunken Colonies be returned to 400 HP and 1 Armour. Third and lastly, Ultralisks gain base 3 Armour. I have my reasons for this, if anyone wishes to know, just reply here. Infested Terrans also do full damage while under the Dark Swarm, instead of just Splash Damage. One more thing: Zealots be returned to 80 HP and 80 Shields. And the Scourge should be slightly faster in speed, while finally, the Sunken Colony's attack should be unaffected by Dark Swarm.
keep in mind that in classic SC there's limited unit selection, cannot add buildings to unit groups, and no auto-mining. It's part of why the skill involved in SC1 is so ruthless and unforgiving and "no limit" compared to SC2.
@@FalconPaladin Because of the economy. When Goojilla lost his 5th at 24:30 he mined out almost all resources in other bases. I think he shouldn't even go for JD natural which was already empty, but just hold that position and build 5th and 6th base as soon as possible.
