New subscriber here. I love seafood and there is nothing better than to catch and cook your own. I am retired and told my wife that if we lived on the Gulf Coast I would either go fishing, shrimping or crabbing every day! But, unfortunately I live in central Arkansas a good 8 hour drive from Galveston or Port Arthur. We love to go visit our relatives in the Houston - Galveston area. We usually go in early November, tourist season is over, and our various relatives have several beach houses that we can stay in for free! But when we go, I get the relatives to take us to their favorite seafood restaurants and I pay in exchange for the free stay! I do love fresh seafood! Shrimp, crab and oysters are the BEST!
Thanks a lot for Subscribing we appreciate it. I hope you're able to do some fishing and crabbing when you're in Texas and take some fish or crabs back to Arkansas. Thanks again for Watching our videos
Joyce gets the prize for the biggest catch of the day!! I don't think he will fit in your steamer Joyce, but you guys ended up with a very nice mess of crabs. You all have got me ready to move to FL and I would in a heartbeat if I could afford to move. I am dead serious about wanting to move. Nothing close to crabs except crawfish in the mountains of East Tennessee. Thank you guys for all the great videos and stay safe.
Your vid reminded me of my younger days crabbing on the tributaries of the conn. river at the long Island sound. If the flats weren't biting then we'd go inland and fish for crabs the same way you did this day. Oh boy I could smell that boil all the way over here in the Tampa area. Thanks for the memories of my youth! I'm 73 now and havn't crabbed in years but I wish i was!
Glad we were able to bring back some good memories. If you are in good health you should do some crabbing it's year round here . We're 76 and love going crabbing.

Nice day out there Sam. Im not sure right were your at but another UA-camr crabs at that exact spot and his best day he caught 42 crabs. All good size. Hope you had fun.

I really like your videos....Even though I thought I knew how to catch crabs with a hand line, I've seen the type of nets you use AND the way you use the net to "Sneak up" on the crabs from the rear!!! Real crafty if I must say!!!! I always used the 4 sided traps....I never thought much of the cloth ring traps until I started watching you guys. There's a whole new world waiting for me out there !!! Thanks for the lessons!!! lol
We were out there today. So was the gator and his little brother. Caught a few, mostly small, but it's ok cuz they will become bait tomorrow. Also found a ring trap someone left. Gator must've forced a speedy evacuation, and they left without it.
