He sure improved his piano from 84. This version is great.
He's probably too sick to do it now, but I always wanted him to do a dressed down album like this. Just one vigorous clapback at his detractors to show barebones how good of a songwriter he was.
😮Россия Санкт Петербург 2024г ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Piano or drums... Same power. Same talent. Same genius.
And voice too!
He's washed up now
@@RobertJamesChinneryHwell, that's one way to put his major ill health, the talent is locked inside, physically unable to play.
@@annieheath9310agreed, a bit disrespectful to put it like that as he had said it. If it wasn't for his ill health he would have still been able to perform on the drums and piano. Keep in mind he played all of the instruments on his album 'Both Sides of The Story' as well as the producing.
Robert James, dude...u'll get old, 😊maybe 😮
Everybody always forgets how good this song is until his first line, and then they're like, "...banger"
I don't know how anyone could forget how great this song is. One of my all-time favorite songs...so powerful.
I adore the sound of the piano Phil played on this very good live rendition of what is highly likely his most noted tune as a solo artist.
And it's hard to believe how simple in fact this song is and how little is happening there. It's just three chords over and over again.
Phil Collins is truly amazing 🎉🎉 His vocals are phenomenal 🎉🎉 I would love to have been there 🎉🎉
Same old bloody song sounds good to me!
Prime Phil at the piano. Thank you for sharing this.
Never heard this before..just his voice and a piano...XXXXXXXX
I was at this. What a night. Royalty and Rock Royalty - and an arena full of plebs.
he can feel it coming
in the air tonight ooh lawd
iiRachel Madness i’ve been waiting for this moment all my life ooh yeah
Yeah! I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life!
This is a great song. Phil gets a lot of grief for some of his songs (maybe some of his later work), but look at his work with Genesis and his first 2 solo albums and the work he has done with others. It's a GREAT body of work with great song writing.
the piano version is my favourite.
Brilliant Phil Collins great songwriter, pianist and drummer ❤❤ love this song with him playing the piano
"Life is Art, music love Art"
i have this dvd for many years!!!! i had the vhs too: Phil Collins is amazing with his drum fills, breaks but
but here on piano :)
Phil playing elton's steinway piano
That was Elton's old model D Steinway that he had used from 1979-1986 regularly with a one off show at the Grosvenor Hotel in 1990 alongside three more times at the Ft. Lauderdale shows during his '93 solo tour with percussionist Ray Cooper. Phil always used a Yamaha CP-80 when it came to playing songs on the piano such as Against All Odds, Another Day In Paradise, Colours ect.
@@bluerazor7049 thank you! I love the sound of that piano very distinctive on the Live in Australia album. Very metallic sound.
Top Class Genius
Phil Collins est l'un des meilleurs ... 🎉
Brilliant.
Great acoustic version
Belle chanson très jolies agréable J'adore merci à phil Collins
My late brother recorded me this song on a sony 60m cassette with big country level 42 suzanne vega back in 1986
Cool didn't know about this version, It resembles the version in the -sadly- not officially published unplugged concert he did. Can be found on UA-cam though!
We need those drums bro. I been waiting for it. 🤣
Thanks a lot I lov these charity concerts! with so many stars!
I've been waiting
Con este video descubro que Phil Collins además, toca el piano.
Самая большая любовь ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Талантище! Мощь!
❣❣❣
This is a good version but I definitely missed the drums!
My favourite live version is the one from Finally...The First Farewell Tour, where he teases the audience as to whether he's going to get to the drums in time.
Saudosismo. É O que posso dizer
Todo mundo espera pelo momento da bateria. Fui tapeado. 😒
So dissatisfied @ 3:48
i waited for drums w reverb
No drums?
Without the drum fill the song is 1/10th as good. Still great though.
Not the same without the paint tin....
Such an anticlimactic version.
