I used one of those a few years ago on my F250. It worked great. Next issue was that the flow was so good that I had to put a ball calk valve on the inlet . Leave valve open in the winter and then turn off in the summer. Too much heat inside the cab in the summer. My grandson has the truck now and still uses the setup. I gave him the F250 when I got my F350.

I had the jakobs exhaust brake on my 06 and it sounded just like that. It was funny with stacks and tractor flaps. When the brake would activate, it would suck the tractor flaps flat

I love that you’re trying this setup and EB option. I’m looking forward to see how it works for you. I’ve always hated the aftermarket EB’s for the simple fact you need to run air. That sounds soooooo good I like it.
Are there any back pressure adjustments on it? I had the BD on my setup and they had a regulator that you could adjust how aggressive it was just so you didn't float a valve as well... Or is it strictly what the computer tells it to do?

it's a shame the cummins is in the Ram. The Ram while polished and fancy looking just won't last. My buddy has a 19' and that piece of shit is already falling apart. Screen is delaminating, buttons are wearing off, electrical issues, trans is clunking. Piece of shit.

I've had the issue 3 times in my 2014. It showed up after the dealership did the water pump recall. Finally it hasn't come back this year. Its the casting sands plugging it up. All it takes is the 40-60psi of water psi supplied by your spigot. You can buy some brass hose adapters and 5/8 clear hose from the hardware store for cheap and flow it into a five gallon bucket with a hole drilled into the lid for the water to bleed out and it will catch everything in the bucket even the fine sands since they have time to settle like that.

4th Gen RAM trucks did not use the recommended factory coolant for the factory fill. You can open any 4th gen coolant reservoir and find brown gunk in it. I did testing on several new trucks versus the Mopar coolant and they are different. Change your coolant early. The stuff they put in from the factory is junk.
What set up are you running as far as turbo and exhaust brake? I talked to fleece and they claim those parts dont fit together which I assumed was a 2nd gen swap fleece turbo and down pipe exhaust brake...?

Can you please do a follow up on the heater core fix? I’m having the same issue and I’m being told the heater core needs to be replaced. Don’t feel like tearing the dash out to fix it just yet. And it’s getting cold here in Indiana! Love the content as always, sir!

Also, running some CLR in there for 10 minutes and letting it sit helped before flushing fully.

Hey Greg, I noticed that your EGzt probe is before the turbo. What brand of probe are you running and what do you see for EGT's when pulling? The reason I'm asking is because my stock 3rd gen with an Autometer setup will bury the needle when loaded, and runs around 850 degrees empty. When I hammer it empty I can drop the needle to 12 to 13 hundred degrees. If you have any suggestions or ideas I would greatly appreciate it.
2 questions, you probably had some seat time with it, but how much stronger and louder is it than factory vgt brake? It seems to sound more like a deeper sound than the stock brake.
Let me know where you get one federal regs say you can't make em' due to noise abatement for anything under 10 liters. Otherwise they would be readily available and Jacobs would have em' them stock and on the market.
I just installed this on mine and I'm having an issue. The EB works when it wants to. Sometimes it'll kick on, most times it won't. But it'll work in tow haul. I don't feel this is any better than a stock EB. Are you having any issues like this?

Hey, why do you not install the CUMMINS bypass coolant filter system with the bracket... it mounts behind the P/S fog lamp perfectly.
