There's a firmware update for the radio that should move the backup camera on to the main screen if you prefer it there. 2014-2015 (and maybe 2016) trucks had it up in the mirror like that.
SB makes a solid well tested and designed clutch. Their customer service is excellent and they have done me right in the past. As it stands..I will never use anyone else.
Assuming a lot here, but if that's the same truck I am thinking of there are some oddball/clever internals inside of that G56, at least that's what I was told many years ago.
Also, I've hung out with Delton a few times. He's a genuine, knowledgeable, and great fella. Good to see he's well.
My 98 12 valve makes 518 at the wheels and I've been running the Southbend dual disc Street clutch since I built the thing and 2014. 100,000 miles on it so far and it hasn't missed a beat!
Great video, "D" that color is an Intrepid original color. sort of difficult color to shoot! shot it at Sikkens paint school in King Of Prussia years ago maybe 30 years! damn! love SBC.
Almost my dream truck right there. Dually megacab Longhorn is the sweet spot. With the G56, of course. My current truck is in Prairie Green (5.7 Hemi). Didn't realize how rare they were when I bought it new, but I don't think I've ever seen another one that color and there are a TON of Rams here in Florida. Same bark brown and tan interior, too. Still dreaming of owning a Gen-4 G56 someday, but they're getting harder and harder to find.
The cummins is known for flywheel bolts backing out even when torqued to spec.. thats why after you add power you have to loctite the shit out of them and get arp bolts and torque them beyond factory spec and even then they can sometimes come loose. 😊❤ absolutely love the paint color on that truck. When i bought my 04 i was looking for atleast a qc long bed but all i could find in a decent time frame, was a qc regualr bed... i love long trucks from my first truck was a quad cab long bed obs ford and from thst point on i love long trucks haha ❤ i am keeping my eye out for a 3rd gen mega cab long bed thats the truck i really want. But they all look awesome in long bed form❤
Shop that put my trans in my megacab dually left my flywheel bolts loose not once but twice, now my 3k mile trans is jacked up. Im not gonna mention them, just live and ya learn i guess.
you don't lubricate the release bearing, but you can lightly lubricate the input shaft housing that the bearing sleeve slides on, that won't sling off because that doesn't spin.
Might mess around and go swap my transmission out after this..too pumped up!! The quality of the videos anymore is on another level!
Love the color, mine is a 2013 factory g56 and it’s burnt orange metallic don’t know if that was a rare color for that year but I haven’t seen another one like it

I’ve had South Bend clutch in my 06 g56 Dodge 3500 for about 10 years. Flawless. Love it 👍💪🏻🇺🇸
Mine is a 2012 2500 4x4 CCSB with Cummins and G56 manual. 228K miles on it (bought new with 2 miles), I've had a South Bend dual disc in mine for about 100K miles before the throw out bearing went. Turns out that the dealer I had install (South Bend dealer) it didn't remove the spacer in it that you need to remove when installing a dual disc clutch, replacing the OEM clutch.
Love the odd color, my truck is the same way was only available for the 3/4 -1 tons for a couple years.
What about chatter? Bronze typically causes more chatter, its a nicer material and engages great with being more aggressive, but what did they do to help chatter noise? ❤

Will the South Bend Super street hold an estimated 800 rwhp with a set of compounds? Just curious because I recently put compounds on my Mega cab and am going to need to do a clutch to hold it for a dyno number. The dual disc Valair definitely isn't going to do the job. 😢😅

I had my south bend floater plate come apart and crack my bell housing. I switched to a Valair and am liking it much better. This new clutch you got looks neat tho, I’m just scared of having to replace my transmission again when the floater plate grenades

And soon it will get painted black otherwise it's a future give away lol. I'm kind of 50/50 when it comes to Southbend Clutches. I have one in my 06 and it's annoying noisey and it has very low miles and I even replaced the buttons. But it holds great and customer service is top notch.

It's a 2015 RAM 2500 crew cab long bed with a G56. Similar to the 2008 Cummins, the color of this truck is different.
