Congratulations on the glucose number! Did you have weight you wanted to lose? Many people don’t realize these ways of eating are weight optimizing. Eating to satiety can help move the needle in a desirable direction, whichever that may be. If you hoped to lose, check Dr. Berry’s videos about reasons for stalled weight loss.

Did you measure your waist? I think it's more telling than plain weight. I was almost underweight before, but still lost 4 inches (and gained some muscle).

@@wocket42 I agree 100%. Too many people focus on the scale number when it's not important. I tell people doing carnivore to take waist measurements and use that to gauge success. I lost 5 inches off my waist just switching from keto to carnivore.

I have been carnivore since the last week in March this year, about five months in at seventy three. While my weight loss has been less than some, forty-four lbs with one hundred to go, the health benefits have been impressive. to the fellow who was asking about kidney disease I was diagnosed with stage three kidney disease. My labs at the end of May showed a normal creatinine, a normal GFR and a slightly elevated BUN. The BUN may be influenced by a higher protein diet. My labs from Monday showed even more improved creatinine and a BUN that is now one point above the normal range. So my kidney disease is now gone, So for the poster who was asking about if carnivore was safe for a kidney disease sufferer, In my case it wasn't just safe it was curative.

Thank you Dr. Berry. You and your wife Niesha have helped so many!❤ I wanted to share how my aunt was a hiker. She was an early member of the Sierra Club back in the '30s, back when it was a hiking club. She wound up hiking all around the world. She was strong and healthy all her life, got her PhD and taught in college, lived a full life and kept her mind all the way up to 105. She told me she lived on mostly fish. Her freezer was full of frozen fish.

Almost two years ago I sprinted chasing my runaway shopping cart that was aimed for a parked car. Finally catching the cart, I stumbled and fell to my knees, was dragged several feet stopping just inches from that car (whose owner was sitting in it). Whew! I don't recommend using knees as brakes. ☹

Even chemist who filled my new low Crestor Script, said he very rarely sees people getting onto lower levels, rather they cycle to worse Metabolic health. I couldn’t be happier….. 😊

I was sprinting ( just for a few minutes) around a basket ball court at age 73, chasing a basket ball. It sure was fun until I came down with a twist on my right foot and got a very painful inflamed knee. Had to sit for days with ice on it. This was at the gym; I was there today, looking wistfully at a young couple playing basket ball.

After a year of being a dedicated vegan - no animal products- which I adopted after a cancer diagnosis thinking it was the best diet on the planet, I had my blood work done which came back frighteningly terrible. Triglycerides tripled, LDL doubled, A1C doubled over previous year. Luckily my physician told me to eat no more than 20g net carbs which totally baffled me- until I listened to Dr. Berry. After a few weeks my BP which always hovered at 140/90 even on meds- suddenly dropped to 117/75! Blood work will be repeated in October…. Also the ketocarn diet I’m eating is sooooo much easier than all those grains, veggies and fruit I ate and prepared!!!! These WGPB docs have not updated their research for 30+ years so beware!!!! Scary!!!

Talked to a friend who is rather versed in medicine, biochemistry and diabetes. Carnivore will only work for a few months until it starts showing mineral and vitamin deficiencies he says, based on his own six month attempt at keto. He says meat doesn't contain all we need and that the argument that we have developed over millions of years to eat primarily meat or that some small tribes only eat meat and fat doesn't hold water. He said a lot more but the only thing I agree with is that people have different metabolisms, so what works for some doesn't work for others.

I am not carnivore as im doing really well on keto. Made a few changes and lost the forever 10 lbs by eliminating the little extras that I'd allowed to creep in. No sugar in my coffee, varied intermittent fasting cycle, changed my workouts and limit bread, pasta, rice n beans. I eat more eggs, bacon, avocado, sardines, wild seafood, grass fed beef, butter. Olive oil, coconut and raw nuts. I'm going to turn 64 soon and I so wish I'd done the "oil change" and lowered the carbs sooner.
Just grateful I had it partially right having grown up eating the Mediterranean diet most my life. Would love to lose 5 more but I feel great, have lots of energy and am recovering very quickly from my workouts; no aches or pains. Life is good. Praise God n thanks to all the wonderful doctors speaking truth that sets us free to be healthy n strong regardless of age❤🎉

3 weeks in carnivore and got through the carb withdrawl. I have withdrawn from serious drug and alcohol dependence in the past (5 years clean) and this was worse.
Out the otherside now and feel great. Lost visible belly fat in these 3 weeks.
For those of you struggling to sleep. Gentle exercise after your last meal has settled. Nothing too strenuous, kettlebell swings, push ups, pull ups if you can and a good walk every day.
Sleep like a baby. Walking helps reduce bpdy fat. On Carnivore you can feel it burning up your fat stores.

Dr Berry reminds me of my Doc! She is happy with my improvements but tells me to step it up and get my heart working, lift heavy things, etc. for even more improvements. Had to work through some PTSD/anxiety stuff first but am ready now!

@@ultmiddle4991 She knows I am keto and agrees with it. She knows the benefits of a proper diet and fasting. But, we are in New Hampshire. Dr Berry does have provide a way to find keto/carnivore-friendly doctors in your area. But I forget where to find it. Look in the video descriptions.

THANK YOU Dr. Berry! I want to join the private group!
After watching your interview with Dr. Sean O’Mara, I did my first SPRINT! I have to share that having eaten the “Proper Human Diet” Ketovore/ carnivore elimination diet, I experienced immense improvements in depression and anxiety, chronic headaches, severe chronic fatigue, IBS- SIBO, dry eye, arthritis, frozen shoulder and tendinitis.
    EXPERIMENT -- after hearing Dr.
Omara recommend adding fermented foods to meat, I added one forkful of raw organic sauerkraut to my meals. After 4 meals, I had a SIBO flare, GERD and belching, headache, dry eye, mucous in my throat and fatigue. 😮🤔.

I have been praying for a way to get shed of confusion & frustration r/t how to eat for improved health. I will be 76 in a few days. I have diverticulitis so no fiber. Post gastric bypass (03-03-03) with all the problems that causes. Need to eat keto (you just said "keto cookies, pancakes, is not keto, it's BS"). Amen!! AND they cause cravings for sugar & carbs!! I've got allopecia & psoriasis (on Dupixent). Severe osteoarthritis. Post stroke. Several surgeries on back. Had no hope of quality life before death. The last time I sprinted was freshman in high school. You are an answer to my prayers! (Not sure that I ever will). This is the 1st time I've watched you live. Plan on joining private group!

@Danny I hope you hear from Dr Berry. Keep posting your question since he gets so many!
FYI I’ve been in lots of physical therapy for injuries, but what helped most was getting a rebounder and using it. It’s a small trampoline with a bar to help with balance. On UA-cam look for Cellercise-Dave Hall has exercises to do. I started just light bouncing a few minutes. 6 weeks later I can do 10 minutes of the exercises. It helps me with scar tissue, with straightening a leg I couldn’t straighten, with balance, shoulder neck pain, with numbness and tingling in my feet and legs and other things. And a week ago I started sprinting on it! Look for Jamba run exercise. Best to you in finding what works for you!

I heard Dr. O'Mara talking about sprinting a couple of years ago, and I have been sprinting for a couple of years now, whenever my foot pain is not too bad. I was able to sprint 40 yards in 6.58 seconds...not too bad for a 58 year old...

Trying to better my life for what it can be,especially from what I came from I was a very decorated wrestler from state national and abroad overseas.

Have been carnivore for almost six months and have nothing positive to list. Don't need to lose weight so started it for pain relief. I have RA for about five years now and nothing has changed so far. Vitamin P is getting in short supply and have to admit have cheated a little bit the last few days.

Look at it this way. You are slowing down the momentum of damage caused by a lifetime of eating poisonous food. How can you expect results while consuming (cheating) the food that caused your problems? So, you are not really a carnivore.
