      @@Matthi508 Hey, I was inspired once I saw this video about ya ear ago. It was magnificent, so I wanted also to try filming with lenses. But Life is hard (and busy), and I had to postpone this filming.
      Now, I plan to try something on the New Year holidays. Could you say a few words or share updates related to lenses?
      Usually, I have problems with wide-frame scenes, long-distance zooms out, and subject filming. I hope to add flexibility to these lenses.
      Also, I'm excited to film the night with my iPhone.

Everyone was telling me I HAD to use ProRes but the file sizes simply are so gigantic and I really dont want to carry a ssd with me all the time to spontaniously film some random stuff. Also thanks a lot for the LUTs you provided. I like your stuff and tbh if you would put together a whole pack in the future I'd gladly pay a few bucks for it to support you.

      @@NOlimitsON ofc, I find such videos incredibly interesting, yet I myself really only film basic stuff. So I got one question: what would be your approach to get good results without using gimbals etc? I film 99% on vacation or when a random situation occurs and I usually dont carry gear with me. I thought about just getting a filter, because I have zero experience with extra lenses and if they work with the iphone stabilization...which I really really need for many shots. :D

    Great video and superb cinematography. My interaction with Freewell after purchasing the Sherpa system for my iPhone 15 Pro Max has been quite disgusting. The lenses do not sit securely and wobble. I raised this in the hope it was just the case but after detailed explanations and photo I simply got two line emails not responding to my questions but requesting I do more and more work, like the request to make a video. The emails are designed to waste my time and give up. How are your lenses, do the move easily or wobble?

I don't use them all of the time, but when I do the issues have been pretty much nonexistent. Now if I hit the filter, of course it will pop off, but otherwise, no problems. 4:27

    • @NOlimitsON
      @NOlimitsON  10 місяців тому

      Thanks bro) appreciate it) I can easily cut footage in Apple log with any Sony camera without a snow-mist filter, so I guess you can also mix and match it with Canon R5. As far as shallow depth of field - use 1x camera and get closer to the object - that’s the only way basically

      @@NOlimitsON when i see your video, i get blade runner 2049 vibes but then i also want to see that razor sharp clarity, especially for architecture where it is all about texture and detail.

    seems phone lens is not enough for night video so extra lens needed

      It’s just stylized to anamorphic with this lens, it doesn’t affect the lowlight performance itself. So the 1x lens of the iPhone is more than capable in lowlight

    Bro. You did everything right, just to kill it with ugly YT co.pression😢.I'm sure you didn't exported it in DNXHR.Your filesize shoukd be arou d 40GB.It doesn't look like.In other case there is no point in showing image quality.

      @NOlimitsON  Рік тому

      Of course UA-cam is killing the quality… the file is in ProRes 422 (8gb), but UA-cam makes it like a 100mb 😂

      @@NOlimitsON Ofcore UA-cam adds it it's own compression but gives more bandwith to files with higher resolution..like 5x times more;).Even if you shoot 1080p you should render it at least in 1440p.Check the quality of this video ( compressed mess in the dark areas) and similar videos with higher resolution.Cheers;)

    While I understand that some of the criticism regarding low light photography on a phone might be lacking in comparison to an actual camera, don't forget that the phone is primarily a communication device. You can call someone on your phone with a camera, but you can't call anyone on your camera without a phone. Or something like that. 😊

    Sorry, but that ain't low light these days. Millions of light sources in EVERY PICTURE. It's a night shot, not low light. You are confusing it

      😂😂why you need to film in almost pitch black in a phone? Usable ISO 2000 for a phone is already a crazy good result.

      LOL even a Sony mirrorless needs some type of light . Otherwise you are filming a black scene ...Looks great . Remember its a phone

      After this comment my balls dropped down the road! Do you want night goggles and film with those? Do you need to be pitch dark then you can film inside your brain? It s ambient lights at NIGHT!!!! So yeahhhh it s fkn low light situation

    Looks ok but still like a phone imo whereas footage in good light is getting closer to cameras. The lack of detail is pretty tough to disguise
