Amazing , I saw another demonstration from Ann Readon , "How to Cook That ", she made the heart as 3D like the shape of an apple ; therefore wherever you cut it will always appear as heart.
Everytime I see someone break eggs directly into batter, I remember the time my then-husband was making a triple batch of his amazing brownie recipe. He was happily breaking the eggs on the side of the bowl adding the eggs directly to the churning mix. All of a sudden, he was retching and running to the balcony. I went to toward the kitchen to see what was up and then joined him gagging at the rail. One of the eggs was rotten and green and black and the whole house smelled like hell afire. Took a huge effort to clean up and it was almost a year before either of us could even look at brownies again 😂😂😂

I've cracked an egg with a mostly-formed baby chicken inside. I was about ten and it definitely made a distinct memory. ALWAYS check your eggs. They'll float in water if they're bad, and you should always check them like this if you've had them a while. Not only that, but cracking them into a separate bowl before adding them to batter is well worth the extra step.

I liked more Ann Reardon 3D heart inside the cupcake (video which was made exactly 1 year before this one, btw) because you can cut the cupcake through the middle from any direction and it works; a bit silly to have to show your friends how to hold it and where exactly to cut it to get the right effect.

How could microwaves possibly cook from the inside out? Please, apply some logic here. The waves would hit the outside of the food before the inside. Yes, the middle DOES seem hotter, but that's because there's more heat around it to insulate it. Unless there's a higher concentration of water in the middle of the food, the microwaves will definitely heat the outside first. You don't take things out of the microwave that are burnt and see that the inside is burnt but the outside isn't.
ChoccyMonster16 when I say microwave ovens cook food from the "inside out," what I actually mean is that microwaves excite the liquids more strongly and will indeed cook from the inside out.

I know castor sugar is finer than regular granulated sugar, but can granulated sugar be used instead? I don't think we have castor sugar in the US.

Caster sugar is a bit finer than normal sugar but that's about it. It doesn't change the taste though so it's fine if you use normal sugar instead.
yes caster sugar is finer so it melts easier so you won't feel the sugar granules in your food as i do sometimes :D
