3 desserts in one cupcake?! Jemma, you are a genius! So glad I decided to tune in every week for my sweet tooth to go insane! Also, food coma? More like sugar coma! Amazing! Keep up the amazing work on the channel as well as the dessert shop. Love you to no end because watching your videos inspires me!
Gema, Thank you for doing this! I made this with chocolate Graham on the bottom, plain sponge with a chocolate chip and strawberry goo, stuffed with a whole strawberry preserve and topped with a chocolate whipped cream. Turned out absolutely divine! Thank you for the idea!
making an adapted version of these for my friend's birthday today! I'm going to make them s'mores by using graham crackers for the base instead of digestive biscuits, filling them with chocolate ganache instead of the jam, and torching the frosting instead of dipping it. can't wait!
Hi jemma ive made these cupcakes for my friends little girls birthday party and they turned out amazing i followed your recipe and they were amazing thankyou so much xx
Brilliant recipe. I've used your chocolate cup cake recipe (yesterday actually) and it went down a storm. They have a thing here in Denmark called Flødeboller which is marshmallow covered in chocolate. I think these will go down really well among the local natives here. Looking forward to trying this out 😋
I just tried doing the meringue with honey (as I had neither syrup nor liquid glucose at hand). It turned out great! Of course, you can taste the honey, but it isn't too overpowering in my opinion :)
I think this will be a great treat for myself after a 50-hour night work. Those cakes looks heavenly and I bet the taste to! Awesome! I will be making this in the morrow. Thanks Jemm for sharing this recipe. =*new subscriber here*=
I'm thinking of turning these into ghost cupcakes for Halloween and was wondering the best way of producing smooth sides. Use a larger nozzle and do a big blob? Flatten out sides with a damp spatula? Also how would you adapt the chocolate coating if using white chocolate?
Fantastic recipe Jemma! I made the cupcakes and they were delicious, but I would say that 100ml of golden syrup for the meringue icing was way too much, it still tasted fine, but I would have preferred it to be maybe even half that amount. No worries though because I'll make them again :D
Oh my goodness that looks amazing! The chocolate at the end looks scrumptious! Perhaps I'll whip up a batch myself once I find the time and patience to do so. Thanks for sharing hun! :)
Hi ! I would be very grateful if you could tell me if cream of tartar may be replaced by something else? I'm not from England and I can't find it anywhere in my country. I really love your recipes :) You are very funny and talented!
Made the high hat cupcakes today and they were awesomeeeeeeee n a big hit with kids. Thank u sooooo much for this lovely recipe. Unfortunately dnt know how to post a photo here. A v merry Christmas to u.
Oh my GOD your recipes are AMAZING I am seriously considering moving to London just to be able to have your cakes 🙏 you have such good tips that are a big help to prizes in competitions which you should claim full credit for :)))))
Does the marshmallowy meringue droop after 10 minutes or so? I noticed after you put them on the cupcakes, you put them in the fridge for 15-20 minutes
Hi Jemma! I love your channel!!! I have a question ... ok two! What is the Golden syrup for? (just to give flavor, consistency, or what?) and why I can replace it... Beacuse i from Perú and I can not find that ingredient! Thank u!!!
Hey Jemma!! I just took a crack at these...they taste amazing - so no issue there!! But...I couldn’t get my icing stiff enough, it collapsed when I piped it on. I’m not sure if it was stiff enough, if in doubt can I beat it longer to stiffen it up? Can’t wait to bake my through all your cupcakes!!
Hi Jemma! I'm from Brazil and I don't know where to find the cream of tartar, can I replace it for something else? Sorry for spelling errors :s ...thank you!!
Help!!! Will the chocolate coating melt if I leave them overnight in room temperature? From what I understand, Jemma usually recommend us to keep our cupcakes in room temperature since no one enjoys hard cakes...
Hi Jemma, I'm wondering if I can skip the coffee or substitute it with something else? I'm baking this for my little niece and nephew. Thanks a lot! Really love your videos~

Can I substitute veg oil with melted butter/margarine?
If it's not, why/what would happen?
I mean, butter will be tastier, right?

The comments have made me hopeful that I can make this
OMG. THIS LOOKS AMAZINGG!
Whenever you use cocoa, it isn't specified whether it's natural or dutch-processed. Does that mean it doesn't matter which one we use?
Hi ! I would be very grateful if you could tell me if cream of tartar may be replaced by something else? I'm not from England and I can't find it anywhere in my country. I really love your recipes :) You are very funny and talented!

Anyone know how long the marshmallow frosting will keep in the fridge for? I have leftovers and don't know if I can eat it
Is the cream of tartar necessary? Or is there any substitute for that?
This has probably been asked already. How does caster sugar convert to plain granulated sugar in volume or weight?
