Speed Queen A36 Final Spin

When I replaced the pump, I replaced it with the old-style pump that is larger and has a multi-vane impeller. The result was much more cavitation noise on spin, similar to the old 2-solenoid machines. This particular machine is the later reversing-motor style which has been said to be less reliable, how it's managed to survive nearly 40 years and tens of thousands of washloads is a mystery to me too! I'm not sure of the spin speed but I think it's 710 RPM, I'll have to look in the service manual which is in a box at the moment.
