Great video Rose, i really like the books you recommended but i belive that the book Mystic Money Mastery should not be overlooked. The book contains unfair advantages compared to others
I went to the library today and picked up a couple books on your list I also have two on order when they are available. A frugal person never pays for something they can get for free, more money to invest with. : -)
I learned a lot from younger people's channels this month. Although I'm not 40 yet now I see my books are rusty and moldy comparing to new books with fresh perspective. Thank you, Rose.
I definately like "Invested" but I also like Phil Town's other two books "Rule #1" and "Payback Time". "Rule #1" really walks you through step by step how to calculate the numbers and also gives advice on the type of accounts to use.
Awesome video. You stepped outside the box and went with books that helped you personally. Most investment UA-cam channels always go with the same circle of investor books, the Intelligent Investor, Rich Dad Poor Dad etc etc. It’s nice to see you share what helped your individual journey rather than play it safe with their recommendations.
As an inspiring/novice investor, I think I will start off by reading Tony Robbins' book first so that I can get a strong foundation of knowledge about investing. Then, I plan to read "The Little Book That Still Beats The Market." Thanks so much, Rose!

I have watched your posts. I'm 65 and am most grateful for having the veil of mystery lifted off a subject I've had little knowledge of; And though it is too late for me, the Knowledge gained and the book list you suggested will be passed on to guide my one and only child. I read 'The Little Book that still Beats the Market' because of Rose's video on the magic formula. I am new to this stuff, and I really enjoyed the book. I will try the magic formula soon. Cheers.
I am totally with you on Tony Robbins and Jack Bogle's books. The rest, meh. I am surprised J. L. Collins' Simple Path to Wealth didn't make your list. Between Bogle and Collins, no one does it better on explaining the benefits to long term, passive Investing on building wealth. Collins' also focuses a bit on FIRE, Financial Independence Retire Early. He calls his strategy as having F U Money. He tells a story about how his life is positively impacted by having F U Money.

Thank you so much! I just finished the Jack Bogle book (excellent), and will look into the other books you recommend! Your educational videos have really helped me overcome my fear of investing-I started investing in indexing stocks about two months ago. Thank you!
Great Video Rose. I liked your thoughts. I did read both books by Tony. Unshakable was good, money master the game was a Lonnnggggggg read. 600 pages I think. It was good but most people do not have the time. Thanks for the insights on the others I will look at them. Keep it up. Hugs from Canada..
I'm all for the set it and forget it approach and I want to invest in individual stocks. I'll be reading Unshakeable, The Little Book of Common Sense Investing and finishing it off with Invested. Great video!
Individual stock investing...be careful. Traditional and digital casinos have the odds in their favor. With individual stocks investing (I say this word loosely), the market is the casino, the odds are in its favor. When you do read Jack Bogle's book covered in this video, you will see what I mean. He covers investing (mutual funds) vs. speculating (solo stocks).
Just found your channel and you got a new subscriber Rose! I have Unshakeable and read from cover to cover... honestly i hadn't decided to pull the trigger on investing outside of my 401k but nows the time....thank you! Investing using the strategies in those books will demand a lot of effort from you. Passive Index investing requires very little effort. When a book has a beat the market in it's title, proceed with caution.

Question: Do you recommend that we should use audible or are their pictures in the books that are necessary to also own, whether it’s kindle or physical? Thanks again.

Definitely will be looking for the books mentioned to read further and im probably gonna started with "invested". Thanks again and i finally subscribed to your channel as well. :)
I like how you give details about the books because most videos I watch for top ten books of anything don't give enough information for me to want to buy them.
Yep she sure did... Her brief synopsis of each book is so practical with just enough information, for the common man like me, to spike my interest in the books. Also, I know for sure she was talking directly to me and me only....because she seemed to be speaking my very own language, understandingly sensitive toward my level of comprehension, and she's not even Samoan. My assumption is that she's an immigrant from Asiatic landmass... But every word she uttered was clearly understood on my part. I've only stumbled upon her videos like 2 days ago and let me say, like the many teens nowadays would say..."Yo, this chic is dope, bro!" Or "dude, she was S-I-C-K!!... Lol. 😂.. Hi Rose, I'm new to your channel. I just downloaded the audio version of Invested and I don't think it applies to me. Granted I'm only on chapter 2. Danielle had $40,000 to start investing. I have $40. Also she doesn't really define stock terms like "shares", "dividends" and "compounding" as clearly as a beginner like me requires. And I'm so confused as to how to calculate my number from the section on "know your number". Luckily the book is free. Anyway I like the way you share tips in your videos so that anyone can understand.
Hello, I am reading "Invested". it is wow, thank you for sharing. I have two questions: 1. I am working on the 4 big numbers, and I have realized that the net income of companies like Tesla and Amazon over the years is negative. Is it manipulated just to avoid paying tax? 2. You are so knowledgeable in the field, why do you prefer to invest in Index instead of doing your own research?
@George Barry Speaking on what the wealthy do to amass great fortune e can you risk sacrificing 20%-30% of your investment if it doesn't go in your in favor? Can you bear that risk?
Elon musk recently acquired Bitcoin amounting to billion in dollars. Today, with its current rise and notoriety, you can only imagine that the profits accursed in the short span have great generated way more than he would dream of if he was only manufacturing Telsa cars over the next 4-5 years. Can you imagine that?
Thanks for the information books to read on investment. But I was confused about one book-The little Book of Common Sense. Is it Jack Bogle or John Bogle? You mention Jack Bogle and his website, and also information about Jack Bogle book. Are their two different books or two authors. Thanks for keeping us informed on beginners investors. Keep up the great videos.
I don't know why people hype investing so much I believe trading is way better. All big companies make money by buying and selling (trading) not investing. Anyway much love Rose
I can’t thank ROSE and Andre “Jeik” enough. Once corona hit, I got hit with tons of self defeating emotions. All the stimulus check “know it alls” flooded my feed. Eventually leading me to “how to invest your stimulus”-ROSE..... Andre killed me with his jokes and simplistic way of teaching. Rose is down my alley with her ability to present info in a great way. Again!!! Thank you. I’ll never forget you two. Granted life turns for the best. I’ll definitely pay it forward to you both.
Listen to Rose and not to Andre. He is good with jokes, but not with investing. He tells you about his rising dividends but doesnt tells you, that 99% of those gains come from the cashflow created by UA-cam and NOT from the dividends (which in big parts got cut and really(!) don't matter). Since i have a background in investment banking myself, i can tell you, that she is really an ok source on investing. And Andre isnt.

nice! hope you like my list :)
How is common stocks uncommon profit book?
Really love your videos: well structured, clear, concise and you avoid the opening (and often lenghty) waffle that is so common
Thank you, Rose!
Finish the 1st 4 books already.
I don't know why people hype investing so much I believe trading is way better. All big companies make money by buying and selling (trading) not investing. Anyway much love Rose
Another great video Rose! You should look into upping your microphone game!
Düsseldorfつくば thanks for the insight. I’m always interested in learning and appreciate the stepping stones along the way. If you have any recommendations on channels to watch I’m all ears. Cheers
@@MonteyCarlo92081 Generally I would say that, if you haven't already done that, you should watch interviews with Warren Buffet as a base to start with. He ist Just 89 years of pure knowledge and experience.
As a channel I can recommend "Ben Felix" to you. Maybe not as entertaining as Rose and Andrei, but high quality information.
