1:50 fun fact: most of the trailing missions in this game can be walked OR ran. If you walk, the npc will walk. If you run, the npc will run to match your pace. I quite like this detail.
Yeah this is such a small but at the same time huge quality of life improvement. :D I hate trailing missions as much as the next guy but in this game I not once thought "fuuuu another goddamn trailing mission". It also helps that these missions are usually pretty short and are not the focus of the quest and instead just a way how to go from one quest location to the next one.

9:17 This is not a bug btw. The reason why you can't see the enemy is because you're suppose to go through the archways in the room so that they become visible.
Also, not sure if you figured it out or not, since it's not shown here you used it, but the flying mechanics has a Speed Boost that you can use.

The fact that other characters "text" you unsolicited is the most farfetched, magical, utopian and immersion shattering element of this game. Imagine actually getting a text from somebody who just likes you.

I love how the unforgivable curses are pretty tame for the most part viewing wise and then boom - a normal spell of you thrashing around someone like a rag doll till they die. 😂

Using leviosa to rip spiders in half or ice spells to shatter people seems pretty brutal for a game that condemns an instant kill spell

I wish I did that too, instead of wasting time paying attention to it, nothing special about it. GTA 5 had a not-masterpiece story, but the constant character interactions and funny shit that happens made me love it. They shouldn't have given us freedom for our character, they are soulless. I would rather have an actual character, not some self insert character. The Npcs are so lifeless too, no immersion in this game, and it took them 11 years to create that boring af open world and game.

I think they should of used the Rival System from Shadow of Mordor to give you rival students to try and outshine in other houses. Who remember you and try to humiliate or out perform you in sports and activities. I think it would add more to the school environment having academic friends and rivals.

The biggest advice I can give anyone starting this game.. is to just do the main quests/classroom quests until they start to feel too hard, or until you've unlocked the broom at least. Don't explore too much early on, because so many mechanics are hidden behind main quests. You don't get the broom for awhile, and then exploring outside the castle/hogsmeade becomes SO much better. There's also tons of locked doors, puzzles that require certain spells, etc.. that you'll just have to backtrack for later anyway.

@@ajay4841 having started a 2nd playthrough yesterday, i will say the exception to this is picking up field guide pages in hogsmeade and hogswart.. but just cast revelio every so often as you go between quests and you'll be tripping over tons of them at first. Each 'location' building has at least 1, and sometimes 2-3 in hogsmeade. Easy to get some early levels.
However, if you hear a ding, but after a minute looking you haven't found it and there's a locked door nearby, or something outlined in blue that you don't understand yet, it's probably one of those and just ignore it for now.

Just letting you know, you can make the outfit items look like any other item you've picked up, or invisible. I really enjoyed that because it allowed me to go in depth with my characters look. Just thought you'd want to know because it didn't seem like you did

How do I do that? I want to immerse myself with my classmates and see my character at times but I look so out of place with my goofy ass look lol, I don’t mind looking crazy when I’m fighting but at times it looks a bit excessive, how do I make the items invisible and switch it on and off?

I'm not a big Harry Potter/Fantastic Beast fan unlike my older sisters and cousins but dang, I'm so amazed by how well they recreated the world of Hogwarts.
When my brother-in-law bought a PS5, my sister asked me which game I want to play and chose this (I wanted God of War but they only had enough budget for 2 games, my B-I-L chose a racing game and my sister was asking me to choose for her. It wasn't my PlayStation so I chose something my sister can enjoy and she's a huge HP fan). Literally had no idea or expectations about this game just that it is set in the world of HP/FBWFT.
I instantly fell in love with the juggling combat and exploring the world in a flying broom which is incredibly fun and exhilarating.
I have a very little sense of humor yet every time i watch one of your videos you somehow keep making me laugh :)
The best part of the side quests has been being able to keep the item you retrieve for the npc. Goblin dudes pet went missing. Went and got it for him. Then told him it would be safer with me and left. He was crushed, it was great.
