Having to play the first 2 hours of the game 4 times was a ballache
You are so right! But after doing the grind for getting 5 kameo to max level after the patch in mortal kombat 1. 2 hours is nothing when one kameo take at least 8 hours each...

As someone is a fan of the book, I'd say it's more or less for casual fans. I think hardcore fans would hate the story of the game for its inclusion of ancient magic and the mc cause, despite their influence and importance, there's literally nothing about them and is only for the games. Though, I do think they will still enjoy exploring the world, particularly Hogwarts and the inclusion of recognizable face like Nigellius Black and the Weasley's ancestors.

With me the only thing keeping me from this game is that the collectibles can glitch and I have hear from trophy groups that some people have experienced it still
Happened to me right at the end of the grind. I was so pissed and am NOT replying the whole game
I can confirm the collectible glitch is definitely a thing. I have 74/75 trait and it’s no where in game.

The only trophies stopping me are the side quest trophy and breeding trophy. I literally fly all over the place and no more side quest pop up; I’m at like 87% and nothing more shows. For the breeding, I keep capturing males and I need females for the giant beast and one other creature smh
As someone who never watched any of the HP movies, I loved getting this platinum!
Edit: This game did make me watch the movies. I’m glad I did, it was a fun series of movies to experience over a few days. I would have never watched them if not for this game.

This game is fun but i made the mistake of playing it around launch where the collection trophy was bugged and didn't pop, had to wait around 3 months for a patch to platinum it, moral of the story is never play games on launch, always wait for a sale and for it to be patched up.

I put my hat in the Ring for Midnight Suns. It's a smidgen longer to plat than thia (like 70), it's a strategy RPG title so it's different than what you normally do in terms of Genre, you have the overwhelming majority of Modern Marvel games Platted and I just think it's a really fun, underrated game
I HATED this platinum
The collectables killed it for me, made me hate the game more. Now its the one for using ancient magic on everyone. I really do hate this game!
And yes I used to be a HP fangirl back in the day going for Slytherin house, only to find I'm a proud Ravenclaw. Plus I love the old HP games more.

the same thing happened to me with the collections, I got the trophy but I didn't have them all. However i do know when the game first came out a lot of ppl experienced glitches with the collectables so maybe the requirements to get the trophy you don't need to have them all to complete it
This was a slog to platinum for me. Took me 95 hours total. Some of that was probably extra time added just idleing, can’t remember now. Good game but I’m wouldn’t plat it again
I really hope it’s not true if the sequel is going to be live service. I hope they come to their senses and scrap that idea because that’s a hard pass for me if it is

the plague tale series is not hard man it’s a hell of a ride
I feel kind of sad for you, because you rushed to finish the main quest, and then you had to do all the side quests… when it’s actually way more enjoyable when you do all the side quests before to do the main quests, it provides different experience, pacing the game between side quest, main quest, side quest, main quest… by doing so, it even feels less “narrative driven” (to follow the main quests). It feels more like you play “randomly” quests, talk to NPC, do some side quests and at some point you continue with some of the main quests, already forgetting the whole main narrative… it feels more natural (IMHO).
I enjoyed how I played it. as I paid for the game, I can play it how I want

while lore breaking, this game is incredibly fun. and the curses actually feel REALLY strong. like, dear god. cruxio (torture curse, stuns and DoT's an enemy) and avada (insta murder) have an insane synergy where you cast cruxio on one enemy, hit them with your basic attack spell multiple times that spreads cruxio to nearby enemies, then hit any cruxio'd enemy with avada and the death laser bounces between ALL cruxio'd enemies in a fantastical lightshow of death that just clears out encounters no problem.
weird thing though, NO ONE comments on your use of curses except in the questline of which you learn them. like, you could spam cruxio/avada combo constantly while multiple teachers are around in the final fight, and they dont say a damn thing. like... "hey super good guy wizards with a hard on for the rules, i am using the forbidden unforgivable curses like they're stupify, any comments?" "you really are a great student"
though.... to be fair.... with ancient magic you literally explode people (somewhat slowly, like it seems like they feel their body about to pop) or repeatedly slam them into the ground so hard you dent stone with their skull. maybe insta murder with avada is a mercy....

tbh I think I even mention in the video, that I didnt get it because I didn't side with Sebastian.. I know why I didnt, I looked into it after I finished it

You should platinum Tales of Kenzera next. It is new and included on ps plus. 10-15 hour platinum with fast paced and fun gameplay 🏆

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. I read the books and really enjoyed the movies. This game was really fun. I got the Plat for it too. I went with Gryffindor for my House.
4:53, in the event you play this again, say do a full run, you can actually skip the cutscenes by pressing and holding triangle (or the top button on the right-side face buttons!) 👀
I agree with the whole life service thing, but if they do it like they're doing it with helldivers 2, then I wouldn't have a problem with it. The way they're handling the live service aspect for helldivers 2 is really the best way of doing it for a live service, in my opinion.
Those 600 collectibles that don’t show up on the map 😂😂😂😂 got the platinum had to use revelio a million times never have to play this again 😅

I watched first harry potter when i was 6 years old then i rewatched them many times now ive read the books and listened the books many times never getting bored of it i have played this game through also rly good
The hours and difficulty is a lie I hate it when ps profiles says the game is that difficulty when it's much harder
I thought it was really easy, unless you put it on hardest diff then yeah its hard, but as a platinum its quite easy
I gave up on hogwarts coz no matter what I did the collectibles wouldn’t show up

The thing I like about legacy is that you can skip the dialogue so if you are replaying it you arent stuck being bored

Just keep playing, nothing is too challenging.. once you've done the story, just slowly work through the collectibles
This one took me 76 hours for the plat and man when it was done I was done loved it but over 1k collectibles is insane

20:38 I think the all collection trophy is glitched because I had 4 revelio pages left and trophy popped and 1 of the 4 is also missing 🤷🏾♂️
You don’t need all revelio pages for the trophy if you look in collection you will see how many you needed but it’s good you got the trophy. I am missing one trait and it’s no where in the game to be found and yes I have completed all bandit camps and opened all collection chest. I was only missing the collectors edition trophy for the platinum
