Isn't it crazy how time flies...? I recall when they released their breakthrough debut album 'Mental Jewelry' in 1991, and it wasn't a bad album at all, but their second album (under the name 'LIVE') was truly a masterpiece. 'Throwing Copper' was played almost everywhere on the radio constantly in 1994, and why not? It had 5 - YES 5 - GREAT SINGLES. The band had indeed arrived. Throughout the 90's they continued to release solid Rock albums, and deserve the respect they earned. I have to say though that out of all their great songs, that this one is my most favorite. Simply beautiful.
Timeless…in the fact I happened across this song today 3/22/23 and had never heard it before in my life that I remember. But I sure the hell have lived it. Today, I have little fear and lots of love…thanks to the drama!
Absolutely.im not an overly emotional person, but something about their delivery, the lyrics and the authentic of this band amazes me.evn after all these years.such a talented group.i never tire of their music
Still listening in 2019 Like tons of other fans, I listened to this song over and over. I indeed was as the lyrics say. However, today I *refuse* to be a victim of psych mind killers, of whom *won't ever* blame the person who hurt the victim.🙅😠 Do I cry? Yes, only when my memory allows my past to open up. 26 years of talking to "therapists" whom want their own agenda for me. When I hear this song, it's my own internal power I feel. 💪 Thank you *so* much for posting. Love from Michigan USA 💜 Peace ✌
Só me resta saudade e bagagem musical
Thank you for the great music. During this pandemic , it’s important to list to great music soothes the soul. I’m a hospice nurse and asked families what their loved ones music was and I told them to play it for them as the hearing is the last sense to go. Thank you for the great music.
My intro to Live was on 93.7 KSPI Stillwater, OK. First song I heard from them was Pain Lies on the Riverside. This was their second. I still own every album they ever produced and even Ed's solo trip. Lightning Crashes was the song I played when I proposed to my wife. We went to one of their shows when she was 7 months pregnant with our first child. We have forever memories of going to their shows and my absolute favorite was at Red Rocks in Denver. Second favorite was seeing Ed solo in Jackpot, Nevada a few years back.
I was 16 when this came out and EVERYONE loved this album, such amazing memories, it became a soundtrack to my Yr 11/12 years. And we all loved and grew up with Metallica, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam etc and this was right up there with the best. Legends 👍🏼🙏😀
The 90's should be remembered as the greatest century of rock music, and I'm pretty much aware of the 60's or 70's. All the Grunge greats, Tool, catchy punk rock and even quality contemporary rock just beat it for me, and I really love The Beatles.
Guys... 90s is a decade... Century is 100 years, decade is 10 years. 1900s is a century. 1990s is a decade, the last decade of the 1900 aka 20th century 🤦🏻♀️
I always liked Live but it wasn't until this past year that I really got INTO Live. Lyrics have been hitting me deeper than ever and the music echos life to a "t".

First concert I ever went to. The Spectrum in Philly 15yrs old with my big sister. Live was the soundtrack to my high school years love these guys
Timeless…in the fact I happened across this song today 3/22/23 and had never heard it before in my life that I remember. But I sure the hell have lived it. Today, I have little fear and lots of love…thanks to the drama!
What a song! Overwhelming, I rediscover the sensation of my early twinties when I heard it for the first time, blown away...
Throwing Copper is a Masterpiece!!🎶
I spinned the hell out of this cd...had to buy it again. 90s 😎...great decade in music.
Love Live. Pure 90's bliss!❤😊
Absolutely.im not an overly emotional person, but something about their delivery, the lyrics and the authentic of this band amazes me.evn after all these years.such a talented group.i never tire of their music
E olha eu aqui a reencontrando
Missing so much the alternative and grunge era
1994 ❤️ nostalgia
This band ages like fine wine
Actually like fine wine and cheese
Love this song so much!
Still listening in 2019
Like tons of other fans, I listened to this song over and over.
I indeed was as the lyrics say.
However, today I *refuse* to be a victim of psych mind killers, of whom *won't ever* blame the person who hurt the victim.🙅😠
Do I cry? Yes, only when my memory allows my past to open up.
26 years of talking to "therapists" whom want their own agenda for me.
When I hear this song, it's my own internal power I feel. 💪
Thank you *so* much for posting.
Love from Michigan USA 💜
Peace ✌
@Um_Vs_YouTune you're very welcome.
"Live" long and prosper, friend in New Zealand.
Peace ✌
Nossa que saudade dessa época! Life, Nirvana, Pearl jam,Alice chains, Soundgarden e tantas outras banda marcaram minha adolescência.
This was filmed at rocky ridge park.
Só me resta saudade e bagagem musical
I reallly love this song
Love this band!
Top demais essa canção...
Viagem no tempo
Altas minas
One of my all time favorite alternative rock band❤
Grande banda com pouca mídia do grunge 90's
I was 16 when this came out and EVERYONE loved this album, such amazing memories, it became a soundtrack to my Yr 11/12 years. And we all loved and grew up with Metallica, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam etc and this was right up there with the best. Legends 👍🏼🙏😀
This song smells and tastes like the 90s. Great piece
The 90's should be remembered as the greatest century of rock music, and I'm pretty much aware of the 60's or 70's. All the Grunge greats, Tool, catchy punk rock and even quality contemporary rock just beat it for me, and I really love The Beatles.
Any Rebel
Nooo, I’m pretty sure the 90s was a decade.
I was a teenager in the 90s and it was only ten years.
>the 90s
>the greatest century
read back what u just said
The 90s lasted for several thousand years, I know, I was there...
Guys... 90s is a decade... Century is 100 years, decade is 10 years. 1900s is a century. 1990s is a decade, the last decade of the 1900 aka 20th century 🤦🏻♀️
Pretty sure this is a most underrated band of 90's..who is with me tonight for listening to song A LIVE..burn💥💥
I always liked Live but it wasn't until this past year that I really got INTO Live. Lyrics have been hitting me deeper than ever and the music echos life to a "t".
Love this❤ from my high school life 90’s
