In my school, I was only Muslim in my classroom and I never felt discriminated. My majorities friends were Hindus from school and college. We often shared our lunchs. My some friends are pure vegetarian so I didn't bring any non-veg in school because I didn't want to hurt their beliefs but I told them that I eat non veg in my home and they were ok with it. I still contact to my school friends through social media.
This is same like my story 😅❗ I also had only one Muslim in my entire class & he was & is my friend, he's also non vegetarian but haven't brought non veg lunch in school campus, even no egg !!! We never talked or have discussions over religions & if we had then it was only positive ones ‼️

I am a Christian in India. We make upto 2-3% of the population. Always lived my life among other religions. I celebrate Diwali and holi with my besties and they celebrate Christmas with me. Never in my life I ever felt DISCRIMINATED or got any kind of hate. I am a Muslim from Mumbai I never felt discrimination ,I am always loved my hindu people Since childhood I was called on 9th day of navratri when they praise girls as devi even though I was a Muslim, they used to call our family in every puja and we used to go,we played garba and Dandiya,we went for Ganpati sthapna and visarjan,we also brought firecrackers during Diwali make rangoli, light the Dias etc. But we were not only one who use to do this many Muslims in our society used do this and even hindus used to celebrate Eid ,and bakra Eid with us they also used to make shirkhurmas And now we are shifted to another society and here also every thing is same for us and ous old neighbor's still call us for events in that society And since birth my parents always thoughts We are Indian and our religion is Indian and we have to stand up for our country without differentiating any religions 🇮🇳 हम भारतीय हैं और हमारा धर्म भारतीय है और हमें किसी भी धर्म में भेदभाव किए बिना अपने देश के लिए खड़ा होना है.🇮🇳i🇮🇳🇮🇳 Jai hind🇮🇳

I served in air force, 99 percentage of my officers and colleagues were Hindus that too from North India. They were all awesome people. I am a Muslim girl from a small village in northeast..from kid i have only hindu friends till now..we have grown up together..we celebrate every festival together..we respect each other religion..i never felt discrimination with my friends even once..sometime i felt discrimination from 'some' of elders but my friends always would stand up for me ..even if it is there family..so my thoughts..atleast in my place...older generation(80%of them) people are the problem who tried to add some garbage in the new generation...but atleast the new gen know..what is right and wrong..and the next gen..i would love to teach them to live together peacefully instead of this stupid fights..

So there was this (muslim) girl called nahid afreen (from assam state) who won a reality singing contest on tv. It's a thing to celebrate right? Umm no, not for the maulanas of that town who issued a fatwa against this 15 or 16 yr old (at that time) citing singing to be unislamic despite her father's support for her. Things got so heated up that the state government had to allot her a police guard for her and her family. Now lady in hisab, let's talk of oppression.

If certain people don’t get that; educate them, rather than stereotyping or generalising. Women generally are oppressed everywhere. I don't think Muslims in India are oppressed even though being a Minority. The Muslim population in India has increased from 9% in 1951 to about 15% in 2011. Meanwhile, In Pakistan where a majority of people practice the "most peaceful" religion the Hindu population decreased from 23% to 6% in the same timeframe.
Am not sure about your EXACT numbers but yes the percentage of Muslims keep on raising in India and the percentage of Hindus keeps on falling in Pakistan by various statistics i've seen for the last 30 years but you should note that they are also influenced by the economic situation of both countries. Pakistani Hindus traveled all around the globe to become economically more stable. Indian muslims also travel but since there are more opportunities in India itself, the migrating number is low.
I do have to add that thinking is different then it being actually the truth. If someone from Pakistan came and he said no I don't think Hindus are being oppressed in Pakistan. I wouldn't believe him either. An opinion isn't a fact. Muslims are oppressed in India and Hindus are oppressed in Pakistan. That is mainly with every minority in a country

No, one if my friends was shocked that her father didn't restrict her from being friends with me(a Muslim), one of my friends used to tell me that her parents told her not to be friends with Muslims but she is my friend because I am not like "other Muslims". My relatives are Hindus in Bangladesh and they don't face such issues which are often faced by Pakistani Hindus. Actually I am a Tamil married to a Bangladeshi, she is also a Hindu and I've visited Bangladesh once..

I'm a hindu. I have spent my childhood in a small town. We had temple right next to mosque. Every morning me and my friend Azmat used to fly kites and it was really fun because roofs of our homes were attached. His ammi used to make mango shahi tukda for us in the summers and he loved ladoos my mother made. They used to give us sweets and gifts on diwali and Azmat loved crackers. My family is a pure vegetarian and Azmat's family knew it and never ever did anything that would hurt our feelings. And the best thing is that his dad was in army so I respect Shahid uncle alot. Azmat and I are best friends till now and we're both trying for NDA exam because as kids we were fascinated to hear stories of bravery from Shahid uncle. Jai hind. 🇮🇳❤

In my school, I was only Muslim in my classroom and I never felt discriminated. My majorities friends were Hindus from school and college. We often shared our lunchs. My some friends are pure vegetarian so I didn't bring any non-veg in school because I didn't want to hurt their beliefs but I told them that I eat non veg in my home and they were ok with it. I still contact to my school friends through social media.
Most of the north indian hindus are Vegeterian... Here in odisha 99% eat non-veg

I am a Christian in India. We make upto 2-3% of the population. Always lived my life among other religions. I celebrate Diwali and holi with my besties and they celebrate Christmas with me. Since childhood I was called on 9th day of navratri when they praise girls as devi even though I was a Muslim, they used to call our family in every puja and we used to go,we played garba and Dandiya,we went for Ganpati sthapna and visarjan,we also brought firecrackers during Diwali make rangoli, light the Dias etc.
But we were not only one who use to do this many Muslims in our society used do this and even hindus used to celebrate Eid ,and bakra Eid with us they also used to make shirkhurmas
And now we are shifted to another society and here also every thing is same for us and ous old neighbor's still call us for events in that society
And since birth my parents always thoughts

I am a Muslim girl from a small village in northeast..from kid i have only hindu friends till now..we have grown up together..we celebrate every festival together..we respect each other religion..i never felt discrimination with my friends even once..sometime i felt discrimination from 'some' of elders but my friends always would stand up for me ..even if it is there family..so my thoughts..atleast in my place...older generation(80%of them) people are the problem who tried to add some garbage in the new generation...but atleast the new gen know..what is right and wrong..and the next gen..i would love to teach them to live together peacefully instead of this stupid fights..

Am not sure about your EXACT numbers but yes the percentage of Muslims keep on raising in India and the percentage of Hindus keeps on falling in Pakistan by various statistics i've seen for the last 30 years but you should note that they are also influenced by the economic situation of both countries. Pakistani Hindus traveled all around the globe to become economically more stable. Indian muslims also travel but since there are more opportunities in India itself, the migrating number is low.
I do have to add that thinking is different then it being actually the truth. If someone from Pakistan came and he said no I don't think Hindus are being oppressed in Pakistan. I'm a hindu. I have spent my childhood in a small town. We had temple right next to mosque. Every morning me and my friend Azmat used to fly kites and it was really fun because roofs of our homes were attached. His ammi used to make mango shahi tukda for us in the summers and he loved ladoos my mother made. They used to give us sweets and gifts on diwali and Azmat loved crackers.
My family is a pure vegetarian and Azmat's family knew it and never ever did anything that would hurt our feelings.
And the best thing is that his dad was in army so I respect Shahid uncle alot. Azmat and I are best friends till now and we're both trying for NDA exam because as kids we were fascinated to hear stories of bravery from Shahid uncle. Jai hind. 🇮🇳❤

Agree with you. Rather than them being made fun of for their accents it's better that they themselves choose to speak in hindi. I'm Indian but I still had a hard time figuring out what they were telling, but thankfully it had eng subs. They did try but they looked pretty awkward, atleast to me. Everyone has accent, but they should talk in a language they are comfortable. Trying to speak a language just for the sake of speaking may sound good, but it deforms the meaning/ idea behind.

Ummmm.....she's not trying to spread hate towards hindus, she's just trying to inform people about the discrimination some muslims have experienced. The discrimination is real on both sides, but the hindus have the upper hand because they are the majority. Overall, I feel that India needs to unite these groups together because ever since partition, they have only grown further apart.
