The fact that you can easily say 'abe yeh hindu logo ka Ganesh hai na' without fearing for your life tells a lot about Hindu community. No one can talk about your God in that manner in any public place on earth in such a casual manner.

Hum Hindu/ Sanatani har cheez ke andar Jo bhagwan hai unhe poojte hai na ki us particular cheez ko. Sanatan kabhi nhi kehta ki pahad, nadi wagera me aatma hai but unke sabhi ke andar bhagwan hai.

The history of islam here is wrongly stated as it never started after Hinduism, Islam is a religion of believing in Allah which was introduced by Adam so it's the oldest religion in the history of planet earth. Hinduism is an old religion, but the documented history is only 1% and we are unaware of the majority of history hence the evolution of religion from islam is not documented in actual history.

Didn't mention how Bharath took the padukas of Shriram, kept them on the throne and rule and other incidents that are the essence of Ramayan. Again you tried to portray Agnipariksha as a mysoginistc thing, but you never tried to research that before abduction, ShriRam actually sent Mata Sita in the protection of Agnidev and started living with her shadow instead. The Agnipariksha was a way to again bring Mata Sita back after killing Raavan, also it was a way to show that a Woman can never be impure. You only tried to find similarities between our Dharma and Islam. I didn't find any respect for my history as you again and again called it just a story. Agni Pariksha was a controversial part of Ramayan. Actually the real texts shows that it was done because Shri Ram beforehand before going for a hunt he asked Agni Dev to switch real Sita Mata with a fake one produced from Fire energy amd real was safe with Agni Dev. Then Ravan came and kidnapped her so basically he took the fake one but Shri Ram still fought the whole war just for righteousness, woman rights, love for wife and to destroy Raavan Pride. And then after that He called upon Agni dev and returned Fake Fire Sita Mata to him and got back his real wife.

the actual story is that, Rama being the lord actually knew that ravana would come to take sita, but he had to play the story to show the values of life to the people, So, before ravana kidnapped sita, Rama handed over Sita to the lord of fire, and The lord of fire made a copy of sita, who looked like sita but wasn't actually her, the real sita mata was safe with lord of fire,
After that the whole story takes place, when rama defeats ravana and takes sita mata back, he knew this is not the real sita,
So he told copy of sita to go into the fire, and she went, after which the real sita came from other side of the fire, and they delivered this centuries and centuries lasting legendary mahakavya ~ "Ramayana"

Just a side note, I don't understand why English literature ended up adding an 'a' at the end of almost every Hindu mythical thing. It's just Ram, Ramayan, or Dasrath in Sanskrit literature and so is in Hindu, Urdu or any other subcontinental literature.

Hmm ... actually in Sanskrit, that a at the last is always pronounced but in modern Indian languages, the a sound at the last was deleted ... by a process called Schwa Deletion

Shree Ram never doubted Mata Sita. It was the society. There are several Dharma personal to yourself. But when man becomes a king, his outmost Dharma is the Dharma of King. At that moment the people of the kingdom becomes more important than your wife and kids. Society becomes the outmost priority. He was in immense pain but society, we sinful humans can even pressurize god.

No doubt this is an interesting attempt by this person to narrate the story of Ramayan, but Ramayan is not a short story to be narrated in 13 minutes. Moreover, there seems to be a little bit of sarcasm mixed with vanity in his style of narration, IMHO. It is as if he is trying to portray Ramayan as a children's story!
He has a funny smile on his face where he should be more serious. So a question does crop up in my mind......does he really respect Ramayan and Hinduism?

I have read MAHABHARAT and i have experienced moral teachings, respect for relationships and being a family yet some members following truth and some falsehood and atlast the war. That was a similar experience as you are telling about this book.
